Be careful with proteins, as you don’t want to make your hair too strong, as it leads to breakage. This mask smells good, is packaged nicely and really makes my hair look awesome after one use. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve always struggled with really dry, frizzy hair, especially my ends, and no conditioner or oil ever really fixed it for me. This is the first mask I’ve used that instantly made my hair feel different, like not just softer in the shower but actually noticeably better for days after. I ended up stopping conditioner completely and now I just use this 2–3 times a week, and it honestly transformed my hair. My ends feel way softer, my mid lengths are less frizzy, and my hair looks so much shinier without feeling heavy or greasy. It just makes everything look healthier and smoother, which I never really got from other products. I also have had way less breakage when brushing my hair, and my hair doesn’t fall flat anymore. I have very straight hair that sometimes seems stringy, but this mask has made my ends look bouncy and even a bit voluminous. Not Wheat Free

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Kérastase hair masque is nice and thick, and I did notice an improvement in my hair texture—it felt more hydrated. However, it made my eyes water. I personally think it was the scent; in my opinion, it smells like a more intense perfume version of plain bar soap. For a hair mask, I generally prefer something fragrance-free. If they fine tuned the scent a bit, I could see it being much better. I believe the reason my eyes were watering was that it contained wheat protein. I feel a bit silly for not checking first. Due to my allergy, I had to stop using it immediately. I didn’t have a reaction, but I didn’t want to risk it. It rinsed out clean, no residue or greasiness hair looks clean and refreshed. That said, I did see some improvement in my hair I felt it was softer and much more hydrated, especially when combined with their new serum for split ends. Overall, if you have a wheat allergy, this is a no go. I truly hope that someday companies will stop putting top allergens in products. I understand the benefits for hair and skincare, but it’s frustrating. I really wish they would make a wheat-free version of this. Photos before after

Moisturizing without heavy residue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm really loving this hair mask! I use it in place of conditioner, but you could definitely use it in addition to conditioner if your hair needs a little extra love. The consistency is perfect, in my opinion - just a bit thicker than conditioner. I have used hair masks that are so thick that it is difficult to get it through the hair. This Kerastase mask is easy to distribute through the ends and mid sections of my hair. It is also easily washed out when your treatment is done. One of my main problems with hair masks is that they are so thick and gooey, it will take forever to wash it out and leaves a nasty residue on everything. I do not notice any of that with this product. I am a big fan of the fragrance as well. I have used hair products that have a very strong "salon" scent and I really hate it. I was so glad that this product had a very light and fresh almost baby powder scent. Something was nostalgic about it. The packaging was heavy and expensive feeling. The jar has a strange shape though, which may make it hard to keep in showers with limited storage. I would have liked for it to come in a pump bottle, squeeze tube, or with a small spatula for hygiene purposes. You can use your own spatula to avoid dipping your fingers in (especially if you have long nails and don't like getting products under them). All in all, I would purchase this product again! My hair felt moisturized without being weighed down with heavy residue. I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review.

Disappointed

I didn't see any improvement in my hair, and actually have been seeing more brittle ends than usual after switching to this from my regular routine. I don't feel like it helped with hydration either and the fragrance is terrible...it reminds me of Grandma perfume. It's almost astringent. Quite bummed out about it.

It has a nice clean scent to it and a little bit of it goes a long way! I applied it to my hair after it was freshly washed and towel dried. I let it sit before washing it off and while I washed it out I could tell a huge difference already. It felt so soft and was easy to comb through afterwards. My hair was incredibly moisturized! Does a nice job with some setbacks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used this mask a few times over the last couple of weeks, and I have takeaways on the following: the performance, the scent, and the process. My hair is thick and can dry out easily in the winter. I felt like this product helped to moisturize my hair, making it less frizzy on the days immediately after washing, which was a plus for me; I was happy with this outcome. When I first opened the product, I was immediately taken aback by the very strong scent that reminded me of a great aunt who layered her not-so-lovely perfume on a little too much; the scent stayed with me even after the shower. I remember thinking I might not even use the product a second time because it was so off putting to me (and I’m not sensitive to smells at all), however the scent doesn’t linger once your hair dries, so if you are super happy with the results of the product, I think you could put up with the scent. Lastly, the process for using this product just doesn’t fit well with m my routine. With two young kids, my showers are on the fly or later at night when I’m exhausted. When I saw that you were supposed to was your hair, then towel dry it, out this product on for 3-5 minutes and then get back in the shower and/or just hang out in there with out getting your hair wet, I realized it was doable, but it realistic for me. Overall, I don’t see myself using this product often, but may be something I grab and give a go if I notice my hair getting extra dry, otherwise I will look to an alternative that works better for my routine.

