Smells amazing!

I am a huge lover of almost all things Kerastase, so this was an exciting opportunity to test out a specific product line of theirs that I had not yet tried. I felt this shampoo did an excellent job of cleansing my scalp and hair. It was left feeling strong and supple. It is a clarifying and fortifying shampoo that excels in both regards. The light fragrance was pleasant and not cloying. I will continue to purchase Genesis in the future and I see myself switching on and off between this and the Kerastase Nutritive line to ensure I'm getting a nice balance of protein and moisture in my hair. Kerastase is the very best in haircare. This Genesis formula is no exception. I highly recommend it!

It’s described for “normal to oily, weakened hair that is prone to falling due to breakage from brushing” which I think is totally accurate. I have thin, fine hair and I’m 10 months postpartum so I’ve been experiencing a lot of hair fallout. After using this shampoo and conditioner regularly, I do think it has helped reduce some fallout and keeps my hair feeling clean, soft, and smelling nice between washes. I like using clear shampoos as they help clarify and clean well. The conditioner is lightweight but conditions enough for my hair type. Both have a twist cap that you need to remove completely to dispense the product, which I find a bit strange for high end shampoo/conditioner since it slips easily out of your hands when wet in the shower. Otherwise the packaging is sleek and looks fancy. The scent is perfume-y floral but doesn’t last on the hair.

Clean and clear texture and smells great

I’ve been using this product for over a month. I have long hair that’s naturally thin and straight and also because of aging it falls out a lot. I have not noticed a difference in less hair falling out. However, it smells delicious and my hair looks nice after I wash it, but that’s the case with most this brand. I will continue to use until product is finished.

A little went a very long way — though I’d gone several days without washing, I didn’t need to double-wash to feel thoroughly clean, which helps make the price feel worth it. Maybe I’m picky, but the lid went flying across my shower the first time I opened it! I’d prefer if this had a pump! Anyway, product is good, but not great. I had always heard that the brand Kerastase is excellent. the formula it's smooth, and with this shampoo, I only needed a small amount. I like to massage it for a few minutes to clean my scalp properly and ensure the shampoo does a good cleaning. After the shower, my hair tends to fall out when I try to detangle it, and quite a bit comes out. However, with this shampoo, the hair loss has decreased a bit more. It's not a huge change, but the difference is noticeable, and I'm very happy with the results.

Obsessed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am obsessed with Kersastase products. Others have tried to de influence me and steer me away but it only makes me love this brand more. If you want to love your hair again you must try this shampoo. I have a love hate relationship with my hair but after using this shampoo for the past week I am obsessed and don’t think I will be using anything else any time soon. My hair has never looked or felt better. And for the price you won’t find anything else like this. Absolutely in love

I also have long, thin hair. This shampoo made my scalp FEEL clean but yet my hair looked/felt hydrated and looked flawless. The smell is sooo good! It’s light, but makes your hair smell “expensive”. Small amount is enough for my hair that’s below my hips.

Cleans hair, smells good

Perfect shampoo
