Kérastase Huile Cicatextreme Hair Oil by Kérastase is a strengthening hair oil that repairs sensitized post-bleached hair. It deeply hydrates and nourishes damaged blonde hair, leaving it illuminated.This lightweight transparent hair oil combines Edelweiss Flower and Hyaluronic Acid to help smooth and repair bleached hair. It boosts your hair’s resistance to external aggressors as well, delivering softness and shine and protecting hair from heat up to 230°C.

IN-SALON PROTOCOL
1 – BATHE
Start with the application of Bain Lumière (to hydrate hair fibers) or Bain Ultra-Violet (to neutralize brassiness). Apply directly on the scalp. Develop foam & perform the 3 gestures of the Kérastase Massage. Rinse and repeat.
Tip: Bain Lumière can be used in duo with Bain Ultra-Violet, as the first shampoo.
2 – TREAT
Based on your diagnosis, and depending on how much time the customer has, apply Fusio Dose or Cicaflash.
- Mix the Blond Absolu Concentré + Cicablond Booster. Apply Fusio Dose on each strand on lengths and ends. Detangle, no leave-in time, rinse immediately.
OR
- Take 2 pumps of Cicaflash and apply on lengths & ends with a brush. Massage, and twist. Leave it on for 3 minutes. Add water & emulsify. Rinse thoroughly.
3 – HYDRATE & PROTECT
Just like with skincare, you can layer 2% Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum with Huile Cicaextreme or Cicaplasme, to seal in the hydration, for ultimate repair.
On towel-dried hair, hydrates scalp & fiber with 2% Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum. Apply up to 7 pumps on scalp section by section, spread by massage. Apply up to 13 pumps on fiber, depending on hair lengths.
Protect hair up to 450°F with Cicaplasme or Huile CicaExtreme. Put a small amount of the product in your hand. Apply section by section throughout lengths. Don't rinse. Blow dry.

I have repurchased 4 times and recommend to everyone. I purchased the original oil and loved it and then I saw this blonding oil and had to try it. If you have thick hair that soaks up product this oil is perfect for you. It’s a bit heavier than the original which is why I think this oil is great even if you don’t have blonde hair and want that extra uv protection. I’ve tried just about every hair oil on the market and this is the only one I continue to buy. If they sold a gallon I would buy it lol!

The Huile Cicaextreme Hair Oil is the only product in the entire Blond Absolu product line that does not work for me. Tried it using the exact instructions, 2 pumps on towel dried hair from mid-lengths to ends, and it left my hair greasy and dirty looking. Tried using one pump, same outcome. My hair is highlighted, but it is naturally dark blonde/light brown, and pretty fine and limp to begin with. This made it even more limp. 2 stars because I gave it to a friend who loves it.

Favorite oil
I used like 4 bottles of this already. It’s my favorite . It leaves my hair super shiny and it really is amazing. After using this daily for a year my hair changed drastically for the better.

Hair saver!
I actually think this is the best product in the bleach blonde care line. The minute I applied it my hair felt instantly more healthy. My hair is never greasy when I use this, it just absorbs and shines. It smells great, seems to really support less breakage and helps my curly hair keep its shape. I can use a drop or two of this in the morning to restore a curl pattern and calm frizz. I’ve used a lot of hair oils, my hair is very thick and very curly and therefore prone to dryness and this is easily in the top 2 I use. It’s topped only by Verb’s Ghost oil and that’s only because ghost oil is a little less thick (and therefore a bit more versatile).

No effect and not worth the price at all
Unfortunately I am completely dissatisfied. It’s not worth the price at all. I thought it would be a replacement for 8h night serum but it’s much worse :( I would say there is no visible effect on damaged bleached hair .. comparing to night serum kerastase. The smell is also bad comparing to 8h serum. Do not recommend

Perfect weight, fresh cut look
Unbelievable silky smooth. If it wasn’t for the cost I’d dip my whole body in this! Winter dryness leaves my fine hair fly away and appear splitty when it isn’t. I have a lot of hair so too much coating leaves it looking oily and drab. It has a perfect consistency. A tiny drop after styling extends the life of the product and gives a fresh cut look on my beautiful Ombré beach wave - takes years off this 60 yo

Recommended help for hair needing moisture.
This product is a must for lightened hair. It leaves you hair silky smooth. It is really great as a moisturizer for dry ends. It also minimizes static in long hair.

Amazing oil but not as good as Elixir Ultime
Decided to try this oil because so far I love other Blond Absolu products. While this product is excellent, I still much prefer the Elixir Ultime oil for my blonde hair. It seems to soften it more without weighing it down (I have thin hair, but a lot of it) and it smells better than this oil. I would recommend Elixir Ultime over Cicaextreme!

A Lovely Surprise
Use it at night and it’s awesome it doesn’t weigh hair down or make your hair oily. Also I use it if I’m in a rush and slept with my hair up in a twisted pony, it makes your hair shine and It smells so good!

Blown away by the Huile Cicaextreme Hair Oil
I absolutely love the Huile Cicaextreme Hair Oil. I was blown away by how soft my ends feel compared to other brands. I like to apply it to wet hair before a blowout, and I can see a noticeable difference in the ends. It keeps my hair free of tangles without weighing my hair down.

New Favorite Hair Oil
I haven’t been using this oil long but I already love it. It is super light on my super-fine, thin hair but also seems to be very moisturizing. Can’t wait to see how it improves my hair after continued use!