Smells great, softer hydrated hair without weight

I think my only opportunity for the company is the container opening is small, I have small hands so it works for me, but people would large hands would struggle getting all the product out.

I really like the deep conditioner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this for free from Kerastase and influenced her in exchange for an honest review. My hair is fine, dry and brittle. I keep it curly in the summer, straight in the winter. I really liked the conditioner even my hair dresser asked what I was using. It leaves hair feeling stronger and shiny. I kept it on for 5 minutes as recommended. I did however sit under the hair dryer so it could penetrate more. I have split ends because I use a hair dryer brush to maintain my hair after straightening and this helped. However I did cut my ends recently but I always have a cow lick in the front by the part and this helped to smooth that out. I like the conditioner best.

Can taste the smell

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was super excited for this product but this product has a very strong fragrance to it. It’s almost a chemically smell. It’s so strong that I can taste it, which is not great. It does take a while to rinse out of my hair. I did try it a few times but I didn’t feel like it really did anything to my hair that my regular conditioner didn’t do. Not my favorite product.

I love Kérastase products, so I was genuinely excited to try this mask. Hair professionals know that Kérastase does very good masks, and this one lives up to that reputation. The scent is herbal and quite strong. I personally love it, but if you’re sensitive to smells, keep that in mind. Performance-wise, it’s excellent. My hair feels deeply moisturized, noticeably softer, easier to comb, and much easier to style after washing. It’s definitely on the expensive side, but if you’re craving a real spa-like hair treatment at home, this mask is absolutely worth it. I would recommend it without hesitation.

Before/after

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this product because my hair is usually so dry and it likes smoothed my hair. It was so well that It felt so hydrated. There was no residue and it was very easy to rinse. My hair looks shiny and had a lot of volume because of how easy it was to de tangled things this hair mask. I love this brand and they never go wrong. I had added my before and after so you can see how hydrated my hair ended up looking and feeling.

Nutritive Hair Mask is rich and nourishing. I have gray hair, which can sometimes be hard to keep shiny and healthy looking. This mask really helps a lot. I will plan on keeping this on my rotation of fabulous Kerastase products.

Very nourishing great for very damaged hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mask is amazing for dry and color treated hair, my hair was getting very thin and looked very dry, the mask revived and gave shine to my hair, it only took 10 min fot the mask to act and nourish my hair, I noticed a lot less frizz and more manageable, the styling time reduced in half since it was very soft and not frizzy also I only used one more product to achieve a nice shiny hair, this hair mask is amazing, very recommend it

Detangles and moisturizes hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Kerastase Nutritive Masquintense Hair mask for free for my honest review. This hair mask is very thick and moisturizing. A little bit of product goes a long way. I have thick, long hair that goes past the middle of my back and it tangles very easily. This hair mask instantly detangles and make brushing my hair effortless. It washes out easily and doesn’t leave my hair feeling greasy or sticky. My only complaint is that the scent isn’t that great. Thankfully it’s not that noticeable after I rinse it out and dry my hair. Would definitely recommend.

Worthwhile Luxury Addition

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have not tried a new hair mask in such a long time, and this one did not disappoint. I have medium thick hair that has damage, split ends, and is in need of a trim. The scent smells like more of a perfume based salon product versus herbal. It is very conditioning. You are supposed to apply it to clean towel dried hair and then rinse out 10 minutes later. On the days you use it shampoo and skip the conditioner. I recommend using it once or twice a week max. Any more than that seemed to start drying out my hair more than hydrating it.

Best mask ever

The scent wasn’t too strong which I really enjoyed. I’m not sure if it’s my favorite product ever so that’s why I’m giving it four stars. The packaging is good quality and it’s an easy to use product. I have thicker straight long hair and it seemed to do a nice job for my hair. I included a photo after I used the product. I let my hair dry and then I took a photo and it looks good. I would recommend this hair mask.
