Oily scalp

My hair feels very hydrated, soft and silky to touch, but this shampoo was supposed to be for oily roots and dry ends, my scalp still gets oily day after wash. I like that I don’t need to much product since it’s lathers so well.

Really Works for Dandruff

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT

I started using this product a year ago due to oily hair after a day or 2 and hair fall out and my hair has gotten so much thicker and longer! I wash my hair every other day and twice a week a use the Kérastase salt scrub and mix it with a couple pumps of the Genesis shampoo and my hair has never been so much healthier, shiny and so much hair growth and no fall out! I wish I would have had taken before and after pictures of when I 1st started using Kerastase up until now. A bottle lasts me about 7 months including with conditioner I wash my hair twice in the shower 3 pumps the 1st wash and 2 pumps the 2nd wash you don’t need a lot of product because it’s very concentrated. The smell is so beautiful and fresh. I buy the same product for both my daughters too and we all have long hair. I have no grey hair my hair is naturally brown but I do color it black for the past 17 years.

Using the shampoo, conditioner and hair serum from Genesis line I was able to stop that hair fall within about 2 months, which is incredible! Lots of thick lather with a small amount of product. After a 14 day use period what I noticed most is that my long straight hair will hold a heated style longer after using Kerestase. I prefer a pump version if available.

Nice (Expensive) Shampoo

I found that it foamed up nicely and cleaned my hair well. I have fine curly hair and it didn't weigh it down - my hair did seem to be more hydrated and bouncier after use. I also noticed less fallout and breakage between washes, although this could be due to any number of reasons. The price is definitely a concern, and I'm not sure that I would repurchase.

Had high hopes

I've smelled their other products before and this smells the best by far. It lathers really nicely and my hair feels clean and shiny after using it. The packaging is beautiful but it's not the best in my opinion because you have to fully twist the cap off the dispense product. It's difficult to close that up when you're in the shower with soapy hands. For the cost, I would expect something easier. While I like this shampoo, I wouldn't personally pay full price to buy it. It doesn't do anything groundbreaking but it is a nice luxury to have.

Heavily scented product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kerestase kindly gave me this shampoo and conditioner for free so that I could review it. Both the shampoo and conditioner are heavily scented. I cannot pinpoint exactly what it smells like, but it reminds me of a men's cologne. I have no issues with scented products, but if you do not like scents, you will definitely not like this one. The shampoo turns into a nice lather, making my hair feel actually clean. However, I am disappointed in the conditioner. The conditioner feels fine, but nothing special jumps out. I wish it was more moisturizing. I have been using the products for a few weeks and have not noticed a positive or negative experience with reducing hair breakage. I do have color treated hair, so not sure if that has an effect on how the product performs. Overall, I would repurchase the shampoo because I love the scent and how easy it is to get a good lather. The conditioner is not moisturizing enough for my hair type. If you like heavily scented hair products and they sold this as a cute holiday set, I would definitely give it a try.

I have been using the shampoo and conditioner for a few weeks now. I really like the smell of the product, it is strong if you are sensitive to fragrance it might not be the shampoo for you. My hair is curly, thinner, lacks volume and I'm in my upper 20's. This shampoo has given me volume, moisture but not too much that will weigh it down. While using the shampoo, I notice that I am losing less hair which is incredible.

Clean and soft

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The smell of this line is wonderful. This makes my hair feel so clean without needing a ton of product. Leaves my hair so soft and shiny.
