 WHAT IS IT?

Nutritive Bain Satin by Kérastase is a gentle hydrating shampoo for dry hair. Dry hair is nourished and strengthened. The gentle formula of this protein enriched shampoo deeply cleanses dry hair and replenishes hairs softness. This moisturising shampoo revitalises shine and strengthens hair. How To Use

 IN-SALON PROTOCOL

1 - BACKWASH

  • Bathe - Start with the application of Bain or Bain Satin Riche. Apply directly on the scalp. Develop foam & perform the 3 gestures of the Kérastase Massage. Rinse and repeat.

2 - STYLING STATION

  • Treat - Go to the styling station to apply the full Nutritive protocol in front of the client. Mix the Nutritive Concentré + Nutrition Booster. Apply Fusio Dose on each strand on lengths and ends. Don't rinse. 

3 - BACKWASH

  • Treat - Layer Fusio Dose with Masquintense. Take the product with a spoon and put it in a bowl. Apply the mask on lengths & ends with a brush. Massage lengths & ends. Make twists. Leave under the steam without rinsing the product for 10 minutes. Add water & emulsify. Rinse thoroughly.

4 - STYLING STATION

  • Care - On towel-dried hair, moisturize scalp with Nutri-Supplement Scalp Serum. Take 1 pipette until the mark. Apply 2 to 4 doses regarding hair thickeness section by section. Massage gently. Do not rinse.
  • Protect - Hair against heat with Lotion Thermique Sublimatrice or Nectar Thermique. Put a small amount of the product in you hand. Apply section by section throughout lenghts. Don't rinse. Blowdry.
  • Finish - The hair style with the Nutri-Supplement Dry Ends Serum. Show to the client how to use. Take 1 to 2 drops in the palm of the hand. Spread into both hands. Apply on lengths & ends.

Good Basic

It has a clean soapy mild inoffensive fragrance. It smells like shampoo and not like aftershave. So if you hate the strong, acrid, synthetic fragrances in toiletries, you can trust this. It’s a basic good shampoo.

Love the shampoo...dispenser needs upgrade

Love the shampoo but dispenser should be more user friendly. Consider a pump rather than having to fiddle with a cap when water in my eyes.

The worst product my hair

I have used this line (shampoo satin1, nectar thermique, and lait vital) 3 times now. Ever time my hair gets drier and drier.... it is a disaster. I’m looking forward to returning all these products.

We recommend to use it at least for a month to see a real difference. Also, please ensure to rinse your hair very well when using the masque/conditioner and only apply it to the lenghts and ends (not directly on the roots). Hope this helps! A perfect shampoo

I have a lot of fine hair and I have used this shampoo for a few years now. It does not weigh my hair down and leaves it clean and shiny.

keep changing product

This used to be my favourite shampoo. But not anymore as Kerastase has changed it. Earlier it used to be milky in color and now it is transparent and very fluid. I am okay with the color change but it does not do the job. It makes hair dry and gives more volume to already thick hair.

Pas à la hauteur

Je ne recommanderais malheureusement pas ce produit. Contrairement aux autres collections Kerastase que j'ai pu essayer dans le passé et que j'ai d'ailleurs presque toutes adorées, je dois avouer être très déçue de celui-ci.

Rend les cheveux très doux

Après avoir essayé des dizaines de shampoing je peux dire que c'est un shampoing idéal pour mes cheveux long, fins et légèrement secs. Il n'allourdit pas et rend les cheveux faciles à brosser.

Perfect for my hair

It seems that this Bain was made for me! I started my journey with Kérastase for over 3 years with Bain Nutri-Thermique because my hair was extremely dry. It took over 2 years for Bain Nutri-Thermique to make my hair feel soft and "normal" and now I am a very happy customer of Bain Satin 1 as it leaves my hair extra soft and with more volume than Nutri-Thermique. My hair continues to remain as soft as it did with Nutri-Thermique but I am now benefiting from the extra volume.

Shampoing de rêve

J'ai adoré ce shampoing, parce qu'il était parfait pour la texture de mes cheveux. Fins, abîmés par la coloration et la chaleur (donc, un peu sec). La plupart des produits que j'ai essayée pour traiter ce problème me donnait des cheveux un peu gras à la racine, mais tout sec au pointe et les longueurs rêches. Les promesse de cheveux doux n'était pas tenues. Ce produit-ci a véritablement transformé mes cheveux. Je les trouve bien hydratés aux endroits que je le souhaite, sans effet graissant au endroit comme la racine. C'est juste dommage qu'il soit aussi cher, bien qu'un peu de produit suffise. Lorsque j'ai eu terminée la bouteille, mes cheveux sont restés beau plusieurs jours après.

I am a faithful Kerastase user, and this is one of my favourites.

My hair stays cleaner and looks great for extra days over other shampoos and conditioners. I love the results and the fragrance is lovely and calming. I love all Kerastase products and have used them for a few years and everyone comments on the healthy look of my hair. And, a little goes a long way.

Amazing product for fine, dry hair

I have fine hair that is finally all-natural and healthy after years of bleaching and extensions. This is the ONLY shampoo that is both moisturizing and light at the same time. Any other brand of 'moisturizing' shampoo I have tried has left my fine hair weighed down and looking oily. THIS DOES NOT. It moisturizes my hair and seals the ends, making my hair soft and extremely smooth. I always come back to this product and would recommend the entire line to everyone.
