Very nice leave-in for curly hair. Keeps curls formed, bouncy, but moisturized. The cuticle was smoother compared to most curly hair leave-ins I've tried. Conditions without being too heavy or weighing the hair down. I was surprised the curls were somewhat formed after a nights sleep. Recommend!

not loving this

i do not like the scent of this line. it is a very average curl creme that i am trying to use up so i can buy a different one. doesn't give much hydration. my boyfriend likes it and he has thick straight hair

Best leave in for curly hair I’ve ever tried

I’ve tried out a lot of different brands for fine curly/wavy hair, even the ones exclusively specialized in curly hair care, and none of them performed as well as this product. Thats my holy grail! It keeps my curls in place and my frizzy hair under control. The scent is not too strong and you don’t need to use a lot of product, at least not in my case!

Does not hit the spot

Product ingredients

Friends raved about this product and was about to purchase until I saw the ingredients. It’s advertised with manuka honey which is very beneficial but was bummed when I saw it at the bottom of the ingredients list which means there is not a lot in there and the first few ingredients (usually the most in the bottle) was water, alcohol and seed oil….as good as my friends made it sound not sure if it’s worth the money no matter how well it works.

The cap, container needs improvement.

The only issue is the container. The hair cream is "slippery"and the screw cap top on the bottom of the container is a pain. If only they made this with a flip top cap, or even such a small purse size that would be portable, refillable, and have an easy to use cap!

makes a difference

My hair stylist recommended this product to me. It makes SUCH a difference. I use it with Gelée Curl Contour Gel-Cream and the combo really defines my curls. The curls also hold over night which doesn't happen without using these. It has a mild tropical smell. While not my go-to scent, I like it. It's not overpowering.

This is soooo good for softening my thick, coarse (really wirey), curly hair. I have never found a product that controls frizz like this! It can relax loose curls so probably best for medium to tight coils.

C’est la première fois que je trouve une crème et une gamme de produits aussi bien adaptée à mon type de cheveux ( métisse indienne). La crème les hydrate tout en les gardant légers et prépare bien la boucle. Le parfum est délicat et sensuel. Je suis très sensible au parfum des produits et là c’est tout simplement un plaisir sensoriel. J’ai enfin arrêté de me lisser les cheveux car je supporte très bien leur texture grâce à cette gamme . Ils sont doux aériens et la frisure est très jolie

I have never used a hair cream like this. It moisturizes my hair without buildup, which is very important to me because I have low-porosity hair. the only hair care i will splurge on

i always swore i would never be someone who buys pricey haircare but this product changed my hair in a way i could never imagine. most leave-ins or curl creams have weighed my hair down and made my curls fall flat. it is so moisturizing and lightweight. my sister received a sample packet of this but gave it to me since she doesn’t have curly hair. my hair haas legitimately never looked so good! i swear this is the only curl cream i will ever buy again. i am truly amazed at how this cream makes my bleached and damaged hair look and feel so healthy and shiny and soft!

My newest staple

It's been a constant search to find the ONE product to obtain manageable hair without a heavy coating. I have waist length, fine, wavy to soft curly natural gray hair that I prefer to air-dry as it's more prone to split ends and breakage when I do a blowout, even with heat protection products and using a cool air setting or the lowest heat setting on a flat iron. So, this product is exactly what I needed for achieving the light texture with body and more defined shiny waves and curls while combating wispy fly aways and flat roots. I'm so glad I found this!!

I couldn’t be happier! I’ve struggled to find curly hair products my entire life, most products either leave my hair frizzy and dry or weighed down and oily. After using the Curl Manifesto Bain Hydration Douceur Shampoo as well as the Fondant Hydration Essentielle Conditioner my hair was super soft and light-weight. I then used the Crème De Jour Fondamentale leave-in and defused it and my curls were so bouncy and soft! So, a little about how I style, after rinsing the conditioner out I typically wrap my hair up in a t-shirt because I find using towels makes my hair frizzy. After leaving my hair up for a few I take it down and just apply the leave-in generously just combing it through with my fingers. After that I flip my head down and start scrunching away. Then I defuse it! My hair was so bouncy, soft, and hydrated! It didn’t leave it crunchy or oily what so ever! It also smells so good and continues to smell amazing throughout the day, even after sleeping! I couldn’t be happier honestly. ❤️
