MUST have for postpartum hair!!

A little goes a long way and the smell is glorious

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have long, thick, wavy, dry, color treated hair and I use this hair mask in place of conditioner every time I wash my hair. It's very thick and a little goes a long way! I usually comb it through my hair with a wide tooth comb, leave it in for 2 minutes, and rinse out. My hair doesn't tangle as much as it used to prior to using kerastase and I do feel like it is healthy and shiny. My absolute favorite part though- the smell is DIVINE. It borders on nice perfume but understated. I have never gotten so many comments on how nice my hair smells. It is pricey, but it lasts a while since its more thick and concentrated than most conditioners. Its worth a try!

I feel like I just stepped out of a salon. I have naturally wavy hair that usually turns into a frizz fest when I air-dry, but after using this mask, ZERO FRIZZ. What kind of magic is this?? The texture is super rich and creamy. You only need a tiny bit. It melts right into your hair. It doesn’t really have a scent, which I honestly didn’t mind (sometimes no scent is a vibe). Overly greasy hair the next day

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was fortunate to have received this product for free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. Although incentivized, my reflection of Kerastase Bain Nutri-fortifiant Shampoo and mask has not been compromised. I have straight, 1B type hair, color treated, healthy but some heat damage. I absolutely love the smell of this shampoo and mask! Oddly enough, It reminds me of the pink Chanel tendre perfume mixed with Irish Spring Soap. It’s a very fresh fragrance and strong. I love the strong smell but I know others may be sensitive to it. The fragrance does last in my hair until wash day. Now, wash day does come sooner and that’s why I knocked a star down. I’ve used this product for a good month before reviewing and I get the same results every single time- greasy hair! I’ve shampooed only the roots of my hair, double cleansed, and rinsed extra. I’ve used small amounts of the mask on just the ends, and extra rinses. I always get greasy hair on day TWO that looks like I went a good 4-5 days without washing. So, this formula is very hydrating and smells beautiful, but I will not be purchasing again.

good conditioner

I didn’t notice a difference in the shower itself, but I did see a reduction in breakage during styling. The vast majority of breakage happens in the shower for me, so I expect results may change for the better in the mid-long term. The product itself has a slightly thinner texture than the conditioning masks that I am used to, but that didn’t detract from its fortifying capabilities at all.

She’s got the whole package

I would absolutely recommend this one ~ when using it in the shower it wasn’t sticky at all. It smoothly applied to my hair and then washed out easily. After using a few times, I definitely feel like it’s effective with lasting hydration. My curls felt and looked very happy ~ my roommate even commented. Blown away by how good this is!

A little goes a long way, that’s for use and it left my hair shiny, smooth and tangle free the moment I used this in the shower. I love the soft subtle scent either. I used this directly after shampooing with their shampoo and I like the viscosity of the mask. It is thick which tends to penetrate my hair more easily. My hair is very coily and gets extremely dry. Using this mask allowed me to add moisture back to my follicles, however, it does not have as much slip as I'd like. I worked it through my curls and finger-detangled before using a wide-tooth comb to further detangle my hair. I usually do this process and the mask softened my hair but it still required effort to detangle fully. I ended up having it on my hair for longer than the recommended five minutes. It rinses away easily and my hair looked and felt soft and hydrated. I finished with my usual styling products before putting it in two-strand twists to air dry. Overall, it is a good mask that works relatively quickly. It has a very perfumed scent (flowery) so people with allergies or sensitivities may not like it. I didn't mind and it seemed to dissipate over time. It's a little on the pricey side but on par with many masks.

Kerastase

It makes my hair feel soft, smooth, and easier to detangle without weighing it down. Took off 1 star because I’m still trying it out, but so far, so good.. excited to see how it keeps working with more use!

Amazing

Instant hair recovery and smells great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Kérastase Genesis Masque Reconstituant and it’s quickly become a favorite in my regular haircare routine. The texture is rich and creamy and it spreads easily through damp hair. I like that a little goes a long way, so even though the jar isn’t huge, it lasts. After rinsing, my hair feels instantly softer, smoother, and noticeably stronger. I can really see the color of my hair shining brighter. The scent is fresh and salon quality. I’ve been using this product once a week and I’ve noticed less breakage and my hair looks healthier overall. Definitely worth the splurge if you’re looking for a strengthening and nourishing mask.

Smells amazing

This kerastase genesis mask is it. It smells amazing, like a hair perfume. It gave good luster to my hair, and from the thickness, I know it will help maintain moisture. I hate that I love it because now i will be forced to spend the coins on it routinely.

Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love a good hair mask! This one hits the major points when I am searching for a hair mask. Love that my hair feels soft and conditioned after use. I do enjoy the scent of woody citrusy notes, it’s my fave. The only thing I would say I’m not fond of, is the packaging and how you have to scoop out product, it’s just not my preference. Price is on the higher end but worth the value as I only use the product once a week and there is plenty to last me a few months!

They Had Me With the Pink Packaging

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m in love with this hair mask. This is a deep mask that softens and strengthens hair. It has a nice thick texture and seems to coat your hair strand by strand. While I am not the biggest fan of the Kerastase line scents generally, this smells good (soft floral, not offensive with a slight chemical smell). It’s not offensive but also not “I just stepped out of the salon”. I feel like I have noticed very slight less breakage on my color treated hair from using this for the last 4 weeks but not a huge difference. It works great as a deep moisturizer and I will continue to use it on my straight coarse thick color treated hair.

worth the hype

Fresh Scent, Soft Hair, Worth the Value

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Kerastase Masque Reconstituant Hair Mask for the past several weeks together with the Kerastase Genesis Bain Nutri-Fortifiant Shampoo, and I'm very happy with the results. First, Ilove the scent of this mask, it's fresh and uplifting, with notes of bergamot and lime. The formula hydrates and nourishes my hair beautifully, leaving it silky, soft, and healthy-looking. I also appreciate that it only needs to stay on for up to 5 minutes, unlike other masks that require 10-15 minutes. The packaging is also a plus-the soft pink color looks elegant and adds a nice touch to my shelf. Another great thing is that you don't need to use much product; just a small amount is enough to get great results. As for hair fall, I think l've noticed a slight improvement, but l'll need to use it for a few more months to truly see the results. While it is a little bit on the pricey side, I think it's a good value considering the quality and how little you need to use each time. Overall, it's a wonderful mask that leaves my hair feeling nourished, soft, and manageable. l'd definitely recommend it.
