Instantly shinier smoother hair

Best find ever

I have fine thin hair, I constantly have to take care of it with different hair products/hair treatments in order to avoid split ends, and to keep it hydrated and healthy. I got a sample of the Ashita Supreme Hair Mask, and I liked so much that I decided to buy it. It is a concentrated gel-ish mask that clearly heals the hair. I do see benefits on using this product. It smells like perfume and citrus, perhaps not my favorate fragrance but it's a clean intense fragrance anyways, it's not a big deal that it's not my favorite.

A little goes a long way!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I noticed about this mask is its' clear, light gel texture, very different from a creamy mask in both consistency and application. It is not sticky or greasy. I was surprised it was rich in light of the texture. The scent is heady and spalike. There is patchouli but with atypical supporting, sweeter woodsy notes. It lingers a bit on my hair after the treatment. It doesn't take much product to get results, maybe a tablespoon or two is more than enough, even on my waist-length hair. Hair feels thicker and stronger after use and less dry. There is some frizz and flyaway reduction without hair feeling weighed down or greasy.

Made my dried out hair like silk

Great product

This worked especially well on my daughters hair, she's an avid swimmer, and the chlorine really damages her hair. After using this product on her hair her hair no longer felt dry and brittle. Soft Hair

My hair has never felt so smooth and silky! shu uemura Ashita Supreme Mask and Serum was received as a free product to sample and give my honest review. A few things about it: 1) The container doesn't have directions on it so make sure to read the box it comes in before trying. 2) There is a menthol smell and tingly that occurs when you put on your hair. It feels absolutely incredible and I loved the smell. Not overpowering at all. 3) Make sure to leave in for full amount of time. Your hair will thank you for using this! 4) Set up a date night because you are going to look and feel like you just went to the salon after using this product!

Strong on scent but weak on moisture

I have curly hair that loves moisture and while I wanted so badly to love this, but I just don't. I used the product muktiple times hoping for a good result but was left with the same lackluster results after each use. It has a very strong scent and didn't leave my hair feeling moisturized or soft. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this and will not be adding this to my personal haircare routine.

Pretty Good

Fortunately, the ingredients list isn't too complicated and I did get some nourishment for the length of my hair. The masque wasn't overly thick and had a little slip which helped with detangling.

The mask my hair needed

This mask made my hair feel soft and way less frizzy. My hair also had a nice shine to it. Unlike other masks I have tried that made my hair heavy, this one didn't weigh my hair down and I didn't have that greasy feeling. My only complaint would be the smell. It smells like a men's cologne or deodorant. Although that hasn't stopped me from using it. I would recommend you give it a try.

Salon quality and great results!

But also less expensive brands have great hair masks too. I think this hair mask would appeal to those who like salon quality products for sure. The Ashita Supreme Mask is moisturizing and had my hair feeling light as air. I was legit shocked at how light my hair felt. For reference i have curly hair. The scent smells like a higher end salon, a little more masculine for my personal taste but its still a really nice fragrance. This is a great mask, ill enjoy using it but wont likely repurchase because i can get similar results for less price and the scent is not my preference.

Silky hair with volume

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this mask several times before writing this review because it feels unlike any mask I have ever used and it tamed my hair in ways I could not think possible. The mask has a cream gel texture that you apply from root to tip. It smells very unisex and clean, a little citrusy. The minute I rinsed my hair felt like silk, so smooth. I styled my hair as usual and my hair had volume, it wasn't weighed down at all. My hair was shiny and disciplined for 2 days without frizz. It didn't make my scalp greasy or dry. I love this mask, it transformed my hair.

It is not too heavy and not too light, just right to not be overbearing or noxious. It is a soft cream and goes on easily while in the shower. I combed it through my hair and then waited 5 minutes before rinsing. My course, dry, frizzy, half curly half wavy hair came out so soft and frizz free not one not two but three times that I have tried it so far. It will now be a weekly hair mask for me! Depends on your Hair Type

Sadly, each time I used this product, it kind of made my hair regress. I have a lot of hair but it's tons of fine strands, so my hair might not be right for this product. My hair definitely felt weighed down when using. I would not recommend to anyone with a similar hair type, possibly someone with more compatible hair.

