Absolutely love the ultra violet products! When I was younger I always wanted the pastel colors but my colorist did not recommend as they faded so quickly. Now in my 50’s and with almost all white hair , I finally have my lavender color I’ve always wanted!!! My white picks up the color perfectly. My stylist says my hair is always healthy and hydrated . I was given this product as a gift. It turned my hair color into an iridescent purple! I am going to try to get it out with vinegar and lemon rinse this morning. I sure hope it works. My hair feels soft, but I was not expecting it to change my hair color to a bluish purple! I have used other Kerastase Hair masks and they have done wonders for the look and feel of my hair, but not this one!

Really works!

A little goes a long way, and if you don’t get your hair, wet enough, the purple will show up after you dry it. Otherwise, this product really tones down brassiness in bleached hair.

Dry and disappointed

Disappointing

Not as I had hoped

It is okay, not a nurishing as I would have hoped and I didn't see any difference in my blonde after several uses. Going back to Cicaextreme. I love Masque Cicaextreme Hair Mask and have noticed much better results in the vibrance of my blonde highlights, it leaves my hair soft and managable and receive many compliments about my hair when I use it.

Excellent hair mask

I have highlighted blonde hair (partial foil every 6 weeks) and have well water. I alternate throughout the week with genesis, bain lumiere, and purple shampoo/conditioner. Halfway between visits I use the mask and then another time a week or so later. I find that leaving it on for 5 minutes works for me to control brassiness between visits. Being blonde is expensive but the kerastase products last a long time and are an investment to make my hair healthy despite the the highlights and heat products.

Triggered intense hair loss

Stay away from this product! It did not remove the brassy color from my hair and more importantly and scary is that it made my hair fall out. After leaving on for 3 minutes I rinsed and my hair was coming out by the handfuls while rinsing. When I brushed my hair after the shower, the brush was full of hair. I’ve never experienced anything like this crazy amount of hair falling out.

Dissatisfied and Unhappy

I was introduced to Kerastase products at the salon on recent cruise ship. The stylist used and recommended this line of products. I purchased the Masque Ultra Violet Purple Hair Mask along with the entire line of products he used. I am unhappy with two of the products he used. This masque and the Kerastase Chronologiste revitalizing shampoo. I didn't like the consistency of either product. The masque didn't do what I thought it would do. The shampoo did not meet my expectation. I found that it was very watery and did not even lather up. I would not recommend either of these products.

Purple Mask for Grey Hair

If left on more than 2 min, my hair will get a purple tint. When I was dying my grey hair blonde, this mask was perfect for taking out the bronze. Got the prettiest balayage at my salon, was encouraged by the master colorist to buy this product Not only was it expensive, but once I applied the masque To a washed hair, using matrix unbreak my blonde, I could not even run my fingers through therefore, I used a fine comb that didn’t work either. After waiting five minutes rinse it out with cold water. I use a T-shirt to dry my hair, even after that, I could not run a comb through my hair. SAVES MY EXPENSIVE COLOR WEAVE!

I love the Blond Absolu products for color weaves. I use this mask every time I wash my hair (once a week). In my palm, I combine this product with Kerastase Blond Absolu Cicaflash about 50/50 and gently rub them together in a circular fashion until melted together (cream-like). I rub the cream on from top to bottom and work it into my hair. I leave it on for about 5-7 minutes. My colorist is amazed at how long my color weave stays warm blonde and not brassy (8 weeks!) The fragrance it leaves behind is wonderful.

Quality hair mask but too violet

I really liked the texture and manageability this hair mask gave my hair. Unfortunately my hair is super porous especially with highlighted, heat Sykes, and extensions. So my hair soaked it all in and would have noticeable violet streaks instead of the anti-brassiness I was going for.

Made my bright blonde icy grey!

I pay *a lot* of money to get the perfect shade of bright, creamy blonde. In one treatment with this product, I have icy grey looking hair. I am mortified. I am hoping that this washes away or fades. I absolutely HATE the icy blonde/grey look and have successfully avoided it until now. Also, it’s very drying. It was hard to detangle my hair after this masque.
