Great for fine, thinning hair!

This has significantly reduced the breakage I have due to my hair being so fine and bleached. I’ve never had a shampoo be able to detangle! It’s so silky and nourishing. I highly recommend!

Finally, healthy hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this product line for over a year and it has truly made a difference. I’ve always had fine hair, but a lot of it. Then came menopause, which caused thinning, especially in the temple area. I am using the shampoo, conditioner, and the leave in conditioner. I alternate this shampoo/conditioner with the densifique shampoo/conditioner. Will I ever have amazingly thick hair, no, but I am happy with the results. The hair around my temples seems to be growing longer and overall my hairi looks shiny and healthy. I’m a fan and will conintue to purchase this brand.

Génesis Shampoo-Great & revitalizing

Worth to get the genesis line

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have long, thick, wavy, dry, color treated hair and I use this shampoo every time I wash my hair. The shampoo itself shimmers and I love to think its adding light reflection to my hair. Yes, it is pricey, but a little goes a long way. It has sulfates and does produce fine suds, so if you arent into that for your hair you may want to pick something else. I feel that my hair doesn't tangle as much as it used to prior to using kerastase and I do feel like it is healthy and shiny. My absolute favorite part though- the smell is DIVINE. It borders on nice perfume but understated. I have never gotten so many comments on how nice my hair smells. Its worth a try!

Nice Shampoo

Unfortunately, this shampoo did nothing for my falling, post menopausal hair, but it is nice smelling and fairly moisturizing (though there are others with the same qualities that cost less). Wish it was sulfate free.

First of all, the scent is so fresh and light. I honestly can't describe it, I just know it smells amazing. I kept getting whiffs of it in my hair the next day and was completely obsessed. The lather is rich, creamy, and feels super luxurious. I used way more than I needed, but lesson learned: a little goes a long way. Even though the bottle is smaller, it should last a while because you really don’t need to use much. After just one wash, my hair felt so soft and looked so good—even without straightening (yes, I air-dried it!). I was shocked my hair wasn't frizzy! Can we take a second to appreciate the packaging? 😍 It feels great in your hand, and when you're running low, you can flip it upside down so you get every last drop. The shampoo itself smells nice, but not overpowering. I feel like it leaves my hair feeling nice and healthy and hydrated, but not weighed down. I do like the twist off cap. It makes it easy to disperse. I also experience zero scalp irritation. My go to used to be Nexxus, but it would always make my scalp flake and this gives me a similar experience without the flaking scalp.

Overly greasy hair the next day

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was fortunate to have received this product for free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. Although incentivized, my reflection of Kerastase Bain Nutri-fortifiant Shampoo and mask has not been compromised. I have straight, 1B type hair, color treated, healthy but some heat damage. I absolutely love the smell of this shampoo and mask! Oddly enough, It reminds me of the pink Chanel tendre perfume mixed with Irish Spring Soap. It’s a very fresh fragrance and strong. I love the strong smell but I know others may be sensitive to it. The fragrance does last in my hair until wash day. Now, wash day does come sooner and that’s why I knocked a star down. I’ve used this product for a good month before reviewing and I get the same results every single time- greasy hair! I’ve shampooed only the roots of my hair, double cleansed, and rinsed extra. I’ve used small amounts of the mask on just the ends, and extra rinses. I always get greasy hair on day TWO that looks like I went a good 4-5 days without washing. So, this formula is very hydrating and smells beautiful, but I will not be purchasing again.

I didn’t notice a difference in the shower itself, but I did see a reduction in breakage during styling. The vast majority of breakage happens in the shower for me, so I expect results may change for the better in the mid-long term. The product itself has a slightly thinner texture than the shampoo that I am used to, but that shouldn’t detract from its fortifying capabilities at all.

A scalp cleanse!

