Hair savior!

Fantastic repair shampoo

I have long, thick hair down to my knees and it has, or should I say had, tended to frizz when the weather is humid or windy. It also tends to be dry which makes it more prone to breakage. Since I started using extreme repair shampoo and conditioner my hair has felt healthier and has remained smooth or substantially smooth even in humid or windy weather. It's one of the best shampoos I've ever used and I highly recommend it.

Conditioner to keep.

This conditioner really helps to control split ends and any frizziness. I leave it on in the shower for 4 to five minutes. It allows me to comb through tangle free and helps to pro when you blow dry. I little secret —all shu umera conditioners work very well.

WAS the Ultimate but Reformulated, cheap bottle

This was a 5 Star shampoo —now it’s runny with same smell but odd white color. GONE is its former rich, viscous, moisture cleansing power & luxury bottles. Ultimate Reset years ago was worth the luxury salon price experience at home; notice most high reviews are old. The entire line was redone—even the bottle lid does NOT close correctly (spillage!). Disappointed & actively seeking other options.

No pump. Lid easily broken.

There’s no pump, so it’s harder to use. The lid was broken easily. One week after I bought it, my cleaner dropped it on the ground and the lid was broken. More than half of the shampoo leaked out and the remaining shampoo lasted for only one more week.

Obsessed

This shampoo, paired with the condition is hands down the best shampoo on the market. I have colored lightened hair and this product has saved my hair from becoming a crispy mess. It’s spendy however a little bit goes a long way. It lathers beautifully and leaves my hair feeling so clean! I’m definitely hooked and will never be able to use anything else.

Terrible

Hydrating Shampoo

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Shu uemura shampoo as a freebie. I didn't need to use much shampoo, as it lathered well. It also smelled great. I will seek out this product the next time I an in need of a shampoo replacement.

Nice!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hair felt so soft & hydrated after one use! This shampoo left my hair feeling clean without feeling completely stripped. It is a bit spendy, but a little goes a long way. The scent isn't as nice as the accompanying hair mask. My hair is thick & wavy, but fine strands.

Good shampoo

Complete Reset

This shampoo not only smells great, but also leaves my hair feeling squeaky clean without feeling stripped, which happens too often. I also made it through day 3 hair with no extra greasiness. I loved trying this product and love Shu Uemera!

I love the shampoo (not the price!) but I will be buying a full sized bottle because it worked so well for my wavy and coarse hair Asian hair. It's been incredibly humid here and my hair was never been smoother. And, with the humidity, I needed something to actually wash my hair of sweat and oils. I'm not a fan of the fragrance (mature floral) but it fades so I'm happy with that. I like the hair mask but felt that I've had hair masks (like Milbon) that work similarly.

Clean and renewed

The products I use in my hair are cleaned off my hair. My hair is less frizzy and also has less flyaways. Using this shampoo I can actually get an extra day before I need to wash my hair if I wanted as it doesn't get as oily as quick. The shampoo isn't a thick shampoo but average texture.

Works great, Like a Clarifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have long, coarse hair with curls. It is prone to frizz and I was excited to try Shu Uemura. It moisturizes generously and leaves the hair sleek. It does however leave the hair feeling a bit heavy, but I suppose that is common with heavy moisturizers.

Shampoo

After Using, my hair feels very soft and manageable. I love the salon smell when I wash. Not sure if that is the typical size of bottles, but I would definitely need more product for that price

It's very good but not the best

I have extremely big hair (very thick and below bottom length). I need to give it longer try to see the long term benefits. Still a very good product.

Excellent for pool damaged hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to see this in my mailbox. We've tried products from this brand before and been very pleased. We're coming to the end of summer and spending five out of seven days in the pool- so needless to say hair in our house is very damaged. Often stiff and sticky with damage from the chlorine. This shampoo worked excellent to remove buildup and soften the hair.
