Great shampoo for repairing dry, damaged hair whil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only reason I’m given this product 4 stars is because of the packaging once I got it it was almost all completely spilled out. I was only able to salvage it because he came in a Ziploc bag so I just dumped that in the bottle. But for the product, it worked really well on my hair. I have wavy hair and it’s super frizzy long and super damaged on my ends.. the shampoo smells good. It’s super silky and easy to work through my hair, it leaves my hair, super smooth for days and this is a product. I would definitely repurchase. However, I do feel like my hair loses volume when I use this product it doesn’t really help with volume and I’m not sure if it’s supposed to but my hair is typically voluminous ans when using this product I just don’t notice the same volume

Added shine and tamed frizz!

I don’t have crazy damaged hair to begin with but I think it added a bit more shine and tamed my frizz. My hair is air dried in both photos. It is scented but relatively mellow (I am usually sensitive to scents). I liked that it didn’t weigh down my hair. This is definitely a luxury product that looks and feels great.

The first time my friend bought shu uemera , I was not a believer and thought that this product is too overly priced and decided its not for me. The only reason I tried this now is because I got the whole set for free from influenster in exchange for my honest opinion. It came in the perfect time because I noticed my hair getting very damaged from clarifying shampoos (hard water in florida). So here is my honest review. Expensive? Yes but does wonders for your hair. It lathers well, cleans my hair well, gives it volume and shine and my hair feels hydrated without feeling greasy. I would not recommend using the shampoo and the masque in one setting unless ur hair is super dry. But i would recommend using the masque with w clarifying shampoo once per week and the regular shampoo alone once per week

My new go to for soft, clean, and great smelling h

The shampoo itself has a nice texture and lathers easily without feeling harsh. Even though it’s meant for very damaged hair, it doesn’t leave that coated or heavy feeling some repairing shampoos have. It cleans well but stays gentle, which is great if your hair is prone to dryness. After rinsing, my hair already feels smoother and less tangled than it normally would with a regular shampoo. It’s not one of those “strips everything” formulas, it leaves your hair soft and manageable before you even get to conditioner or a mask. The one downside I’d note is the packaging, the cap doesn’t feel very secure and I was expecting something better with a high end product like this. It comes in a set of three, and the shampoo lathers up beautifully like no tomorrow! The smell is as luxurious as ever, and my hair feels absolutely clean and dries very silky smooth! Impressed With Results

I have split ends and have been experiencing lots of breakage. This shampoo has definitely helped my hair look and feel better. It has a nice sweet scent and lathers easily into my hair. Bummed I can’t use

I definitely feel like it helps as I don’t have a lot of breakage. My only thing is the bottle is kinda small. I feel like it should have more product as I tend to use a lot of shampoo. The texture is like any other shampoo. Cloudy color, looks like it has glitter in it. Kind of like a gel texture. Smells really good. Smells like a high end shampoo the salons would use. The more it lathers, the more it shows how clean your hair is. My scalp doesn’t experience any irritation, etc. Rinses off well.

Very gentle for hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Left picture is with Shu Uemura shampoo, Curlsmith quenching conditioner, and Shu Uemura hair oil. Right picture is with my regular Dove shampoo, curlsmith conditioner, and AG hair leave in conditioner. Both pics show the morning after using the hair products. I have non-dyed kind of typical southeast Asian hair that is very thick. I use heat on my hair, but not all the time. However, I do use heat most days on my bangs without heat protectant. I do have an oily scalp, so I have to shampoo it every day. My go to is Dove for itchy hair and scalp because I am prone to dandruff. I used Shu Uemura shampoo, and I noticed that it is very gentle and definitely would recommend for dry, damaged hair. It just didn’t do much for my oily scalp though lol.. but it did help give me less flyaways. I paired this shampoo with the Shu Uemura hair oil, and saw good results. The morning after using this shampoo, my hair was soooo soft, SO much softer than my usual routine (Dove shampoo, Curlsmith curl quenching conditioning wash, and AG hair leave in conditioner). Love to pair it with the hair oil without using this shampoo as well. Leaves my hair feeling smooth and soft. It’s just with my type of hair, I can’t use this shampoo for more than one day without using my regular Dove shampoo because it would get too greasy. I think the best for me would be Dove, my usual Curlsmith for conditioner, then Shu Uemura hair oil.

Smells incredible and hair feels so soft!

All three products smell incredible and make my hair feel so soft and fluffy. I do think it needs to be rotated with other products or it can start to feel like it’s weighing down hair if used every single wash. Deep clean

Smells amazing!

I have quite fine hair and it leaves my hair light and soft. My new favourite! Unfortunately (because it's so expensive) this is the only shampoo/conditioner my hair likes at the moment. Both shampoo and conditioner leave my hair soft, tangle free, shiny and healthy. I've been looking for a cheaper alternative but haven't found one yet.

Works well, but the mask and oil outshine the sham

Out of the three the shampoo is the one I’d skip. It did make my hair feel less dry, the ingredients are great (including the rice extract), and the scent is very pleasant. But for the price point, I’d rather repurchase the mask and the oil. So while it works, it’s not the standout of the trio for me

I used this shampoo together with the mask and oil and I noticed a big difference in how my hair behaves. My hair often feels rough after washing because of heat damage, but this shampoo made it feel soft even before applying conditioner. It cleans well without stripping and I can feel that it helps with breakage because I see less hair snapping when I brush after the shower. My waves look smoother and not as frizzy on humid days. It feels like the first step in rebuilding my hair.
