This is my go to for. Year now. I would never ever give up this product. I have long gray hair that dries out quickly. This product makes my hair amazing. I receive several compliments a day on the condition of my hair.

No scalp itching.

This is the first hair oil I’ve tried that doesn’t cause my scalp to itch. I wear my hair very short, almost buzzed, that tends to frizz. Many hair oils I’ve tried, and I’ve tried way too many, helped with the frizz, but then there was the scalp itch. On my hair, this particular oil stops the frizz, adds a lovely shine and softness, doesn’t look oily, and doesn’t cause itching. My quest for a hair oil has ended.

Perfection

Softens just enough without removing texture and a pretty subtle shine. I’ve tried on damp hair before styling as well as on dry as last product, both are nice, but I prefer as the last product in my styling routine. I have thin/fine hair so thought I was just not a hair oil girlie bc even a drop made my hair stringy. This one is so good??? Adds shine and a bit of frizz control, very light and nice smell too! Give it a try

I have tried many other oils and they have always been too heavy on my fine hair regardless of their claims. I thought I would never be able to use a product like this but I kept searching because I’m in the process of restoring my hair following an illness. This is literally the only oil I can use that does not weigh my hair down or make it look greasy. It is pricey but does last a long time.

Great Hair Product!

First Hair Oil That I Love

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shu Uemura shared this product in exchange for an honest review. To be honest, I was a little nervous to try the hair oil because this was not a product type that has worked for me in the past. Well, this product completely changed my view on hair oils! I applied the product each time after washing my hair when my hair was damp but not soaked. The first thing I noticed was the amazing smell--this could be a pro or con for some people, but I suspect it is less of an issue for people since it is going on the hair and not the skin. I can only describe the smell being like an expensive French skin care product--smells "natural" for being scented, not like it is trying to smell like something with a bunch of synthetic additives. The smell wasn't heavy and didn't linger. When I first started using I applied only the tiniest amount because oils can make my hair greasy BUT after a few times I was using the correct amount. Absolutely NO greasiness. Instead, the oil left my hair shiny and bouncy. Genuinely one of my favorite hair products. I know it is on the higher end of price points, but I feel it is completely reasonable given the quality and amount (should last awhile) of product you get.

Decent hair oil

The oil itself is lightweight, not heavy like other hair oils I've used before. A few drops in your hands go a long way! Worked much better on dry/semi damp hair. I used it just for a day out with natural dry hair, as well as a protective oil before using heat tools. I've fallen in love

The price of the product is high however with the amount of product you receive it's justified, I can see this hair oil lasting me a 1-2 years! I can't wait to try other products from Shu Uemura.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free from bzz agent for my honest review. Amazing hair oil! I love how silky smooth and shiny it leaves my hair. My hair tangles less and has nice faint smell from using the oil. I alway make sure to apply after I'm am done styling my hair and apply pea size amount. The product does not leave my hair greasy at all.
