best shampoo

this shampoo is pure butter. i have extremely dry blonde hair and dry scalp. this shampoo lathers so well, and gives the hydration my hair and scalp require. this is my favorite shampoo and worth every penny.

severely allergic

first day loved the shampoo/conditioner complex as it made the hair silky and beautiful. i have a lock of hair on my nape that is very coarse and dry and gets tangled easily and it was the first time in ages when i was able to just run the brush through it easily. now to the sad part - after about 3 washes my scalp got extremely dry and itchy, and then just flakes of dry skin started coming off along with about triple amount of hair than usually comes off during the wash. i do have a sensitive scalp and i know it, but this has never happened with any other top shelf shampoo brands.

A Necessary Luxury

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product complimentary from Shu Uemura and BzzAgent in exchange for my honest review. I have fine hair, but A LOT of it. It can sometimes get greasy at the roots, but overall dry and dull. A frizzy mess. Detangling my hair post shower was always an arduous process. It’s difficult to find a moisturizing hair care regimen that caters to the above, without weighing it down (as evidenced by the minefield of hair products in my shower). So I’m grateful to have been given an opportunity to put SHU UEMURA’s Urban Moisture Deep Hydration Shampoo to the test. It delivered on all claims: intense hydration, nourishment, frizz reduction, detangling, strengthening, and shine. Though I was most impressed by how smooth, clean, and light my hair felt after first wash! Rarely are those descriptors synonymous with my hair…and life in a humid climate. The scent is also divine and lingered enough for my husband to notice. Wasn’t long before he tried to claim as his own. Overall, this shampoo exceeded my expectations and is worth the investment. Highly recommend!

Made my hair dry as hay

It made my hair shiny and softer, and both products smell very nice! It didn't help detangling my hair as much as my regular drugstore conditioner does, I still had some trouble detangling it with my hair comb. I also didn't find that it particularly helped with the frizz. I still enjoyed using both products, they lathered very well with very little product and made my hair look healthy and nice, but I don't feel like it is worth the high price tag in my opinion.

I liked the shampoo because of the smell, feeling of the shampoo in my hair, and my hair was shinning afterwards. I particularly like the aroma that is in the shampoo solution. As I was enjoying the aroma of the shampoo, I lathered some shampoo over my hair and it created more foam than other shampoos I have ever tried. I felt like this shampoo was much more efficient than other ones I have tried previously. It felt like I did not have to shampoo my hair multiple times to feel like my hair was clean. And after drying my hair, I noticed that my hair was much more shinny and does not leave any residue on my hair. There are so many great benefits to this shampoo. Truly, I recommend the urban shampoo by Shu Uemura to everyone. This is one of the best shampoo I have ever tried and will continue to purchase this shampoo.

Nice Shampoo

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hair is dry and damaged due to over bleaching and I think this shampoo (in conjunction with the conditioner, which I think did most of the work) did help with moisture and softness, though towards the end of the day, the more damaged ends did get a bit dry/tangled. As this wasn't geared towards damaged hair, I think it did well overall. I also liked that a little of the shampoo seemed to go a long way for me. I received a travel sized bottle (75ml) which easily lasted me 14 days (your mileage may vary depending on hair length/density). The only con for me was I wasn't the biggest fan of the scent -- I thought it was a bit Play-Doh like, fortunately it didn't last.

Hard water

Not for thin fine hair

The shampoo and conditioner were meant to be very moisturizing, which I believe really were. However, I have a very fine thin hair and I guess it was too much moisture because by the second or third day I looked like I had really greasy hair. When I put the shampoo in my hair it's so different than other shampoos. I think maybe whatever is in it was weighing my hair down. I used the whole bottle of conditioner but I ended up throwing away the rest of the shampoo unused. My hair returned to normal once I switched back to my regular shampoo. Again, I think it's a moisturizing shampoo but I wouldn't recommend it for hair like mine.

Every shampoo or mask I use for dry hair doesn't make my hair soft. My hair use to be so soft and I guess too much hair coloring, bleaching and heat caused my hair to be dry. In the past, I used john frieda frizz ease daily nourishment shampoo but it didn't help with my dry hair. My hair is rough when I touch it and I didnt like it. After trying shu uemura urban moisture, I saw a difference in the texture of my hair and my hair was less frizzy. I am almost out of the product and I will be buying more. Left My Hair Feeling Wonderful

The bottles are SUPER CUTE and the smell was AMAZING! The Shampoo lathered up nicely, a little goes a long way unlike most shampoos. It left my hair feeling squeaky clean !

Good Premium Shampoo and Conditioner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried Urban Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner by receiving a free sample. Although it was a free sample, I did enjoy how nourished and moisturized my hair felt and looked afterwards. I have very long hair and only had to use a small amount of shampoo. The only reason I only give 4 stars is because the shampoo did not create as much, rather no lather at all. That would be the only reason why it's not a perfect score. But i most certainly would recommend this shampoo and conditioner to my friends and family!

Scently Delicious

Amazing shampoo

Great for Dry Hair!

Perfect for bleached hair

This stuff foams up more than any shampoo I've ever used, so a little definitely goes a long way. It smells great, not overpowering. It left my hair feeling clean, soft and shiny. keeps hair in the very best condition. This is a great moisturizing line if you highlight your hair, it is fine and needs moisture. I would definitely repurchase. it's definitely a good product and highly recommend.

Love the way my hair felt!

It only required a small amount which spreaded so nicely throughout my hair! Definitely give it a good rating and would definitely recommend to anyone with same hair type or just dry hair alone!
