My hair will never be the same now that this oil has been discontinued :( I use a mix and match of kerastase products that have helped me regain and maintain my hair health through years and years of bleaching and styling damage. It took me ages of searching the market and testing to finally find a brand and specific products that work for me, and to find that when I am on my last drops of this holy grail item that it cannot be replaced, I'm at a bit of a loss. I suppose my next step is to try the elixir oil and pray that it gives me similar results. RIP huile cicaextreme, I will miss you.

I am obsessed with this hair oil! My hair is fine but really thick, I’ve got oily roots and dry ends, so finding a way to hydrate and nourish my mid-lengths and ends without weighing my hair down is a MUST. This oil does the job, it soaks in without feeling heavy or greasy and leaves my hair so soft and shiny. I also love the smell which to me smells like citrus and verbena. I usually apply this at night before bed, and when I wake up I’ve got bouncy, soft, shiny hair that doesn’t look flat and dull like second-day hair sometimes can. Also, in my opinion a little bit of this stuff goes a long way. I will definitely be repurchasing!

I have repurchased 4 times and recommend to everyone. I purchased the original oil and loved it and then I saw this blonding oil and had to try it. If you have thick hair that soaks up product this oil is perfect for you. It’s a bit heavier than the original which is why I think this oil is great even if you don’t have blonde hair and want that extra uv protection. I’ve tried just about every hair oil on the market and this is the only one I continue to buy. If they sold a gallon I would buy it lol!

The Huile Cicaextreme Hair Oil is the only product in the entire Blond Absolu product line that does not work for me. Tried it using the exact instructions, 2 pumps on towel dried hair from mid-lengths to ends, and it left my hair greasy and dirty looking. Tried using one pump, same outcome. My hair is highlighted, but it is naturally dark blonde/light brown, and pretty fine and limp to begin with. This made it even more limp. 2 stars because I gave it to a friend who loves it.

Favorite oil

I used like 4 bottles of this already. It’s my favorite . It leaves my hair super shiny and it really is amazing. After using this daily for a year my hair changed drastically for the better. This is by far my Favorite hair oil and l’ve used a few others: ie olaplex, Moroccan oil with good results except they tend to Darken my ends over time. This has the most wonderful smell and imparts an almost iridescent shine to my hair. It’s Amazing for blondes. Hair saver!

I actually think this is the best product in the bleach blonde care line. The minute I applied it my hair felt instantly more healthy. My hair is never greasy when I use this, it just absorbs and shines. It smells great, seems to really support less breakage and helps my curly hair keep its shape. I can use a drop or two of this in the morning to restore a curl pattern and calm frizz. I’ve used a lot of hair oils, my hair is very thick and very curly and therefore prone to dryness and this is easily in the top 2 I use. It’s topped only by Verb’s Ghost oil and that’s only because ghost oil is a little less thick (and therefore a bit more versatile).

Unfortunately I am completely dissatisfied. It’s not worth the price at all. I thought it would be a replacement for 8h night serum but it’s much worse :( I would say there is no visible effect on damaged bleached hair .. comparing to night serum kerastase. The smell is also bad comparing to 8h serum. Do not recommend
