I have a lot of split ends, so I will have to keep using it and see if it makes a long-term improvement. Hydrating serum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before and after photos included, on freshly washed hair. The longer my hair gets, the harder it is to keep the ends looking silky and fresh. My fiance also has long hair that hasn’t been cut in five years, so we’re always looking for good hair products to add smoothness and shine. I liked this product and thought it did a good job of adding moisture and silkiness to both of our hairs. It’s a typical oily feeling product—so my only complaint is how hard it is to get off my hands after applying, and the dropper can be a little leaky if not careful.

Noticeably softer hair the morning after :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a huge fan of Kerastase, so I was excited to try this split end serum since I’ve been dealing with some crazy split ends (see pic!). I’ve tried everything, even sleeping on a satin pillowcase, but heat styling does a number on my hair. This serum makes my hair feel noticeably softer the morning after application. It’s a thick oil, but it absorbs quickly, so it’s not greasy (my hair stays clean just as long between wash days). The scent is really light, kind of like baby powder, but it doesn’t stick around long. I love using it with the Nutrition Night Serum from Kerastase. If you use it at night, you’ll wake up with hair that actually feels healthier and looks shinier. My ends have never looked better (see recent pic)!

Eh. Not worth the hype

My hair is already in need of a trim, but I’m not seeing even a tiny improvement. I think that the serum is a bit too overpriced, but not enough to where I’d avoid recommending to family or friends- so it is ultimately worth the money. I love the glass bottle and drop applicator, although it is easy to dispense too much product at once if not careful. I find that one or two drops is enough for my very long hair, and I usually apply it to clean, dry hair with my my fingers, warming it up in the palms of my hands and lightly running the serum through the mid lengths and ends of my hair. It leaves my hair feeling and looking, softer, silkier, and healthier without weighing it down, as shown in the before and after photos. I have used dry hair oils as well, but this serum feels much more hydrating and repairing for any split ends due to the plant based protein and niacinamide content. The scent is pleasant and not overpowering, so it does not conflict with any other fragrance being worn. I highly recommend this split end serum from Kerastase!

I applied to my end strands but not mid shaft mid shaft was very frizzy with fly ways (my hair shed and growth cycles are all over the place) but the ends were smooth and tame. The issue I have is that the ingredients must be somewhat toxic? It gives a strict warning about not getting in eyes and the flammable hazard sign on the bottle

I was disappointed with the bottle - the dropper isn’t effective so the serum drips out as soon as you remove it from the bottle, before you squeeze the dropper. Also the scent is too strong for me as I’m sensitive to fragrance. However, the serum works well in smoothing out the frizz in my hair and adding instant shine. Great serum to get soft and shiny hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This serum has a thick, almost stretchy oil that when rubbed into hands becomes very smooth. The effects are immediate when I put it on my hair, as it becomes incredibly soft and shiny! My many split ends definitely become less visible as well! Love this stuff! Smells so good too!!!

Very strong fragrance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually love Kerastase products, but unfortunately this one was a miss for me. I have fine and wavy hair and this weighed it down pretty badly. It did smooth it out, but at the cost of losing any volume I had. I also could not get past the smell - it’s a very strong and mature floral scent, not at all the type of fragrance I usually would go for. It does seem like a good value because a little goes a long ways. However, even if I had good results from it I still wouldn’t buy again solely because of the smell.

Hydrating Hair Serum

I’ve been using it for a few days now and it has been so effective at sealing split ends. I already use their elixir oil so my process has been to use the elixir/leave in on wet hair and then I apply this to my ends once it’s dry and it’s been amazing! You only need to apply a little bit so I can see this lasting a long time. It also smells so good! It’s not an overpowering scent either which I appreciate. Definitely loving this addition to my routine and I can see myself continuing when I run out!

Super good for damaged hair

Noticeably softer hair after only one use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in somewhat dire need of a haircut with the ends of my long hair becoming increasingly scraggly, so this was a great time to test out this product! I was initially worried as sometimes oils can weigh down my ultra fine hair, especially when it is as long as it is right now. This product worked great even after one use, and I'm two uses in. My hair was noticeably softer, except for the very super fried tips at the end which are a lost cause. The oil is lightweight and doesn't leave me greasy. The scent is strong in the bottle but doesn't linger too long in hair, it is a sweet musk scent that is generic but pleasant enough. I had a great experience with this product!

I used this on day after wash day and split my hair in half. I used one pump of the serum per side of my hair and hand combed it through mid to end.