Amazing Scent

I have noticed that my hair has felt stronger, healthier and more hydrated after using it a few times. One thing I don't like about the mask is the product container. At first glance it is very professional and rich looking, but it is virtually impossible to open when your hands are wet in the shower!! And so slippery I almost dropped it several times. The mask goes on smoothly and is easy to spread throughout my hair. You are supposed to wait 5 mins before rinsing it out which is always a little challenge for me, but I shave or wash up while waiting. Overall I would add this to my hair routine to keep my ends from feeling so dry and stressed.

Strengthened My Hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have very dry and fine hair as a result of years of heat styling and chemical treatments. Within the last few years, I have been trying to restore my hair a minimize harsh treatments. I incorporate masks as part of my new hair care routine. The Shu Uemura Ashita Supreme Mask has been a good addition for strengthening my hair specifically. I have noticed less breakage and reduced split ends. Please note that this mask is not as hydrating as other masks. You may still need some sort of detangler after use. This isn't the case with every mask I have used, but with this one, I do find I need a detangler still after use. The fragrance is a bit on the stronger side, and more like a masculine-leaning cologne smell which is not my favorite, but also doesn't linger in my hair. If your hair holds fragrance, I would recommend smelling this before making a purchase because it is quite different than other hair products I have used.

I could do without scent for products. It didn't condition my fine hair. It did the opposite, it seemed dry after and difficult to untangle. Days later my hair was frizzier than usual.

Wanted more

All three times I used this mask, I needed much more product than I usually do for hair masks and my hair soaked it up. Smooth and supple

Instead of leaving it in for 5 minutes, I put a shower cap on over and did some housework for a few hours. When I washed I out I noticed that my curly strands were more defined, tinsel strength appeared stronger and my hair was shinier. Normally after my hair dries it becomes dry and brittle. After air drying my hair was still soft. I love this. I can't wait to see results after the 2nd and 3rd use.

Good, but masculine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok so I have to start off by saying that the fragrance of this mask is SO masculine! I gave 4 stars, but I seriously almost gave 3 because of this. I am a hair product fanatic and I LOVE fragrance in my haircare products. I can also get over the sometimes masculine scent that some of those products have, but this was like slathering on a bottle of my husband's cologne. It was so intense. Usually those scents die down and it starts to smell more feminine, but this one didn't. Ok so, as for the mask itself...I thought it was pretty decent. It instantly made my hair soft as soon as I put it on. I have very long hair, all the way down my back and it didn't take much at all to cover my hair really well. It rinsed out great and didn't feel like it was covering my body in a slick layer like some masks do when rinsed out. My hair was completely rid of tangles. It was smooth and very soft. It also seems like it made my hair a bit thicker feeling. I did put it on my roots also and I definitely won't do that next time because I was a bit oily the next day and I never get oily until around day 3. Overall, the mask is good. It works. I think over time that it would be great for my hair. But I'm just not sure how often I'll use it because of the smell. I can only imagine how terrible this would be for someone who is sensitive to scents because I can barely tolerate it and I love fragrance. So it's just really hard to say if I recommend this or not.

It is a deep Conditioner so you don't have to use it daily but I have very long dry hair so I only wash my hair about every 3 days. I recently had my hair thinned out and started to understand what it is like to have oily roots for the first time in my life. Great hydration

Smells AMAZING!!

When I first got it to try I rubbed a little in my hand to feel the consistency and it smelled like really high end perfume. It's a dark, woodsy, fresh smell. It makes my hair smell so good for 2 days. It's a unique cream gel consistency. I was worried it wouldn't be moisturizing enough for my thick, coarse hair but it was. It's a thinner consistency but still seems to moisturize and detangle. My hair felt really smooth without being weighed down. I think I left it in about 5 minutes each time I've used it and that's worked out great so far. I'll be purchasing this because the smell is just so amazing and it gets the job done.

