Provides UV an and heat protectionis our best styling mousse for thin hair. A luxurious volumizing mousse, with a strong hold level and an innovative formula that combines ingredients from Xyloses for heat protection to Vitamins E that help minimize oxidation damage. This mousse for fine hair thickens fine hair, offers maximum hold with flexible movement and shape memory with the use of micronized polymers. This light hair mousse won't weigh hair down, and volume is controlled by the amount of volumizing mousse used, for a flexible effect.

Love this Mousse!

Too heavy and lack of volume

Poor packaging ruins the product
The product is great but the packaging is problematic. I have had 2 bottles of this and on both of them the top broke off without any reason. It’s extremely difficult and frustrating to dispense and doesn’t foam as it should. I will bring both back to my salon and buy a different brand.

Bought 2 - both containers broke.
I bought 2. I've used mousses before. I was excited about trying this one out. At first I loved it. Well, I love the product - but after 10 days the bottle broke and I could no longer get out the product. I thought it was a fluke and was upset at the cost of the bottle that I only used for 10 days. I started using the other bottle I bought. Same thing - only this bottle broke in a few days. Please make better quality containers. I loved the product --- but can't afford to buy a new one every week.

I have medium hair and needed a product to provide extra hold, fullness and volume at the roots and on my bangs. This product did nothing. Perhaps it will work on fine, thin hair but definitely not on medium. My bangs are thin and wispy and it did nothing for them either. I do not recommend. First time I have been disappointed in a Kerastase product.

Bottles broke.
Bought two bottles. Liked the moose on my hair. It really helped with my shine, keeping the style and reduced friz. However both bottles had the tops break and left me with well over half the mousse that I could not get too. I paid quite a bit for them. The bottles each lasted junder two weeks.

Disapointing.
Promised it would hold my hair. I have a chin length bob. My hair fell into my face within 5 minutes. Tried three more times with different strategies. Same result. So disappointing for such an expensive product.

Nice, light weight mousse
Mousse Bouffante is one of my favorite volumizing products. It's super light weight and easy to work with. It does not leave a sticky or tacky residue in the hair like other foams I've used. I love this one and the Densimorphose. You can't go wrong with either.

Top Breaks Every Time - Useless
I’ve ordered this Mousse Bouffante several times and the top/dispenser has cracked and/or broken off on each one after only a few uses, rendering the product absolutely useless. Because it’s been used Kerastase will not accept returns, despite the product being consistently faulty. Super disappointing given the cost. I expect much better quality from Kerastase and won’t be ordering any products like this again. Should have learned my lesson after the first couple broke.

Excellent mousse
I love this mousse—my hairdresser uses it and urged me to do so as well. I feel like it protects my hair when I blow it dry and definitely adds volume and lift! It also makes my hair softer and helps to condition it. I only need to use a small amount, so it also lasts!

Best mousse I have found for fine hair!
I absolutely love this mousse! I am 60 years old with fine, straight hair but a lot of it.w I've never been happy with mousse products before. They were too heavy. I would usually use a root spray for volume.
I have now found the best combination! Even though this mousse protects against heat, I towel dry my hair and add a small amount of Ciment Thermique Blow Dry Primer and then about a golf ball size (or smaller) of this mousse and blow dry. My hair is well conditioned and soft with this combo but has plenty of body and bounce. I hesitated buying this because it said strong hold and I was concerned it would be heavy or stiff, but instead it DOES have strong hold but is soft and so easy to manage. I can run my fingers through it and it just adds more body when I do.

Seems to Have Changed
I have been using Kerastase Bouffante Mousse for several years. It has been a favorite styling product for my fine, straight hair. I few months ago it was out of stock for a while, but I finally ordered it again when it was back.
However, I've noticed a difference in my hair when I use it. It isn't giving me the body and bounce it used to give, though the shine is still there. I have tried varying the amount, even layering it with other products, but it is always the same. It soon after styling, becomes flat and superfine. And straight. My hair has not changed in it's own texture or anything else, but this mousse seems to have changed somehow. Perhaps some ingredients have changed? Is it a one time shortage of some ingredient? I don't feel I can rely on this mousse now, and will have to start searching for another product.

Not a lot of volume and dries my hair - I loved kerastase mousse in orange can but it’s discontinued- I keep trying to find a replacement

Great Product

Very nice Mousse for fine hair
The Mousse works very well for my fine hair. It does not dry the hair and it gives nice volume. It is not too heavily fragrance which is a huge plus for me

They don't know how to ship this product
Gets damaged during shipment every time - has happened for years and Kerastase does nothing about it. The damage is severe so the dispenser never works. I will never order again.
