Really works

MAGIC in a bottle

Instant results!

After years of color and straightening processing,this product instantly smoothed my damaged dry ends. I was skeptical initially as the product felt heavy, but my hair quickly absorbed it, and within within a couple of hours, the ends were smoother.and after a month there has been definite improvement. I apply to my wet ends after I shampoo and condition and then reapply a tiny amount after my hair is dry. As I only wash my hair a couple of times a week, Additionally yes, ma’am apply some of the serum to the ends and brush through several times between washes. And it smells so good.

Still a staple but miss the OG formula

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Transparently I liked the old formula a bit better, but I still use this consistently and it’s become a staple for me. It’s super easy to apply (I recommend wet hair vs dry) and the oil texture smooths through my hair without it feeling too heavy. It also definitely helps with manageability and keeps my hair looking healthy overall. The biggest win though is the long term results: my ends feel healthier and I don’t have to get a trim nearly as often. Giving it 4/5 stars nonetheless just because I wish it had whatever that extra oomph was the OG formula had.

Even when I trim my hair regularly and use moisturizing conditioners, I still always seem to get them, especially in the same spots. I started using this right after my most recent trim and I’m honestly kind of shocked by the results. I have way less split ends now, especially in my usual problem areas, and I don’t feel like I need to dust my hair nearly as often. It actually feels like those sections are growing back healthier instead of breaking again right away. I also really like that it doesn’t make my hair look oily at all. If you use the right amount, it just makes your hair feel super soft and look a little shinier, not greasy. It feels lightweight but still nourishing, which is hard to find in a hair oil. The packaging itself is super nice too, the dropper is easy to use and there is a lot of oil in the product. Overall would recommend!

Light and effective

The bottle is a nice heavy glass, which feels high quality and expensive. The product had a similar consistency to other hair oils I've used. The difference between this and other hair oils I have used is that it really seems to soak into my hair rather than lay on top. My remaining frizz left after my blowout was mostly tamed without weighing it down. I liked the fragrance as well. I will definitely continue using this product in my hair washing routine. I was hopeful this would help the split ends a little bit, but I did not notice a drastic difference. Brough My Ends Back To Life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wait this is what this Kérastase hair serum smells like? I’ll be honest: I’ve truly despised most haircare brand fragrances lately, but this… this is different. It smells incredibly nostalgic. It reminds me of warm rays of sunshine kissing my hair on a beach, fresh, and undeniably appealing quite transported. That said, the scent is quite strong, so if you’re sensitive to fragrance or prefer something subtle, I’d recommend smelling it in a salon first. Since breaking my arm, my hair has become a split end ridden, damaged mess. What was once a simple routine turned into a daily challenge, and my hair paid the price. From one handed blow drying, to unevenly applied heat protectant, and the not so glamorous act of bracing my head against the wall just to attempt clipping my hair up all took their toll. It shows clearly and unapologetically in the photograph, where the damage at my ends is impossible to ignore. Looks like straw. That being said, this product has helped drastically. The photos shown are taken one week before use and one week after, and the difference is unmistakable. My hair feels noticeably healthier, with significantly less frizz and far less breakage than before. My hair feels stronger too. The first time I used it, the product absorbed quickly into my ends. As results became more noticeable, I found I needed less to maintain the effect, which also helped prevent any greasiness. Great for Damaged Hair

With that in mind, so far I have like adding this to my hair care routine. I got my first perm this year, so with some extra chemicals added to my hair, it’s been nice to have a product to help with my dry hair and split ends. I love how easy it is to use just rubbing it on the ends of your hair. It smells nice, but is rather greasy on the fingers. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This serum has a nice overpowering aroma. It works well on dry hair, leaving it very saloft. It reduces frizz and gives you smooth hair. It comes with a dropper for easy use for a precise application. It leaves a non greasy feel on the hair.

Effective hair serum

I used this serum at night allowing the product to absorb into my hair to straighten it. The applicator is very good because it helps to get the right amount of product to apply to my hair.

Longer use

Decent, but expected more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After testing this split end seum for a little less than a month, I have to admit I haven't seen much cumulative progress. It definitely gives some hydration to the ends when applied, but weighs down my fine hair so I have to be very careful with timing of the day that I use it and also the amount. I wish I had longer to test the product before writing a review because I think long term effects might lead to a different opinion. For now though, I wouldn't switch to this product over what I currently use. However, I do enjoy the scent and consistency of the product. Also, as a side note, for anyone who has sensory issues, this really coats your hands so that's something to note.

Amazing!

I have tried several different types of split end serums but none have actually worked as well as this one from Kérastase. It truly is amazing!
