IN-SALON PROTOCOL
1 – BATHE
Start with the application of Bain Lumière (to hydrate hair fibers) or Bain Ultra-Violet (to neutralize brassiness). Apply directly on the scalp. Develop foam & perform the 3 gestures of the Kérastase Massage. Rinse and repeat.
Tip: Bain Lumière can be used in duo with Bain Ultra-Violet, as the first shampoo.
2 – TREAT
Based on your diagnosis, and depending on how much time the customer has, apply Fusio Dose or Cicaflash.
Mix the Blond Absolu Concentré + Cicablond Booster. Apply Fusio Dose on each strand on lengths and ends. Detangle, no leave-in time, rinse immediately.
OR
Take 2 pumps of Cicaflash and apply on lengths & ends with a brush. Massage, and twist. Leave it on for 3 minutes. Add water & emulsify. Rinse thoroughly.
3 – HYDRATE & PROTECT
Just like with skincare, you can layer 2% Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum with Huile Cicaextreme or Cicaplasme, to seal in the hydration, for ultimate repair.
On towel-dried hair, hydrates scalp & fiber with 2% Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum. Apply up to 7 pumps on scalp section by section, spread by massage. Apply up to 13 pumps on fiber, depending on hair lengths.
Protect hair up to 450°F with Cicaplasme or Huile CicaExtreme. Put a small amount of the product in your hand. Apply section by section throughout lengths. Don't rinse. Blow dry.

Hands down best purple shampoo on the market!
I have tried many purple shampoo’s and they all leave my hair with that purple hue, even if I leave it on for just a min. This purple shampoo I can leave on for several mins and it has never done that! I always finish with a conditioning mask for 5 mins after I use purple shampoo and then rinse it out before styling. Once styled it is so soft and so beautiful, like I just went to the salon. It is more expensive than the others, but it lasts FOREVER and it works. Totally worth every dollar!!!

Love this shampoo! With my daughter and I both using it, I can hardly keep it “in stock” @ home! Very effective @ removing brass tones! Bain Ultra-Violet is an extremely concentrated formula, one of the most pigmented I’ve ever used…a little goes a long way! When followed up w/the ultra violet hair mask, my hair feels and looks like I’ve been to the salon for a toner refresh! The product is very pigmented and appears to have both purple and bluish tones, but primarily deep purple. In a house of blondes, the Bain Ultra-Violet shampoo is a staple in all our showers!

Night and day difference demonstrated

A shampoo that does not actually clean my hair
So disappointing. I I generally like Kerastase products, so I was surprised at how much I dislike this shampoo -- like, a lot. It literally does not clean my hair! There's no sudsing, and my hair feels gooey and flat afterward. I think it helped keep my hightlights from getting brassy in the summer sun, but it's not worth it at all. This shampoo is $$$$ and has turned me off Kerastase.

Staining product
I’ve only used this twice and both times it stained my hands. I tried to get a refund but so far unsuccessful as I will not be using it in my white marble shower and am not going to walk around with purple hands.

Not my favorite

Works great for very dry, thick hair.
I bought this shampoo and conditioner for my mom and myself. We both have very thick, frizzy hair, difficult to manage. This is the only shampoo that makes my hair fall. My hair feels much softer and it's easier to manage. (I have used the conditioner and hair serum from the same line). Works for my mom great too.

My hair is so luminous and shiny after using this product. When I use it in conjunction with the conditioning mask, my hair is super soft and my blonde curls defined.

Questionable ingredients.
ITCHY SCALP. Ive determined that this is what caused my itchy scalp over the course of 2 years. I would buy this whenever I splurged. I have long hair so it would last maybe 4 months. Every time I used this product, as well as other products , my scalp itched. I would use my other brands for a while then switch back to this brand to determine my observation. Even when I went to the salon that uses this, still itchy. Be careful. I would research every ingredient that you use on your body..

Amazing

First use of the Kerestase Blond Absolu Bain Ultra-Violet Purple Shampoo I noticed my hair was lighter brighter more blonde looking like I wanted with weekly use my color is maintaining the non brassy shinny blonde!!! I absolutely recommend this. I've tried other purple shampoo that just dried my hair out so a relief this actually works!!!!

A decent purple shampoo
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kerestase Blond Absolu Bain Ultra-Violet Purple Shampoo worked…somewhat. It tuned down some of the brassiness but not as much as I would have liked. The biggest drawback was it left my hair very very dry. I had to use a deep conditioner afterwards.

Soft Transformation

I find some shampoos leave it looking artificial as you can almost see the purple undertones. This shampoo left my hair looking radiant with subtle highlights that I haven't seen in a while :)

The Best!

I'm happy with the quality of this shampoo! I'm really weird about smells and it smells very nice and not strong like some other purple shampoos can. It's also the only one that can get the brass/yellow out of my hair.
