Mainly for dandruff I think
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use rogaine, derma rolling, and laser treatments on my hair so i wanted a soothing serum for my scalp but this is more for dandruff/oil control. It's helpful and I even see a lift in my roots so I like the effects. Not the purpose I bought it for but a surprisingly good result. I use this twice a week and I dont mix it with any other scalp serums since I have sensitive scalp. It works well but it is a bit thicker then I thought. It does not weigh down my hair though. Im not sure i would repurchase but I like it so far. The next day after applying the serum to shower wash hair, my hair doesnt look any different and the hair falls flat again. Hope this helps

Another Excellent Scalp Treatment from Kerastase!
I love this stuff!!! I am a huge fan of Kerastase scalp products! I actually got a sample of this with another order, which had enough for two uses for me. I instantly fell in love. It has a very soothing, cooking effect on my scalp. Plus it doesn’t make my hair oily at all. Just plain makes my scalp health feel on it! It’s a bit thicker than the usual hair serums, so doesn’t take much. Use with freshly washed hands/fingers a bit of oil on my ends. Hair almost down to my butt is a shiny glowing superstar🤩yet another Kerastase product to add to my fav lists :/ so many favorites I wait for sales and move it! Well worth it!

Breathe of fresh air
Finally my scalp is calm. It’s not a heavy or sticky product which is nice. It leaves you with an airy feeling. Although the fragrance is quite strong at first, it dissipates quickly. My husband loves it after a visit to the barber. Seems to sooth a fresh trim.

Horrible smell, cant take it, trough it. Love Kerastase and used lots of products for last 15 yeras, almost all of them. This is One and only Kerastase product I was not abl to use. Please change it. Also almost impossible to return products. Money to a trush.

Nice Scent, But Just Okay Results
I tried the Kérastase Potentialiste Serum and while it smelled really nice and felt pleasant to apply, I didn’t notice any major difference in my scalp or hair overall. It wasn’t bad, just not as effective as I was hoping. Probably better for someone looking for a lightweight, fragrant serum rather than targeted results.

Good product
I've used only one bottle so far so I can't tell if it works yet. However, the woman I know uses it regularly and she had amazing results. She suffered from hair loss and now she has very nice thick hair. I have big hopes for this product but I understand that it will take several months to see any results.

Interesting Product - Divine Aromatic Scent!
I rate this really as a 4.5. I'm not sure I am the perfect candidate for this, but I can say it helps with various scalp conditions. It does seem like it balance the scalp so it is more uniform in condition. In my opinion, the scent is the best of all Keratase products I have tried and use. It is uplifting, fresh, herbal with a tad of forest...It is a pleasure to use and the bottle looks very nice on my vanity. I use this in conjunction with Initialiste Scalp & Hair Serum and Bain Nutri-Fortifiant Shampoo.

Sticky & strong smell

I ordered a small bottle and the moment I opened it, the menthol smell was way overpowering and off putting. I figured maybe that will fade so I dispensed about 1-2 drops on my scalp and I immediately regretted it. It was thick and sticky and made my head and hair feel and look dirty. Nope never again !

Can't get past the awful smell
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this sample a few times and after using all the samples up, I decided to give it a consistent try and bought a bottle. I opened it and immediately didn't like the smell but I figured it wouldn't be as strong since id only be using a little at a time. Except even a little was too strong for me to ignore. Besides the smell, the texture felt thicker and made my scalp feel sticky. I used a very small amount - less than suggested to mitigate the chance for buildup. Had to wash it out that night and can't use it. I'm sad that I threw out the box & packing label when I got it so I don't think I can return it.

I'm not sure about this product

Itchy, irritated scalp
Over 6 months ago out of nowhere I started notice my scalp randomly itching, and it progressed to daily itching and dry scalp/flakes. My hair is color treated and I use multiple keratase products: I tried The 8hr serum and other scalp leave in to moisturize scalp. This is the only one that worked. I’ve been using it daily for the last week, it’s the only time I can Say that I have not caught myself randomly itching like the last 6months. This product is absolutely worth it if you’re fed up with itchy, flaky scalp.

