Bottle was damaged when it arrived and over half of the product leaked out. Since the new design on being refillable it is made out of cheap plastic and with arriving damaged parts started to come unglued and slip off.

Extremely impressed

Less product for the same price

I’ve been using this hair oil for years, the bottle has always been 100ml. With this new packaging (which is awkward and cheap looking and feeling) 25% of the product is gone. 75ml for the same price. 3/4 of product for the same price is insane.

Great for dry hair!

I've used this product for the last 8 years. I bought from my salon until I discovered the Kerastase website (YAY!). I love this oil. I've tried other oils, including the Curl Manifesto oil from Kerastase & other oils from other high quality brands, & they just don't add moisture to my hair like this does. I use this on my scalp all the way down to the ends of my hair when my hair is wet & when it's dry. It's also helped bring my mom's hair back to life when her hair gets super dry after getting it colored.

I've been using this product for over 10 years at the recommendation of my stylist. Summer Frizz? Forget it!

Great serum

Need heat to have good finish

I've used the Gloss Absolu for a while so I figured I should give this one a shot. PRO: It is definitely richer than Gloss Absolu Hair Oil and gives a more beautiful finish, as long as you use heat (blow dry) with it. I also love that it is a heat protectant up to 450 F itself so I can skip using my Gloss Absolu Spray Milk CON: It does not smell as pleasant as Gloss Absolu line, in my opinion.

Lifesavier

I’m so glad I invested in the larger refillable bottle of Elixir Ultime. The upfront cost was higher, but because it lasts so much longer, I can already tell it’s going to be worth it from a cost-benefit perspective once I eventually need to buy the refill. This product has honestly been a lifesaver for the lengths of my hair and my dry ends. I’m very active and work out at the gym regularly, so I wear my hair tied up almost every day. Absolutely amazing with every penny

I've used both this and the Oribe Gold Lust Hair Oil, and for my hair, this one is the clear winner. I have an oily scalp with long hair, so finding an oil that adds shine without weighing everything down is difficult. Elixir Ultime leaves my hair incredibly soft, smooth, and glossy, but it never feels greasy or heavy. Living in Miami, I also noticed that it performs much better in the humidity. Instead of seeming to disappear or lose its effect, my hair stays smooth, polished, and frizz-free throughout the day. A little goes a long way, and it gives my hair that healthy, luxurious finish without sacrificing volume. This has officially replaced my Oribe Gold Lust Oil, and I don't see myself going back.
