The best volume shampoo
I tried so many volume shampoo in the past, most of them gave me good boost on my roots but always makes my ends dry. Kerastase bain Densite give me best of those two. Gave me boost on my root but my ends still soft and moisturized. This shampoo also gives me the longest clean scalp up to 3 days before I feel greasy. I love it. I will definitely order the bigger bottle on my next order.

This shampoo cleanses my hair so well using such a small amount. I don’t think I’ve ever had shampoo work so well. My hair doesn’t feel stripped either. I think this is why I have so much more volume in my hair! It’s volumizing and flowing! I think it’s less frizzy but could be the matching conditioner. Smells great and feels great!

My Go To once a week
One of the problems with modern medications is that they contribute to hair loss. The Densite Line has been a favorite since its introduction. I use the shampoo weekly, alternating with my other Kerastase shampoos; the spray, mask, conditioner and serums can be mixed with the other products for good results. In high stress times, I use all of the products in the collection and my hair bounces back as I do.

Changed my life
I was using Aveda since 2015. Finally switched back to this while in Las Vegas. I'd go to workout at the fitness center, walking by all the Kerastasé in the salon on the way. Finally caved and bought the shampoo and elixir oil. Now I have the conditioner, mask, mousse, to the scalp serum and more 😅😻! Can't get enough of this stuff!! Saved my fine aging hair.

Did not work for me
I have always loved Kérastase products, especially the Genesis Hydra (the pink one), which I absolutely adored. However, after experiencing significant hair fall and an oily scalp, I decided to switch to Bain Densité based on its positive reviews. Unfortunately, this product did not work for me. Initially, I gave it the benefit of the doubt, thinking it might be too soon to judge, but after a considerable amount of time, I noticed even more hair fall. Clearly, this product was not suitable for me.

SADLY, IT HAS SULFATES
At first try, I loved this product. However, I made the unfortunate assumption that a company of this caliber would not use sulfates in their products. They do list some shampoos as "sulfate free" but sadly, I recently discovered the Bain Densite Shampoo does have sulfates. Since I have had a Brazilian Blowout which can be ruined if you use a shampoo with sulfates, I will have to quit using this shampoo. I have not had it very long so it is a big waste of money for me.

Doesn't add fullness or volume
Nice shampoo, lathers, smells nice, but I don't get and fullness or added volume. I follow with the mask, but just leaves my hair soft. No extra shine either, and a bit difficult to comb out. My hair is fine.
I have to use a tiny bit of the hair oil in order to comb out. I get MUCH better results from the Regenerate line (black pkg).

This Shampoo is great for what it promises to do. I definitely saw an improvement on my hair from day one, but I also noticed that my scalp got very oily on the next day. I would suggest maybe to not use this shampoo every hair wash day but every other hair wash day.

This shampoo has helped my thinning hair. I like to think it has given my hair "the lift" it needed. As Bette Davis said, "gettibg old ain't for sissies" and this shampoo makes thinning hair seem less of a big deal.

Good product but prefer others from this brand
Bought looking for hair volume and shine. It’s a good product but will go back to my traditional one. I feel my hair lost lustre. It’s treated and maybe the reason why croma works better.

Best Shampoo for fine oily hair

Thicker hair
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this shampoo for the last 5 years and it really does bring me comfort knowing how thin is my hair. I love combining it with its mask conditioning, and when I do so I can see it noticeably as I have tons of more volume!

My hair is definitely fuller, bouncer and softer wen I use this product!! Gives it lots of body. I have thick fine hair that goes flat in drier weather but frizzes wen it's humid.

This is my first Kérastase shampoo, and I decided to purchase it after taking their Hair Quiz on the website. The quiz recommended this specific shampoo to address my hair concerns, which were hair loss and hair visibly lacking density.