Thank God for this Serum
I’ve been using this serum for about a month. I have struggled with what I assume is either scalp psoriasis, extreme eczema, or dandruff. (LARGE scalp flakes/peeling, redness, itchiness and pain) MUST WASH everyday and still flakes.
I started using it everyday for 2 weeks, then every other day after I wash my hair and now 2-3 times a week. It does not leave my scalp oily or dry and it actually allows me to skip a wash every other day. My flakes are gone.
I nothing I’ve tried worked in regards to special shampoos, but this did!
I highly recommend. I wish I had found it sooner.

Not for me

I am not getting the same results from the full size product I ordered. I checked several times to be sure I ordered the correct serum. The feel, and the scent do not seem consistent with the sample I received and neither are do results

Fresh and less oily!
I LOVE this serum! I have tried others from Kérastase, but this is my favorite one. I have very fine hair that gets oily within one-two days after wash. This serum prolongs my time without a wash, smells great, and leaves me feeling refreshed! Came back for seconds because I must have it in stock for weekly use!

Great Product!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since I've used it, my scalp has no longer itchy and it smells great. The container is elegant and fun to use. The only note I would have is that the opening is a little tight and when you put the pipette back in, some of the serum sticks to the screw cap, if you're not careful.

Great Product
Out of the blue I had a terribly itchy scalp. I deep conditioned a few times, stopped shampooing and finally used different products from my usual but nothing helped. After using this for about 10 days my itchiness is gone! I was concerned it might make my hair oily but it didn’t. Not only did it help my scalp it increased the volume and shine of my hair. I didn’t think the fragrance was too strong but someone with a sensitive nose may. Overall a great product!

Smells amazing!
I absolutely love this product. I wish they made this in a perfume. Scent is amazing and it helps dry scalp issues. I put it down the part of my hair and on both sides of the scalp. Then I massage it into the scalp. I was having issues with small dry flakes from dry scalp. I noticed a huge difference the first time I used this product and now have no dry scalp issues. I use once to twice a week and I would def recommend it.

Nice product, but not a cure
I ordered this serum to help me combat a dry, itchy and flaky scalp from seborrheic dermatitis. I think it helps, but it isn't a miracle product. Some positives about the serum are that it truly doesn't make your hair look greasy (I was skeptical) and that it smells lovely.

Did not help
I was very hopeful for this product as I have a few friends who use it and love it. But, it honestly made my scalp worse. My hair was more oily just a day after washing and using it.
I used it on wet hair and air dried. If there’s a better way to use it I’d love to try.

My least favorite Kerastase product
It gave my sensitive scalp relief right away I didn’t use as much as the directions say maybe two doses . The scent is overpowering not my fave . I may not be able to continue using it because of the scent it reminds me of the scent of hairspray. Kind of gives me a headache I will be washing it out tonight . Glad I got it at a discount .

Bye itchy scalp
I purchased this product because I’m prone to dandruff. My scalp is dry and always irritated. After watching vlogs and tried several tips and tricks, I came across this product and thought of giving it a try.
Finally, after a month of using it. I noticed I have less oily hair and scalp. Also not a lot of itching.

The best hair serum I've tried
I had tried a sample when my scalp felt sensitivity. I was surprised how it soothed immediately and left my hair looking great. I went out and bought a full bottle. Does not interfere with hair color or keratin. Great product!

Amazing product
I have been using this product for about a year and a half now. I started using it when I went to my hair dresser after frying my scalp. I already had an issue with dandruff but the chemical burns on my scalp made it so much worse. She recommended me this product to help with the dryness and over production of oil. It has worked absolute WONDERS on my scalp. One bottle typically lasts me about 4-6 months. I use it every time I wash my hair, which is about 2-3 times a week. Purchase!!
