Luxury hair care

I sold Kerastase, but probably more than 30 years in my salons in Massachusetts. I believe it is the best product for anybody’s hair care needs whether it be something to repair or to maintain the quality of one’s fabric. Unfortunately, I can’t carry it anymore because I don’t have five stations however I’m still a luxury salon noted in the Boston area. I hope someday they’ll change the rules and open up the door so I can continue to educate my clients on a product that I truly believe in that now I have to buy that retail prices to me in my family.

Must-have for my dry, fine, dense, and long hair!

Game changer mask

Smells incredible but way more important - it actually works. I have long, fine hair and it gets weighed down by a lot of products. Not this mask though. I try to keep it in for a min of 5 mins, but my hair afterward is silky smooth. Love this!

Great for thick, coarse, dry, color treated hair

I dont always use kérastase but when I do I always get compliments on the softness and shine the products bring to my thick coarse hair. Since I now color my hair every 4-5 weeks and added highlights my hair started looking very dry like old straw/hay. Masquintense gave me the results I was looking for after trying 4 other lessons expensive brands. Kérastase is definitely worth it and I will be using more of their products more often.

Salon-Worthy Results Every Time

I have color-treated hair with highlights, and I use Masquintense almost every wash day—especially after coloring my hair. I apply it, wrap my hair in a warm towel, then rinse it out. Honestly, the warm towel isn’t even necessary because it works amazingly either way. Even when I use it right after shampooing with Kérastase shampoo, it leaves my hair feeling incredibly soft while keeping it healthy, strong, and nourished. I can’t imagine my hair care routine without it!

MOST AMAZING DAILY MASQUE

This is the first mask I’ve used that instantly made my hair feel different, like not just softer in the shower but actually noticeably better for days after. I ended up stopping conditioner completely and now I just use this 2–3 times a week, and it honestly transformed my hair. My ends feel way softer, my mid lengths are less frizzy, and my hair looks so much shinier without feeling heavy or greasy. It just makes everything look healthier and smoother, which I never really got from other products. I also have had way less breakage when brushing my hair, and my hair doesn’t fall flat anymore. I have very straight hair that sometimes seems stringy, but this mask has made my ends look bouncy and even a bit voluminous. Moisturized hair

Not Wheat Free

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Kérastase hair masque is nice and thick, and I did notice an improvement in my hair texture—it felt more hydrated. However, it made my eyes water. I personally think it was the scent; in my opinion, it smells like a more intense perfume version of plain bar soap. For a hair mask, I generally prefer something fragrance-free. If they fine tuned the scent a bit, I could see it being much better. I believe the reason my eyes were watering was that it contained wheat protein. I feel a bit silly for not checking first. Due to my allergy, I had to stop using it immediately. I didn’t have a reaction, but I didn’t want to risk it. It rinsed out clean, no residue or greasiness hair looks clean and refreshed. That said, I did see some improvement in my hair I felt it was softer and much more hydrated, especially when combined with their new serum for split ends. Overall, if you have a wheat allergy, this is a no go. I truly hope that someday companies will stop putting top allergens in products. I understand the benefits for hair and skincare, but it’s frustrating. I really wish they would make a wheat-free version of this. Photos before after

Moisturizing without heavy residue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm really loving this hair mask! I use it in place of conditioner, but you could definitely use it in addition to conditioner if your hair needs a little extra love. The consistency is perfect, in my opinion - just a bit thicker than conditioner. I have used hair masks that are so thick that it is difficult to get it through the hair. This Kerastase mask is easy to distribute through the ends and mid sections of my hair. It is also easily washed out when your treatment is done. One of my main problems with hair masks is that they are so thick and gooey, it will take forever to wash it out and leaves a nasty residue on everything. I do not notice any of that with this product. I am a big fan of the fragrance as well. I have used hair products that have a very strong "salon" scent and I really hate it. I was so glad that this product had a very light and fresh almost baby powder scent. Something was nostalgic about it. The packaging was heavy and expensive feeling. The jar has a strange shape though, which may make it hard to keep in showers with limited storage. I would have liked for it to come in a pump bottle, squeeze tube, or with a small spatula for hygiene purposes. You can use your own spatula to avoid dipping your fingers in (especially if you have long nails and don't like getting products under them). All in all, I would purchase this product again! My hair felt moisturized without being weighed down with heavy residue. I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review.

Good for when you need it but not for frequent use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Four stars because I do not like the texture/consistency of this product.. it reminds me of and smells like petroleum jelly or the silicon mix hair treatment. And for me, it will not be a product that I will use on a regular basis; not too sure of the lasting affect it will have on my hair. But it did hydrate my hair and leave it feeling soft and manageable after I washed it out.

Super silky hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Leaves my hair feeling so silky and smooth! A bit of a time intensive process because you have to wash your hair then apply and leave it on then wash it off again but it is quite restorative and a great treat for your hair when you have the time.

Detangles ad shines

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is really my favorite masque. I have fine thin frizzy hair that breaks off very easily. Whenever I shampoo, it gets very tangled. The masque detangles my hair and makes it more manageable and shiny without wearing it down. The scent is really nice too

Effective hair mask for dry hair.
