Conditioners

Silk Bloom is a very good conditioner if you have normal hair. My daughter-in-law loves it. However, I have the best results with Yubi Blonde conditioner for my very grey (once blond) hair. I love Shu Uemura products overall!

Tames the tangles

Not A Fan

I have long, straight, fine, color-treated hair and this Shu Uemura line leaves my hair heavy, textured, and greasy. I tried multiple washes and even with extra rinsing, the results were the same. Would not recommend for my hair type. I will stick with the red line for color-treated hair. I gave two stars because I like the scent of the product and Shu Uemura products in general.

Amazing conditioner

My hair has never felt so soft and frizz-free. Within my first use my hair was already noticeably softer, less frizzy and my curls are defined sleek. This conditioner is 100000X better than any other high end product. I will recommend over and over again. Huge fan!! Paired best with the shampoo from the same line. My only issue would be when the bottle is very close to empty it is quite challenging to get the last bit of product. Other than that small detail, amazing product!!

Love this conditioner

I have been using for almost a year and I love the way it conditions my hair. I have a lot of hair but it’s fine in texture and I have been coloring it for years. I am 52 so I also have a lot of grey. I use both the shampoo and conditioner and it leaves my hair really healthy looking.

BEST I HAVE EVER USED!

I lost all my hair in the hospital in 2006. My hair was super thick and I had it colored or did low/high lights every two/three months. I could use any shampoo & conditioner. When it grew back I lost over 75% of my thickness I tried probably 30 shampoos and conditioners. I finally ended up using one. I also use over 10+ leave in's every time I wash my hair. I have tried to many to count! My hair still falls out in clumps. I got a sample of this brand in my birchbox. After I tried it, I placed an order and a week later placed another order. I have been using this for over six months and my hair is fuller, sleeker and is growing back. My right side of my hair was half as full as the left and it is catching up. I mix this with the ultimate reset. I would recommend this line for anyone who has lost their hair or has their hair colored, hair is damaged, frizzy, thin or just wants better hair. I couldn't live with it!

Saved my hair!

I was recommended this conditioner by my stylist. I have very fine but thick hair that I have been bleach/toning platinum blonde. It was totally fried and breaking off, creating some very unintentional and undesirable Betty Page bangs. I could immediately feel an improvement in my hair. After a few weeks of using this, it stopped breaking off and easily detangles. It has a very silky feel (as the name would imply).

Great scent, beware allergic reaction

I received samples of SiIlk Bloom Shampoo and Conditioner. Managed to get two uses -- used about 1 + week apart. The second time I erupted with contact dermatitis - hives? - about a day later- especially on my scalp, neck, forehead and back. Dr. suggested it was most likely a hair product, and I couldn't identify any other suspicious or different substance I had had contact with. Perhaps one of the natural ingredients is similar to some other common sensitiser? Please just get this back to the company. It is impossible from one report to say this was the culprit, but given that Shu's products are so wonderful overall, it would be a shame if one affected too many users this way.