I am a devoted Kerastase hairline user so I was skeptical to try something new but this is just as good if not better than Kerastase masks. I use the Discipline, Blond Abslou, and Nutritive masks from Kerastase depending on the needs of my hair at that time, but after using this I am pretty sure I could use this and only this for everything. My hair loved it. It left my locks so shiny, silky, and soft and it smells great too! Very impressed with their products so far!

Amazing hydration and smoothness

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mask has concentrated ingredients to smooth and hydrate the hair. The deep conditioning mask was lightweight and easily absorbed by the hair. It did not weigh my hair down but left it very smooth and shiny. It had great slip and a smooth consistency. It smelled amazing.

Nice hair mask

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent this as a sample in exchange for my opinion. I really enjoy using this mask once a week. It smells soooo good. Maybe a little on the masculine side, but I think it's great. It leaves my hair super soft and shiny without feeling like it's weighed down. It's definitely too heavy for daily use, but something I will permanently add to my hair care rotation.

Smells so good!

I only left it on for a few minutes while showering and it penetrated my hair nicely. My hair was pretty easy to detangle when that's the hard part for me. My hair was moisturized!

My new go to

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have thick wavy color damaged hair. I was skeptical when I opened it because it was not thick but had a gel like consistency. It does have a strong Moroccan smell that might turn some off but I actually loved it. After using this with the styling product I ran to the website. This left my hair smooth, shiny and has to be the best product I have used yet. Now I'm obsessed and wanting to try all of the other products.

Incredible shine

New hair!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok so using this mask was like getting new hair for me. I showered and then put the mask on and left it on for like 15 minutes then washed it out. So It does smell a little like mens cologne but I didn't mind it that much. It worked better then some other masks that I have tried. After my hair dried it looked healthier and there seemed to be less flyaways. It was also softer with a shine. I would definitely recommend this hair mask.

Completely Transformed My Hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always thought my hair was pretty healthy, since I only dye it every 6 weeks or so and never expose it to heat damage. I WAS SO WRONG. I had no idea the potential my hair had until I started using this mask twice a week. My hair is now shiny, voluminous, soft and incredibly smooth without its usual frizz. Its natural wave is even more defined, which I absolutely love. I've used other hair masks before but never had these results. I highly recommend this mask if you're looking for a complete hair transformation for the better. Also, it smells divine.

Good but not the best

shu uemure Ashita Supreme hair mask

Hair shiny, but smell not great

My hair was not easy to detangle after using this mask, which I had expected it to be. I also did NOT like the smell of this- reminded me of men's cologne!

It has thick creamy texture and very little product goes a long way, it smells so amazing I almost felt disappointed when 10 minutes were up and I was hoping the scent would linger once I wash the mask off. Even while washing it out, my hair felt so different, it was incredibly smooth and silky, yet that was just the beginning of the astonishing hair transformation. Did not work great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a full sized complimentary shu uemura Ashita Supreme Mask with the serum. It made my shower very slippery after I used it. It also had a very strong scent that was more like a man's cologne. I washed my hair first with my own shampoo, then coated my hair ends and lengths with the mask for the five minutes per instructions. It did not make my hair soft like other masks I have tried. It seemed like a waste of money and I would not buy it again.

Shu Uemura's newest

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Shu Uemura products so I was thrilled to receive this free to review. The mask is more like a gel and has a very masculine scent, which I could live with. I left it on for 5 minutes but it is not silky and smooth so I could not detangle with it on. After rinsing it left a very heavy dry film on my hair that was unpleasant. For those reasons I would not buy again. I need detangling so I would use other Shu Uemura products that are more silky. This also seemed to make my frizz worse.

Dry Hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a full sized complimentary shu uemura Ashita Supreme Mask and this product was not for me. It says it's a three step. I received the mask and serum without the first step shampoo. I washed my hair first with my own clarifying shampoo. I then coated my hair ends and lengths with the mask for the five minutes per instructions. It wasn't feeling smooth like other masks I've used. It was heavily scented which I wouldn't have an issue with, but it's much too masculine for me. It smelled like my husbands cologne. I towel dried my hair and used the serum. After trying to blow dry, I discovered my hair was very dry. Could be the missing shampoo step or my hair type. I will stick with my regular routine products.
