Legit hair mask for VERY damaged hair

My hair was damaged because of dyeing it from blue to green to now blonde, I've been having issues with the brittle bristles that made my hair so hard to manage.. I cant even hand comb it because it gets easily stuck! I was so excited to try this hair mask, I washed my hair and on my damp hair I applied the mask generously and leave it on for 10-15 minutes, then rinse. As my hair dries I can noticed how it smoothen my hair. My hair strands felt thicker than before and I can comb my hair with my fingers! It's softer and it literally revived my hair! Love this mask!

You really need to leave it on for 10-15min to see the benefit but if you have time for this you'll definitely see the results! The fragrance is pleaseant and the formula texture is nice though a bit hard to scoop out of the jar as it is very slippery. Overall loved the results even after one use though!

Good results

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am impressed with the results that I have had using this hair mask. We have hard water and I have color treated hair so my hair goes through it. Especially here in Florida where the humidity makes my hair frizzy. This product has a nice smell, make my hair softer and helped some with the frizz. I also like that it is free of sulfates. There are a lot of ingredients that I can't pronounce on the ingredients list which I don't love, but I do appreciate the company's transparency of listing all of them. I like the results, but probably wouldn't spend this much on this product.

Life changing and smells amazing!

When I opened the jar the scent is the main character. It's not overbearing by any means. Shes very elegant…dare I say…demure. While in the shower I started small just in case I use too much. Plus the aroma fills the bathroom when you shower which is slightly therapeutic. Now I want the whole line! It works very well. It didn't give me that slip when rinsing it so I wasn't sure what to think but upon blow drying my hair felt so soft and looked extra shiny. I could also tell after numerous uses my ends were healing and not so rough & frizzy looking. Only drawback is my hair did get greasy a little quicker than regular conditioner but I don't use it every wash so I don't consider that too big of a deal. If you have any damage it's definitely worth getting. It will last you forever because a little goes a long way!

It's a maybe for me

There are no directions on the jar and the print that was there is so teeny tiny that if there were directions it would be nearly impossible to read. So I just use it like I would use any other mask. 2. The consistency is really nice. It's thick and slippery and it feels really great when I apply to my hair. I'm able to work it into my ends and length really nicely and my hair feels well covered. 3. The smell is not for me. It is very purfumy but also has a strong undertone of alcohol. It's not terrible though and the smell some doesn't deter me from continuing to use it. 4. My hair does feel softer so I think it does work, but it also seems to leave my hair with a heaviness and doesn't feel clean which i don't like very much. Overall it's a good product and it works but the price point combined with the aforementioned concerns would make me think hard if I were to consider this again.

I think this is an exceptional hair mask that gave me very quick results even after one wash. I used this in place of my conditioner after I shampooed my hair and left it in for about 10 minutes. After rinsing it out, I could immediately tell how much better my hair felt. After blow drying my hair, I noticed an incredible shine that I typically don't get with my other conditoiners or hair masks. I will say that I personally am not the biggest fan of the scent, but generally am not too bothered by it. Replaced Keratin Treatments for Me!

Thank goodness BzzAgent sent me this product to test and review. I have long, thick hair that becomes dry and damaged easily. So, for the past 4 years, I've been getting salon keratin treatments every 6 months to help manage my mane. After trying this product only once, I loved my hair so much that I canceled my next keratin treatment. My hair was unbelievably soft, light, flowy, and incredibly easy to style. The softness even lasted through the next shampoo. I will be using this hair mask weekly from now on. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is awesome, first off the packaging looks luxury and it holds that title. The product is quite nice, smells soft and delicate but nice, it thickness is just right not too thick where it would weigh down but not thin where you feel no change. I let it sit on my hair for about 10 minutes before washing it off, and the result was soft not tangled hair. Even after air drying my hair, it was still soft and manageable, I could comb it with my fingers which says a lot since I have very damaged hair from coloring it often.

soft mask for damaged hair

I saw results after couple of use and it always leaves my hair shiny and extremely soft. I leave it on for about 10 minutes after shampooing my hair and I can always tell a difference if I don't use it. I definitely would purchase this item and recommend it to friends.

As soon as I applied it, my hair changed—it became softer and more manageable. Since my hair is so curly, it's difficult to detangle, but within five minutes my hair was completely untangled, and it usually takes me about 30 minutes for that process. My hair feels soft and hydrated. I loved the product, and I will be buying the whole line because the change in my hair with just one use and one product was very significant. Besides the fact that it feels like it gives life to my hair, it also smells really good. So far, I can't find anything wrong with this product.

Worth It

Smells expensive because it is!

My hair definitely felt hydrated and easily detangled, and the yummy smell lingered for a bit the next day. I really enjoyed the rich formula and moisture it gave my hair. The price is a little on the high end for how much product I need to coat my long hair, and the jar itself is beautiful, but a big struggle to easily open in the shower as there is no grip to the product and the cap is very slim.

I have fine hair, but a lot of it (length is a few inches past my armpits). Because of this, I have the dreaded issue of combination hair - meaning, easily weighed down and limp above my ears, and bone dry mid-shaft to the ends. It's like having 2 completely different hair types, which makes finding the right products a challenge. Hair masks and deep conditioners are definitely much needed on my ends, but I typically have to be very careful that I don't get any of it close to my scalp or it'll be flat and an oily mess after a day. I was pleasantly surprised that this mask really delivered exactly what I was hoping for - silky, smooth, and moisturized hair without it feeling or looking weighed down! Really felt comparable to when I get a deep treatment done at the salon. I feel that makes it worth the splurge in price. It also smells good, but not overwhelming. Soft flowers and a subtle powdery scent, which aren't my usual favorite notes, but it's really not bad! I would definitely recommend this mask if your hair type is similar to mine.

Spectacular Hair Mask

Moisturized Hair to the Max!

I've been using this product twice a week and I immediately noticed a difference. First, you only need to use a little bit because I little goes a long way, even with my long hair. I've been leaving it in for at least 10 minutes and then thoroughly rinse out. The result is really nice, moisturized hair and more defined curls. Shu uemura makes premium products so I can understand the hesitation of spending the money on this product, but the 6 ounces will last a long time and you will love your hair afterwards.

I often use hair masks on my hair over regular conditioner. This is hydrating but not heavy feeling. It leaves a nice healthy feeling to my hair after washing. It doesn't leave build up in my hair. It washes off nice and clean. I use about a quarter size amount to coat my hair and wash my hair every 2 days. I think it will work good with thin hair but not sure if it would be hydrating enough for coarse or curly hair that is very damaged.
