An amazing hair mask

It is very thick and it is easy to use too much. I do not have thin hair and the first time I used this mask I definitely used a little too much and my hair felt weighed down. A little goes a long way. I wanted to give it 4.5 stars because while the packaging is fancy and weighty, it's a hassle to try to close it with slippery hands. I wish it had a flip top.

Very thick and creamy

This is a very thick and velvety hair mask so be sure not to use on your roots. I typically will put this on my dry ends, bundle them up, and let it stay while I soak in the tub. Nice shampoo!

Great Hair Mask for Dry Hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mask from Kerastase promises to add hydration and strengthen hair from breakage. The texture is thick and creamy. The scent which is subtle is citrusy and floral. I like that this mask only requires 5 minutes to leave on your hair. I used this after the Genesis Shampoo. For results my hair did feel smooth and shiny. I cannot honestly say that it helped breakage but I did just start using this mask. I recommend this mask from Kerastase if you’re looking for a nursing hydrating mask.

Nourishing hair mask

The packaging feels luxurious but can be a little annoying to open in the shower since you need to put the cap down to use it. I would definitely consider repurchasing this. Blown away by how good this is!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free from Influenster. I started using this mask a month ago and boy was i surprised at how good this product was. A little goes a long way, that’s for use and it left my hair shiny, smooth and tangle free the moment I used this in the shower. I love the soft subtle scent either. At the end of the day, my hair is normally oily at the roots and just feels heavy and greasy, but after using both the shampoo and mask, it feels and looks like i just washed my hair! It’s so easy to brush and no tangles as well. It is a bit pricey but i will buy this again!

Hydrating Mask

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never used this Kerastase Masque Reconstituant Hair Mask before but have used other products from this brand in the past. I used this directly after shampooing with their shampoo and I like the viscosity of the mask. It is thick which tends to penetrate my hair more easily. My hair is very coily and gets extremely dry. Using this mask allowed me to add moisture back to my follicles, however, it does not have as much slip as I'd like. I worked it through my curls and finger-detangled before using a wide-tooth comb to further detangle my hair. I usually do this process and the mask softened my hair but it still required effort to detangle fully. I ended up having it on my hair for longer than the recommended five minutes. It rinses away easily and my hair looked and felt soft and hydrated. I finished with my usual styling products before putting it in two-strand twists to air dry. Overall, it is a good mask that works relatively quickly. It has a very perfumed scent (flowery) so people with allergies or sensitivities may not like it. I didn't mind and it seemed to dissipate over time. It's a little on the pricey side but on par with many masks.

Smells amazing

They Had Me With the Pink Packaging

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m in love with this hair mask. This is a deep mask that softens and strengthens hair. It has a nice thick texture and seems to coat your hair strand by strand. While I am not the biggest fan of the Kerastase line scents generally, this smells good (soft floral, not offensive with a slight chemical smell). It’s not offensive but also not “I just stepped out of the salon”. I feel like I have noticed very slight less breakage on my color treated hair from using this for the last 4 weeks but not a huge difference. It works great as a deep moisturizer and I will continue to use it on my straight coarse thick color treated hair.

Fresh Scent, Soft Hair, Worth the Value

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Kerastase Masque Reconstituant Hair Mask for the past several weeks together with the Kerastase Genesis Bain Nutri-Fortifiant Shampoo, and I'm very happy with the results. First, Ilove the scent of this mask, it's fresh and uplifting, with notes of bergamot and lime. The formula hydrates and nourishes my hair beautifully, leaving it silky, soft, and healthy-looking. I also appreciate that it only needs to stay on for up to 5 minutes, unlike other masks that require 10-15 minutes. The packaging is also a plus-the soft pink color looks elegant and adds a nice touch to my shelf. Another great thing is that you don't need to use much product; just a small amount is enough to get great results. As for hair fall, I think l've noticed a slight improvement, but l'll need to use it for a few more months to truly see the results. While it is a little bit on the pricey side, I think it's a good value considering the quality and how little you need to use each time. Overall, it's a wonderful mask that leaves my hair feeling nourished, soft, and manageable. l'd definitely recommend it.

There is a line where my dry bleached hair is in need of extra hydration but not too much to where it leaves my hair feeling unwashed. It is very conditioning, and my hair was so soft after using it. The scent is very rich but not overwhelming. My only complaint is that as someone with long hair, it definitely weighed my hair down a bit. And while it made my hair shiny, it didn’t make my hair quite as shiny as their Première Anti-Breakage Repairing Mask for Damaged Hair. That one is still my favorite, but the Genesis mask is good for some extra hydration. Definitely recommend.

I’m continuing with the routine and hoping that in a few more months, not only will the shedding stop, but I’ll start to see new hair growth. Lots of chemicals, not very natural

Also not a fan of the super strong chemical/artificial fragrance which is just a bunch of chemicals used to make a scent. Artificial fragrance/parfum is a known endocrine/hormone disrupter and there’s enough data out on it that I wish companies would stop adding this toxic stuff to their products.

Not for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given a chance to try Kerastase Masque Reconstituant Hair Mask. The hair mask comes in a cute little pink container. It doesn’t smell as nice and fragrant as its shampoo counter part. However, it does have a very light and appealing scent to it. I put the hair mask conditioner on my hair and followed the instructions after using the shampoo counter part. The conditioner sat on my hair and made it stiff kind of stiff. Rinsing the conditioner from my hair did not make my hair softer. In other words, the product didn’t condition my hair. It may be that this product isn’t formulated for my hair type. I would not buy this conditioner again for my thick hair.

The first thing that stood out to me was the scent – it smells so luxurious, like I just had a salon treatment, and the fragrance actually lasts in my hair. After rinsing, my hair feels so soft, smooth, and moisturized, but not weighed down or greasy. I’ve noticed it looks healthier and is easier to brush and style. Heavily Perfumed

The hair mask left my color treated hair feeling soft and smelling amazing, but unfortunately I found this heavily perfumed hair mask irritated my skin and scalp. After using for the past two weeks my scalp is dry, itchy and flaky. If I avoid placing this product only on my ends I am able to condition my hair without irritation. I am also not a fan of the packaging and would prefer a squeeze bottle or pump so I don’t have to stick my fingers directly into the jar. I wanted to like this hair product, but unfortunately it doesn’t seem to work well for me.

All this to say my hair gets a bit of a beating. I have naturally thick hair but I shed quite a bit. I am no spring chicken. This hair mask is quite effective. My hair felt very shiny, smooth, manageable, silky and full. Flyaways and frizz were to a minimum. My only tiny critique is scent. Not terrible but a bit like pool water or insect repellent. Not terrible but not delightful/delicious. Worth it for the payoff.

Soft Locks
