I hate how good this is!

Amazing Shampoo

Caused dandruff and itchy scalp
I was excited to try this product. After two washes I noticed that my color was locked in longer. I also noticed my hair very shiny. I kept thinking “why didn’t I try this sooner?!” As I purchased my second bottle, I began regretting my purchase. I’m noticing a very itchy scalp and dandruff. Ugh. I’ve NEVER ever had dandruff. I’m going to stop using this shampoo and hope to get the dandruff under control.

Great color protection!
I like this shampoo a lot for protecting color. There's less fading/brassiness and I haven't noticed any toner washing out in the shower. My scalp isn't particularly dry or oily but I do notice my hair doesn't look clean for as long as other shampoos - it gets oily maybe 1 or 2 days earlier. Next time I will probably purchase the formula for thick/coarse hair. I like the smell, it's very sandalwood-y but I can see how it might be overpowering for some.

Not for all hair types
The use of the chroma conditioner and shampoo has significantly dried out my hair and has caused my hair to look more split and damaged in the short time I have used it than cheap dollar store hair products. I am switching back to my function of beauty shampoo and conditioner.

The smell and new formula suck
I ve used Kerastase over the years and my favorite has always been the old Chroma line (reflection chromatique) and decided to try this new line. To my surprise, the smell makes my eyes tear and this new formula makes my hair dry, stiff and frizzy! I bought the product with eyes-closed, since, give or take, any Kerastase product is wonderful. But this is just horrible. Save your money.

I especially love the refill packaging, it feels great to not contribute as much plastic to the waste piles. I look forward to when all Kerastase products are offered in environmentally friendly and more economical sensible packaging.

Great for coloured hair!
I think the product works well of colour and thick hair. It has to be paired with the conditioner as well. The mask could be a little heavy for the hair but it detangles it pretty well

Disappointing product update - Would not recommen
Disappointed in the change from the old bottle and different formula of the Bain Chroma line. I had not actually looked too closely at the version I was purchasing and only upon receipt did I notice the difference in bottle and quality of the product, which is now distinctly less pleasant in smell and efficacy when I wash my hair. I fear that this is a means of cost cutting in the formula changes as I have since seen similar reviews posted here.

The best shampoo for color-treated hair!!
I have heavily bleached (and toned) hair and this shampoo cleanses well without drying it. I think it is a little on the thicker side so you don't have to use as much as other shampoos. Because it is sulfate-free, it also doesn't strip the toner out of my hair and allows me to go almost 4 months between color touch-ups.
I can't recommend this shampoo enough to anyone who colors their hair. I like it so much that I give it as gifts to friend/family. Please don't ever reformulate it!

Refill ability and shampoo formula
I really liked the older version of shampoo for colour treated hair much better? It required less shampoo. I also wish to get the refill pouches instead of the bottles or more metal bottles. That’s the point of the refill ability. But this shampoo does work well.

Terribly dry
I bought this shampoo along with Chroma Filler Hair Mask and it completely dried my hair. It felt like straw like hair and my scalp was so itchy and flaky. My hair felt weight down and super dry. So disappointed since I was previously using Chronologiste and decided to switch it up and give Chroma a try but it is not it!

Keeps color from fading!
I have a lot of grey hair that I color black every 7 to 8 weeks and this shampoo helps with not stripping the black dye from my hair and making the color last.

Excellent every day shampoo
I have tried numerous shampoos from this line and while all are good, the Bain Riche Chroma Respect is best for my type of hair. I have natural curls, highlights & lowlights, and dryness at the ends. Just turning 65 years old, aging is a concern. It works well for every day shampooing and smells great!

This is not a replacement for Kerastase Reflection
Bain Riche Chroma Respect dried my hair out and made my balyage highlights crispy. I had become hooked Reflection line on a cruise ship and when I ran out I discovered that it had been replaced by the Chroma line. Reflection was the best line I had ever used and I am beyond disappointed that you no longer make it. I have done a deep dive into all lines at Kerastase to find a similar product. So far my next choice is the Nutritive line - and if that does not work I will try Discipline - after that I will give up.

Amazing Shampoo!

Protects Shampoo and Smells Fantastic
