I love this product!!

Strong perfume aroma but great cleanser

The cleansing properties of this shampoo are wonderful and I would buy it again. I love that it is sulfate free, but my dislike is the bottle color. It’s just an unattractive shade.

Too rich for my hair
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My stylist told me to buy this to protect the color in my hair. While it smells and feels great, it is too heavy for my hair and even if I limit use
to once every three days, it makes my hair greasy. I usually use the bain force architecte. I will need to mix the two to preserve my color.
The refill bag is perfect, no complaints there.

The perfect concoction
I get highlights every 4-5 months. This shampoo is the absolute perfect antidote to dryness and freeze. It conditions the ends to perfection. Combined with the mask, it is an absolute great match.

A shampoo for thick, curly, & frizzy hair
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have thick hair with spiral curls underneath, frizz on the top layers, and some stick-straight pieces mixed in. I get base color treatment every 8 weeks and highlights every 4-6 months. My hair has been difficult for me to style at home and never looks as good as when I leave the salon. The Kérastase Chroma Absolu is the only shampoo that manages the curls as well as keeps the color bright and glossy. I am able to straighten my hair or leave the curls. I like the versatility this light-weight shampoo gives me. Plus the fragrance is amazing.

Great shampoo, unsure of strong scent
I ordered this line and I’ll be honest… my hair looked amazing after the first use. My only complaint is the smell. It’s the strongest scent of a shampoo I’ve ever used. Has anyone used this and grown accustomed to the smell? If I can’t get used to the scent, I may have to forgo using it, which would be a bummer.

I cannot stress enough the importance of sulfate free products for colored hair. If you find your color fading quickly or coming out after a wash then this is the right product for you. The refill pouch is the best value.

Pricey, but you get what you pay for.
This brand is my new favorite little "treat yourself" splurge. I've never colored my hair until about a year ago. I've started getting highlights/lowlights to cover/blend my grays--I'd rather have real highlights instead of "wisdom highlights". All jokes aside, my stylist recommended this product to me, and I've stuck with it ever since. I've always considered my hair to be low maintenance (mostly straight, fine hair that I touched up with a flat iron and called it a day) and just stuck with drugstore products most of my life. But since I've been getting my hair colored, I've been using with professional haircare product lines, and this one is my favorite one. It's a fortifying shampoo that doesn't weigh down my fine hair. It's hard to find shampoos that don't make my scalp look stringy or greasy on day 2 between washes. With this product line, I can go 2-3 days without washing my hair, just using a little dry shampoo if needed. The sandalwood smell is AMAZING! I'm not one to spend much money on cosmetics or personal beauty services (aside from highlights), but I have no regrets treating myself to this product. If you're wondering if you should get it, remind yourself that you're worth it!

Little bit long way even for thick and frizzy!

By the time you dry your hair and style it's faint but enough that you feel like you have fresh hair for a few days. As one who only washes 1-2xs a week it's great and moisturizing for my color treated thick frizzy hair. A little goes a long way so this pouch will last a while for my hair ( which is probably equivalent to 3 average peoples heads, that's how much I have!) I have a refill pump so this is great and better for the environment ! Love how it makes my hair feel and maintained my color longer. This is one of few shampoos that don't leave my hair like straw before even applying conditioner.

Do not buy the shampoo refill pouch
I picked up my box from our mailroom and noticed the box was wet. When I went to open it, one-third of the shampoo had leaked (the pouch had a small hole in corner fold at the bottom). Shampoo covered everything in my order and it was just messy. I am going to reach out to CS to know if I can exchange it for another, as long as that doesn't show with shampoo oozing out because it had a hole. Maybe it's a design flaw with the packaging. Either way, until Kerastase fixes the packaging, don't buy the shampoo refill pouch.

Great value on the Chrome Absolu color care, my only issue was that it arrived with a small leak that I had not realized it had on the bottom like a small puncture and alot of the shampoo was leaked out and created a mess inside my cabinet.

Best shampoo EVER!
My hair is in the best shape it has been in in years. I am 74 and have color treated hair. I moved to Florida and the salt air was making my hair worse. I went to a new salon and the stylist recommended Kerastase. I fell in love with this product and although it is more expensive than the shampoo I was using before, I will not use anything else. I get so many compliments on the condition of my hair. And the refill bottle is wonderful.

The smell is too strong. My husband kept asking me what I had applied. Please change it. Plus, it does not leather up at all. No matter what quantity I use, I feel like there is not enough product in my hair while shampoo-ing.
