Hair protector

I recently tried this serum along with the cicanuit serum and my hair is noticeably healthier, as confirmed by my stylist before I told her I tried them. I had read some reviews about this making hair feel strawlike, but I found that brushing it through my hair and then blow drying, that my hair is soft and feels stronger. This has become part of my normal hair routine - shampoo, conditioner, towel dry, genesis heat protecting spray, comb through, towel dry, hyaluronic acid serum, comb through, air/blow dry. Use the cicanuit serum at bed time if I plan to not wash my hair the following day.

Impressive product

I've been using this serum for about 3 weeks and cannot explain how strong my hair feels. I have wavy/curly hair that I hi-lite every 5 weeks. I don't typically blow dry my hair so most of my damage comes from the color process. My hair stylist recommended this to me to continue to retain moisture. I applied it the night after I had my hair done and it has been in the best condition in years!!

Nice and healing

The product is Full of great ingredients and truly heels hair from the inside out. It does not leave it quite as smooth as I would like, but definitely in the end leave the hair more healed. I absolutely love this product and combination with the chroma shampoo and conditioner.

Drying and sticky

Why, oh why, did you discontinue the blonde hair oil? It is impossible to find a hair oil for blonde hair that doesn’t darken it or make blonde hair brassy. I do not like this product. It is not a replacement or a substitute for the blonde hair oil. It is drying and sticky. Every time I use this product my hair feels coarse like straw. This is the only Kérastase product I do not love.

Really impressed, works well for my hair

I am almost done with my second bottle and am sold on this product. I have color processed hair, use my flat iron a lot and have really damaged my hair-this has brought it back to life. I use a little less vs recommendation and then do layer on the blonde absolu oil after the hyaluronic acid. I like this whole product line, truth be told.

HOLY GRAIL FOR BLONDES

This has quickly become a staple in my hair care routine!!! My damaged, bleached hair has been brought back to life by this serum!! While the price tag may cause some questioning, it is absolutely worth every penny!! Liquid gold! I did find that the suggested amount was a bit much for my hair length, and have been able to use about half the dose, and still see the amazing benefits. Love love love this stuff!!

Game Changer!

HOLY GRAIL hair care!! I have been working toward lightening my hair as many levels as possible as I love to rock pastel hair colors. When I decided to go lavender, my hair was FRIED from all the bleaching despite going slow. This has visibly changed my hair! Bada bop ba baaa I’m mclovin it

Holy grail for lightened hair. My hair drinks this serum like it’s dying of thirst and it makes a HUGE noticeable difference. I have bleached blonde hair and whenever I use this product, my hair looks and feels like virgin/original hair. It gives it so much life and softness, there’s no way I could ever skip this serum in my hair routine. The only downside about it is the packaging. It’s a struggle to get the product out of the pump and the serum itself is a runny texture so when ur trying to pump it into your hands/fingertips it almost feels like it’s spilling from between your fingers which makes it difficult to apply to your hair or scalp. Also, the size of the container is soo small, they need to really make more size options for products like this. But besides those two flaws, the actual product itself is freaking liquid GOLD. You won’t regret buying it.

Holy Grail HA Hair Serum!

Super effective but small size and expensive

Effective and calming on my scalp and not greasy. Really like how this product feels but only 3 out of 5 due to size and cost - if you follow the directions on the bottle to apply to scalp (5 to 7 doses, 1 dose=1pump), it may last only a couple weeks.

Definitely not for me

I use the entire line of Blond Absolu and love it, it changed my hair after I went blonde so I thought adding this could only make things better when you have damage. Boy was I wrong, I have used it three times and each time when I’m drying my hair I can’t get it smooth with just a blowout which I could before this product. My hair looks and feels awful when I use this so I will be taking it out of my regimen. A very expensive disappointment.

Another failed product

I was so excited for this product and followed the instructions explicitly including following it up with the Blond Absolu - my hair is soft to the touch but dry in appearance as well as frizzy. Incredibly disappointed - especially at the cost.I hope someday someone comes up with a product for porous blond highlighted hair which actually works.

Not quite certain…

I’ve used Kerastase for more than 15 yrs and have loved EVERY product I’ve tried/used. I do have my favorite products though and the list is rather long bc I believe Kerastase is the best you can buy! Unfortunately, I’m not certain I can say the same for the Hyaluronic Acid. First, I’ve used a full bottle in a few weeks, granted I was trying to be a bit conservative in my use bc of the small bottle size. The directions call for 7+ pumps, which seems a lot for such a small bottle…didn’t last very long. I couldn’t see any differences in my hair after the first few uses, nor could I after finishing the bottle. I may not have used it long enough but can’t bring myself to purchase a 2nd bottle, w/it being so small (and pricey!) and lasting only a short time, w/out signs of improvement. Bc Kerastase products are always quality, I’d still recommend trying it for yourself…everyone is different after all. It may work wonders for you, just not for me.

Really helps with damage and frizz

I just started using this as a first step on my hair, which is dry, curly, fine (but high density), and very dark but has highlights/balayage that are ash blonde near the ends. It reduces frizz, makes my hair softer and my curls more defined, and I really like that it’s one product that I can use on my lengths and my dry scalp. I have a lot of baby hairs right now (not sure if it’s breakage or new growth or a mix) and this helps with the fuzziness of those too. Although it’s pricier than the cicaplasme serum (which I also like) it’s more concentrated and I use less—sometimes I use both products if my hair is feeling particularly fried, then follow with a curl cream. I like that this is intense but also lightweight enough to layer other products over without weighing down my hair.

