Keeps damaged hair soft!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know where to start with this conditioner. It seemed odd to apply to towel dried hair, but I think this is the key to success. While I waited for the conditioner to set, my hair didn't feel soft and slippery like with other conditioners. HOWEVER, the magic happens AFTER you dry your hair. My color damaged ends feel soft for a few days! I touch my hair and am truly amazed. Normally by day 2 my hair feels like straw. I did not even apply my usual leave in conditioner. It's that good. Highly recommend!
I have to mention that this is 5 stars but I don't really like the type of scent it has.

Do not like this at all
I regret purchasing this and not staying with the Resistance line.
I purchased the Cica Chroma since it was new and was recommended after my last color appointment. I didn't see any benefit at all from using it - it actually makes my hair "worst" it makes my hair limp and difficult to manage, style.
With the Resistance line could see the benefits with it, my hair was shiny, way easier to manage, healthy,
I am stuck with an expensive shampoo and conditioner that I am only using since I spent a lot of $$$ on it -

it is important to know how to use
The product actually smells very very specific. It smells like hair dye with peroxide. From experience of use, I can say that you need to apply a lot of product and be sure to use additional nutrition (masks) and oils (you can mix this product with oil or apply oil on top of the product). I have damaged hair and don't wash out any "rinse-out treatments" and this gives an amazing treatment to my hair. This product is more like a serum that still needs to be covered. After drying and using hair oil, the unpleasant odor almost disappears.

Nice lightweight conditioner on fine,thin&colored
To avoid drying out & damage, I wash my fine, thin wavy hair no more than 3x week. I prefer to deep condition with the chroma mask, but can’t every time so I use the fondant cica chroma conditioner on my mids and mix with resistance cement anti-usure on ends the other days. Works great to keep color fresh and hair stays healthy.

Lightweight and smells great
For the first time in a very long time my natural curls have come out of hiding! So many other conditioners for damaged hair are just too heavy. This conditioner is lightweight and smells fresh and sophisticated. I wish it was a little more detangling but you just have to make sure you use enough, spread it evenly and leave it on for the time suggested. Really happy with this product - it brought me back to Kerastase.

Retain color and softness
This and the Nutritive Lait Vital Conditioner are the only conditioners I use for my red, thick and sometimes coarse hair. As I age, my red hair is fading, so when I do get a color boost, the Fondant Cica Chroma conditioner is the best to soften my hair & keep away the frizzies, and retain color. Don't know what I do without the hair color protection products from Kerastase!

Must Have For Highlighted Hair
Smooths out my hair after highlights. Smells is strong but dissipates after drying and my hair is softer. Don’t need a lot to for regular use.

Fondant Chroma Conditioner
I wanted to like this conditioner! Unfortunately it's very watery and does not coat my hair well. My hair feels greasy after using this and I still need to use an additional detangler.

Hi There! After cleansing with a Chroma Absolu Shampoo, apply the equivalent of hazelnut sized amount on mid-lengths and ends, avoiding roots to ensure a lightweight volume. Love!
Always a winner for me. Love this conditioner for my highlighted hair. I leave it on as a deep conditioner and my hair always feels soft and shiny and manageable, especially in the hotter summer months.

Not worth the money
Not worth the price. Terrible smell, left my natural fine straight hair frizzy. There’s plenty of drugstore conditioners better than this. Neither the shampoo, conditioner or mask dis something good to my hair. Waste of money because I can’t use them.

Excellent conditioner for tinted hair