I also typically get tangles pretty easily especially when I’m outside more in the humidity, so I was excited to try this new shampoo. It felt very gentle and smooth during application on my scalp, and then my hair brushed out much easier overall. I let it sit and soak in for a few minutes before working it all the way through. It's just so good

It smells like a fancy spa and it does linger. The lather is luxurious and soft. And it makes my scalp feel so clean but not stripped and dry. Hydrating Shampoo

I've never tried this Kerastase Bain Nutri-Fortifiant Shampoo but I enjoyed other products from the brand in the past. The shampoo is thick with a slight shimmer. It looks pretty and the packaging is sturdy. It has a strong flowery fragrance so people with allergies or sensitivities may not want to use it. The shampoo removed dirt and residue from my scalp and hair. It had a frothy texture when applied with water and cleansed without leaving my hair feeling stripped or dry. It has some slip which allowed me to finger-detangle my strands and separate my curls. I washed twice before using a mask from the brand. The combination left my hair looking and feeling soft and moisturized. It is a little pricey but a little goes a long way. I will continue using it and may consider purchasing it in the future.

I’m used to shampooing twice, once to get the grime out, twice for a clean and sudsy feel. With this shampoo I just cleanse once and get a great clean feeling. Super sudsy - nice scent, would highly recommend!!

Rejuvenates dry and brittle hair within 2 uses

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Kérastase Genesis Bain Nutri- Fortifiant Shampoo for several weeks now. I absolutely love the smell as it reminds me of salon quality products. A quarter sized amount goes a long way even for my long thick hair. After using this product twice a week, I can feel and see the difference in my hair. It’s shinier, smoother, and looks vibrant. My split ends aren’t as noticeable anymore. Definitely worth the splurge if you’re looking for a product that will rejuvenate dry, brittle hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am African American with coarser thick hair. I currently have a relaxer, but i always look for thick moisturizing products to maintain luster. This kerastase genesis shampoo is it. It smells amazing, like a hair perfume. Wash your eyes because it will burn the heck out your eyes if it gets in. It gave good luster to my hair, and from the thickness, I know it will help maintain moisture. It cleansed my hair without drying out my hair. I hate that I love it because now i will be forced to spend the coins on it

Amazing!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this hair shampoo. I have dry hair from years of hair coloring and heat damage from hair styling tools. This product adds moisture without feeling heavy. My hair feels soft and smooth. The scent has a beautiful hint of rose and bergamot (my faves), but overall has woody, citrus notes. Claims to have less hair fall due to breakage from brushing, and I think that’s partially true, my hair still falls but definitely less than before. The only down point is that it is on the pricier side. However, a little bit of product is needed and I have long hair.

Smells good shampoo

Great Shampoo for Damage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I like Kerastase products, I’m not generally a huge fan of their scents. This fortifying shampoo seems to have a more pleasant scent than many of their products. It’s a soft floral with a very faint underline medicinal scent. So far this product has worked great on cleansing my hair. It lathers up decently and seems to rinse clean. My hair does not feel stripped or unclean after using this product. I’ve only used this in conjunction with the fortify mask, but both items combined have left my hair, feeling soft manageable, and I think have less breakage, it’s a little early to tell on breakage. Five out of five stars for the product three out of five stars for the scent.

Cleans Gently, Smells Fresh and Foams Well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Kérastase Genesis Bain Nutri-Fortifiant Shampoo together with the Genesis Masque Reconstituant Hair Mask for the past several weeks, and I really like this duo. The shampoo foams well, cleans gently, and leaves my hair feeling soft and nourished without being heavy. I love the fresh scent that matches the mask. You don't need much product, just a small amount works really well. The packaging is nice, though it comes with a screw top, which might not be everyone's favorite, but for me it's not an issue. Overall, it's a bit pricey but worth the value for the results. As for hair fall, l've noticed a slight improvement, but I think I'll need to keep using it for a few more months to see the full results.

Great scent, long-lasting shampoo

I’ve been buying this shampoo at my salon for 3-4(?) years now. Just a little goes a long way, so this lasts me much longer than grocery store (or less expensive salon shampoos.) It does a great job on my highlighted hair, and I love the scent! Kerstasse changed the scent on my previous shampoo, so I could no longer use it (terrible change, people - my stylist said they had many complaints!) However, I’ve found my new regular shampoo - PLEASE don’t change it! The conditioner is fantastic as well!
