Heat Protection with a Nice Scent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Kérastase Nutritive Heat Protecting Styling Cream as a gift to review, and I couldn't be happier with it. This cream smells amazing and a little goes a long way. After using it, my hair isn't frizzy and doesn't feel greasy at all. It gives excellent heat protection and leaves my hair looking smooth and shiny. I use it right after I shower and before I do anything with my hair and even when I curl my hair, the product seems to help me hold my curls. I give it a 5/5!

Solid conditioner from a great brand

Not the quality I am used to from Kerastase

I always use top notch products on my very thin and fragile hair and Kerastase is my go to brand for heat protection. I absolutely Love their Discipline Smoothing milk and splurge on it often. This has a very light scent. It tends to leave my hair feeling drier than normal. During and after styling I feel like my hair is not as soft as it is normally. If you have more oily hail, this would probably be a great product, but just not for me.

Love minus the smell

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start off by saying that my hair is recovering from bleaching the life out of it for over 20 years. My hair is thin, baby fine, dry, chemically damaged, and breaks easily. It's hard to find good hair products that can treat the dryness without adding tons of oil that weigh my hair down. The product itself feels silky and you need very little on the ends of your hair. Your hair feels clean but also healthy afterwards. It does not leave a greasy or heavy residue. My only issue is the scent. The scent is VERY heavy and overwhelming. it did break me out into hives and also gave me a headache.

A No From Me

I don't use heat on my hair much but opted for using this on the days that I just dry my hair and I hated how my hair turned out every time. I used the absolute minimum amount of this so as to not be heavy handed and in the end my hair looked no better (worse actually) than if I hadn't used this product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given the opportunity to test and review the Keratase Nutritive Protecting Styling Cream for Dry Hair for free. And this is what I think: Upon my first use, I was unimpressed. While my hair was wet it felt drier than before with other brands. The instructions on the label tell you to use the amount of "two drops." Two drops?? What does that mean? It's a cream, so is that a pea-sized amount? Drops the size of a dime?? However, after figuring out the right amount for my hair (turned out to be a nickel sized blob) and combining with other products in the line (shampoo and conditioner) and drying, I was very happy with the result! My hair was smooth and soft and remained that way for a few days (I do not wash my hair every day). I think this is a great product--I did not have any problems with my fine hair being weighed down or being dried out. The only thing I don't like is the vagueness of the amount to be used, how hard it is to find English on the label, and price point when I will want to purchase it in the future :)

I have fine, wavy/curly, dry hair and this leaves it soft but doesn't weigh it down. It does help with frizz, as well. This product says it's for medium/thick hair, while the rest of the system says fine hair, though. I use just a small amount since my hair is fine. I haven't tried it with heat tools, I've just used it as a leave in and let my hair air dry. The scent isn't my favorite, but I don't hate it. I would recommend!

My hair feels significantly softer & less frizzy when used in pair with the conditioner and shampoo from this same line. The only downside in my opinion is that it's not my favorite fragrance. It has a pleasant smell and a light texture. It didn't weigh my hair down. I have medium length fine, dry, wavy, color treated hair. My hair still felt a little dry when it was all said and done. Outstanding hair product!

First impression...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Here's my first impression... Scent: light, fresh. Hair just smells clean. Hair loss during blow dry/styling: typical amount, minimal. Feel: hair feels super soft After drying: hair looks frizzy, but it feels super soft. Styling with a thermal brush helps to control the frizz after the initial blow dry. I'll need to continue using for a few more weeks, but so far I enjoy using this system. Received product for free in exchange for honest review.

Great leave in for my fine thin hair

Prevents Dryness & Brittle Ends

Smells amazing

I didn’t want to like this. I mean, look at the price! But man oh man does this make my hair feel amazing. I’ve only used this as a leave-in when I’ve air dried my hair so I’m not sure how it works for blowouts. It makes my curls feel healthy and soft unlike any other leave-in I’ve tried. And there is no stickiness. Stickiness is my number one enemy when it comes to leave-ins so for that alone, I’ll repurchase this until they stop making it.

Great heat protection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved using my Nectar Thermique heat protection on my hair when I straightened it. It made my hair so soft and helped it to stay straight for longer than without the product. It was very creamy and not too thick. I have continued to use this everytime I use my straightener.

Hair Magic

I call this hair magic. My hair is just so much thicker and better quality with this cream. I put it in wet hair and then comb and blow dry. I hope they never discontinue this product.
