Good but not the best

I use two different Kerastase products and though I love the shampoo and mask, the conditioner is not quite enough for my hair in the winter months. I need more moisture than this seems to provide. But during the warmer months this is great.

Wonderful conditioner

My hair is color treated, but because I am quite grey so I have frequent root touch-ups I look more for conditioner that keeps my hair soft, than whether it maintains the color. This is a great choice for me.

Good, but the mask is better

Th e Kérastase Lait Vital Conditioner is a good product—it leaves my hair soft and hydrated. However, compared to the Masquintense Riche Hair Mask, I feel the mask delivers better results for my hair. I’m not sure if I would buy the conditioner again, as I prefer the deeper nourishment of the mask.

Natural Waves brought to life

The Kérastase conditioner is a game changer, especially for my fine hair. It’s lightweight yet incredibly nourishing, which makes it perfect for my hair type. Just okay

It’s better than some of the conditioners I’ve used from Kérastase. I’ve been using Kérastase products since 2003 and have struggled to find an effective shampoo and conditioner that I love for years now. It’s still the best on the market, but I’ve tried so many and they discontinued 2 of my favorite lines - the green volume line (d/c’d around 2012) being my absolute favorite. I’ve yet to find a GREAT PRODUCT. I have A LOT of fine hair, long, and color treated. I think I need to start using the hair masks for my regular conditioner because none of the “conditioners” work for me. Hair is very tangled and feels dry and coarse. I do not have coarse hair - it is fine, but I have a lot of it. It can go flat quickly so I’m limited to lighter conditioners. This shampoo and conditioner helped, but I think I need to try one of the hair masks for more moisture and shine without weight.

Was ok

I really liked the smell and shampoo and I really wanted to like this conditioner but I felt that I had to use way more product than I was intending to use and my hair didn't feel particularly conditioned when used on its own. When used after a hair mask, my hair felt silky smooth and was not frizzy at all after drying it. This aspect gives it the 4/5 vs 3/5 stars.

This Actually Conditions

Literally amazing cannot recommend this enough

My hair has been so shiny since getting the night serum and Genesis shampoo. This just makes my hair so shiny especially paired with the serum and a hair mask! It smells kinda powdery which isn’t my favorite smell but it goes away from the smell of my other products and I love how shiny and soft it makes my hair so it’s fine lol. You also only need a very small amount! A little goes a long way to coat the ends of your hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked this conditioner because I needed to keep the top layer of my hair nourished and moisturized. Having extensions, the top layer of my hair gets dry and frizzy, and noping this would act as a preventative detangler for extensions. This conditioner smells very nice. It's not overpowering in fragrance, yet it is gentle and subtle. I did like the results after using it for my hair felt nourished, and I do believe it assisted with not getting as many tangles in my extensions. It does state to use it on wet, towel-dried hair and leave it on for 2-3 ninutes. I highly recommend following those instructions/advice. There was a big difference in how my hair reacted, whether the towel dried my hair after shampooing it, and when I did not do that and just put the conditioner on right after shampooing. The product must get into the hair better without the barrier of water. From experiencing this with this product, I think all conditioners should have these same instructions. All in all, I love the Kerastase line and highly recommend this product.

I love wash day now

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After receiving this product complimentary, I wash my hair about 2 times a week. I'm a proffessional hairstylist and I've been in the industry for 19 years. Using this product, it has made my hair softer, less tangled and smells great even days after. While in the shower I apply on mid strand to ends and use a wide tooth comb to de-tangle my hair. It doesn't take much effort at all with this conditioner. Overall if you're looking for a product to fight dryness and dull hair while fighting tangles, I suggest this product and the whole line.

Hair feels great after, during is just so-so

I don't follow the ingredients exactly...it asked for towel dried hair before using, but I try to dry my hair as much as I can while in the shower without using a towel. Bonus is that it smells great!

Not for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I did not enjoy the Kérastase Nutritive Hydrating Conditioner for Fine to Medium Dry Hair. This product has a strange scent. I also really hate how you have to screw the whole top off and it doesn't stay attached to the bottle. This does not fit into my shower routine well. The product itself applied easily to my hair and rinsed well too. Afterwards it feels like it weighed my hair down while also not hydrating it at all.

Great moisture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hair is fine and has been very dried out from coloring. I try a lot of different shampoos and haven't found one that I want to go to again and again. I have been impressed by this product line and I would recommend trying the shampoo and conditioner together. I couldn't tell when using the shampoo if there would be a difference. I do use a scalp shampoo brush and thoroughly clean my scalp everytime and I'm able to get a good lather going with the brush. By the time I had used the conditioner, it was immediately clear that it left my hair very soft in the shower and the hair was not overly dry after blow drying and heat styling. I've been using it consistently for over a month and haven't had any regrets!

Baby Powder Like

Light but moisturizing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this conditioner for every day use. It was moisturizing enough but still light so it wasn't greasy. I do have very dry hair so I will still need to use a hair mask about once a week. Sometimes when I use conditioner, no matter how much I rinse, I am stuck with a greasy spot in the back of my head. I like that this one doesn't do that. The smell isn't my favorite but it's light so you don't notice after you wash it out.
