PROTOCOLE EN SALON
1 - LAVAGE ARRIÈRE
Bain - Commencer par l'application de Bain ou Bain Satin Riche. Appliquer directement sur le cuir chevelu. Faire mousser et effectuer les 3 gestes du Massage Kérastase. Rincer et répéter.
2 - STATION DE COIFFAGE
Traiter - Se rendre à la station de coiffage pour appliquer l'ensemble du protocole Nutritive devant la cliente. Mélanger le Nutritive Concentré + le Nutrition Booster. Appliquez Fusio Dose sur chaque mèche, sur les longueurs et les pointes. Ne pas rincer.
3 - LAVAGE ARRIÈRE
Traiter - Superposer Fusio Dose avec Masquintense. Prélever le produit à l'aide d'une cuillère et le mettre dans un bol. Appliquer le masque sur les longueurs et les pointes à l'aide d'un pinceau. Masser les longueurs et les pointes. Faire des torsades. Laisser sous la vapeur sans rincer le produit pendant 10 minutes. Ajouter de l'eau et émulsionner. Rincer abondamment.
4 - STATION DE COIFFAGE
Soin - Sur cheveux essorés, hydrater le cuir chevelu avec Nutri-Supplément Scalp Serum. Prendre 1 pipette jusqu'à la marque. Appliquer 2 à 4 doses en fonction de l'épaisseur du cheveu, section par section. Masser délicatement. Ne pas rincer.
Protéger les cheveux de la chaleur avec la Lotion Thermique Sublimatrice ou le Nectar Thermique. Déposer une petite quantité de produit dans la main. Appliquer section par section sur toute la longueur. Ne pas rincer. Sécher au sèche-cheveux.
Finition - La coiffure avec le Nutri-Supplément Dry Ends Serum. Montrer à la cliente comment l'utiliser. Prendre 1 à 2 gouttes dans la paume de la main. Répartir dans les deux mains. Appliquer sur les longueurs et les pointes.

Unpleasant Smell

Amazing!
I have been using the Nutritive Bain Satin Shampoo for more than 5 years and never have a bad hair day. And, after losing some hair around the frontal hairline after taking some medication I am happy to report it has grown back. I was disappointed when Satin 2 was no longer available, however, Bain Satin is just as good if not better.

Bring back the old formula!
I used Bain Satin 1 for decades and absolutely loved it. The new formula is not at all like what I loved. It made my hair heavy and it looked like I hadn't washed it in a week by the next day. Please tell me what formula now is most similar to the Bain Satin 1. I haven't found an alternative shampoo I like as much as my old Bain Satin 1

Not for Fine Hair
This is a heavy product that made my fine hair feel dirty and look frizzy. I’m sure this product would be helpful for thick, unruly hair or severely dry hair, but not for my fine hair.

Clean and moisturized
This product is part of my regular hair routine. After using it, my hair feels softer and looks healthier. I do need to use another shampoo every three or four washings to remove oil buildup at my scalp, but this is the best product for my dry hair.

Similar to old Bain Satin 2
The new "Riche" formula is not for me, but this Non-Riche version works very well for my hair and scalp, and I find it more similar to the old formula Bain Satin 2, which I liked a lot and had been using for over a decade. I wish they would offer it in the travel size as well.

Saved my hair!
When I first started using Kérastase, this was the very first shampoo (and collection) I tried and it completely saved my hair. My hair used to be dry and dull, but thanks to Bain Satin, it became hydrated, soft, and healthy again. It truly transformed the condition of my hair. Now that my hair is in such great shape, I’ve switched to the Densifique line since I have fine hair, but I’ll always be grateful for how this collection brought my hair back to life. A total hero product!

Softens and smells amazing
This is my favorite scented shampoo in the Kerastase line. I have used this in conjunction with the Nutritive Masqintense hair mask for many years anytime my hair feels a little on the dry side. It does not add volume for me, but does leave my hair soft and shiny and it smells incredible.

Une catastrophe pour les cheveux secs
J utilisais depuis 25 ans la gamme magistrale le shampooing et le masque qui etaient formidables pour mes cheveux secs, bouclés, mechés,et Kerastase l a remplace par le bain satin riche en shampooing qui est une catastrophe. Il asséché mes cheveux qui sont cartonnés au point de ne pas atteindre mon cuir chevelu pour le nettoyer?!
Quant au masque masquintense riche ou bain satin riche ,il donne sur le moment les cheveux soyeux mais une fois séchés, ils sont secs et fourchus.Avec l ancienne formule il y avait de l huile de besoin donc des lipides qui permettait de nourrir les cheveux ce qui n est pas le cas de cette nouvelle formule totalement ratée. Quelle déception. De moins en moins de coiffeurs proposent d ailleurs Kerastase qu ils ne trouvent plus du tout haut de gamme et adapté.
Je vous conseille d agir sinon les clientes vont partir vers d autres marques si ce n est déjà fait.
Comme moi qui suis obligée de le faire, déçue.

Smooth, but not life changing
The formulation of this is smooth and it is a very rich lather, but its not life changing for my hair. Some shampoos feel like a great base to clean and prep before shampoo, without making the hair feel stripped, and this one certainly cleans but i feel like my hair has a hay consistency after its rinsed out and the only way to correct the snarls is to save the day with a conditioner of high quality. Its not awful, but its certainly not life changing or one i would personally buy again.

I really like this shampoo, smells great and doesn't bother my really sensitive scalp. Being "older" and "color challenged" I may need something a little more moisturizing so I'm trying a different Keratesse product this time.

Cleans without tangles
I shampoo once every 5-7 days, so my hair is quite dirty and has lots of different products in it. This shampoo cleans well but unlike other shampoos doesn’t tangle my hair. My dyed grey hair isn’t as frizzy since using Kerastase products as well. I am very pleased with the condition of my hair. Keeps my color nice as well.

Great daily shampoo

Nothing special
I've been wanting to try this for years. Finally decided to try it, and find that it's no better than v05 from the dollar tree. It left my hair very dry and tangled. Paired together with the conditioner, I'm worse than when I started.

Works well with dry hair

Another Favorite!
I use many products by kerastase and this shampoo is one of my favorites. When I feel like my hair is a little dry, I use this shampoo and with conditioner my hair is soft and manageable. The smell is a soft floral scent but not strong. I use the Mask and leave in my hair before blow drying my hair. It looks healthy, and smells good too.

Too heavy, not worth the high cost
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Way too heavy and leaves a ton of product buildup. I needed it for dry hair/scalp and it is just way too heavy. Leaves my scalp very oily and I have a dry scalp. I will not buy this again, there are other salon level products that don’t cost as much that work better and don’t make your hair so greasy.

Good shampoo
I’ve been using Kérastase products since 2003 and have struggled to find an effective shampoo and conditioner that I love for years now. Kérastase is still the best on the market, but I’ve tried so many & they discontinued 2 of my favorite lines - the green volume line (d/c’d around 2012) being my absolute favorite. I’ve yet to find a GREAT PRODUCT. I have A LOT of fine, long, and color treated hair. This shampoo works for my hair and helps reduce dryness, but I think I need to start using the hair masks for my regular conditioner because this “conditioner” and others simply don’t work for me. My Hair is still very tangled, feels dry, and coarse. I do not have coarse hair - it is fine, but I have a lot of it. It can go flat quickly so I’m limited to lighter conditioners. This shampoo and conditioner helped, but I think I need to try one of the hair masks for more moisture and shine without weight