Not just for blonds! Amazing with dark hair!

I am Asian, and this is not just for blonds! I have a bob, and I bleach and then biolage highlight with shades of fucshia. My stylist recommended this, and it is amazing. My hair is fine (e.g. limp) and straight, but there is a slight frizz. This product has made my hair super soft and shiny. It has also added a tiny bit of bounce which I love. My stylist said to only use two pumps, and it's perfect for me. If you are reading this and not a blond, try it! It's amazing! P.S. I love Kerastase and have been using this brand for decades. I tried to love Chroma Absolu, but I cannot stand the fragrance which just lingers in the hair. Hence, I use Blond Absolu which works just as great even if you are not blond. Bleached & processed hair is just hair, not just limited to only blond hair.

Soft and shiny without being oily

My new favorite hair product?

It was definitely love at first use. And I didn’t even use it “properly”. I have very thin, super bleached (10 level lift) very curly (3c) hair and I dye it vibrant colors like neon pink, candy blue, apple green, etc. I also straighten it most of the time. So let’s say I have very demanding and specific needs when it comes to my hair. I wash my hair with Bain Chroma Respect and treat with Masque Cicaextreme. I didn’t apply the Serum on my hair BEFORE my Cicaplasme. What I did was: I blowdried my hair straight with Ciment Termique and then applied Cicaplasme to finish straightening my hair with the flat iron. After that I applied Huile Cicaextreme AND THEN I finished my hair with the 2% Hyaluronic Acid Serum. I was amazed at how fast it absorbed and instantly felt SO soft and SO healthy as I’ve probably never felt my hair before. All other products where already a part of my routine and it was good. But the Serum made my hair EXCELLENT. Also I noticed my hair lasted actually very straight for days. I’m extremely impressed, Kérastase you did it again. Been a fan for years, before Blond Absolu line even existed, this is the best product of the line so far. A MUST for hair with very extreme needs.

Not what's best for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this from Buzzagent for an honest review. For me, it was not a good product. It turned my hair hard, as if I put on a lot of hair spray. At the end of the day I and white dried specks as if I had put glue in my hair and was peeling it off. Now, I didn't not like it personally, but it might be good for you. Just take it as a grain of salt.

Great but pricey

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have fine, thin hair and I am quite weary of products that have to be applied at the scalp as those usually weigh my hair down and make it greasy. This Kerastase product really surprised me, as it has the opposite effect - it gives my hair a little bit of "crunch" which helps it hold volume better. The reason for not giving this a perfect score is the price. The instructions say to use an absurd amount of product - 7 pumps for the scalp and 7 more for the length. I was my hair every 5-7 days and after a month I've used up almost half of the bottle. Given the cost this unfortunately will not be something I repurchase, even though I really like how it works on me. At that rate it's just not sustainable. I do wish this came in a larger bottle.

Amazing Magic Serum.

This product is awesome . I have long natural Curley hair which I blow out straight . It tends to get dry on the ends . I apply the serum after I wash and dry my hair and it is amazing . My hair shines and it helps with the frizz . I love this serum.

I was amazed after my first use of this product. I immediately noticed my hair had more body , shine , it was just different. Please keep in mind I use good products, so to notice a difference says something. After I one use I had my house cleaned. To my dismay I cannot find this product. I immediately ordered another. It works!!

I get my hair cut & have new split ends almost as soon as I leave the salon. Initially, I was a little afraid it would make my hair greasy, but it didn't. Ayant les cheveux très sensibilisés par mes nombreux balayages, shampoings bleu. Après application je constate un résultat directement mes cheveux sont plus souples, hydratés je peux espacer de deux semaines mon shampoing bleu. l’application se réalise très facilement pour ma part aucun fini gras sur mes cheveux. Et le gros côté positif pas besoin de le rincer.

[Cet avis a été recueilli en réponse à une offre.] Pépite , je l’ai utilisé sur ma perruque que j’ai décoloré. Il a laissé les cheveux soyeux, l’odeur agréable, non gras et la coloration est plus éclatante. A tester sur de vrai cheveux mais je pense que le rendu doit être le même même

This might be my favorite Kerastase product! My hair looks and feels amazing - so silky and healthy! I was worried that it would make my hair look greasy but that hasn’t been the case at all! I’ve noticed so much more volume at the roots even when I let my hair air dry!

Perfect for blondes

Amazing, moisturizing, worth the price!!

Ms, if I use even the slightest bit too much, it will make my hair look greasy and oily, but this serum does not do that. My Scalp feel moisturized and after just a few uses I can already see the difference in my hair. It's more moisturized and looks less damaged. I 100% recommend this product to anyone with bleach damaged hair and even anyone with any color hair that is damaged. This serum is 100% worth the price. You won't be disappointed!!

Wonderful hydration

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have blonde, color-treated hair and regularly have to use serums for extra hydration. I used this serum on my towel dried hair and let it process for a few minutes. Once I styled my hair I felt like my scalp was better hydrated and didn't feel stripped. My hair also looks better including shiny which is sometimes an issue since my hair is on the drier side due to coloring and heat. Overall this is a great product for hydration and shine and I received compliments on my hair when it was styled. This product was gifted for my review.
