Hair is so Soft!

I have been loving this mask. It makes my hair very soft, and gives my hair a nice slip while blow drying. I usually blow dry my curly hair and my hair looks smoother and feels softer after blow drying. Another nice element is hair smells very nice, fragrance is subtle so you don’t get sick of it and stays on hair for a couples days.

Strong smell and questionable benefits

I've always loved the shampoo and daily conditioner I use from Kérastase not only for how my hair feels and performs but also because the scent is very mild. I was SO disappointed with, what appeared to me, as a very strong flower smell. I've now used the Genesis Masque twice and both times I've had people ask me what perfume I'm wearing (and asking as if they aren't happy with the smell). How embarrassing! And, while I kept the product on for at least 5 minutes each time there was absolutely no difference in how my hair performed or felt compared to the daily conditioner! And this product was expensive! So yes, I'm disappointed.

Worth the price

A little goes a long way and the smell is glorious

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have long, thick, wavy, dry, color treated hair and I use this hair mask in place of conditioner every time I wash my hair. It's very thick and a little goes a long way! I usually comb it through my hair with a wide tooth comb, leave it in for 2 minutes, and rinse out. My hair doesn't tangle as much as it used to prior to using kerastase and I do feel like it is healthy and shiny. My absolute favorite part though- the smell is DIVINE. It borders on nice perfume but understated. I have never gotten so many comments on how nice my hair smells. It is pricey, but it lasts a while since its more thick and concentrated than most conditioners. Its worth a try!

I feel like I just stepped out of a salon. I have naturally wavy hair that usually turns into a frizz fest when I air-dry, but after using this mask, ZERO FRIZZ. What kind of magic is this?? The texture is super rich and creamy. You only need a tiny bit. It melts right into your hair. It doesn’t really have a scent, which I honestly didn’t mind (sometimes no scent is a vibe). Overly greasy hair the next day

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was fortunate to have received this product for free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. Although incentivized, my reflection of Kerastase Bain Nutri-fortifiant Shampoo and mask has not been compromised. I have straight, 1B type hair, color treated, healthy but some heat damage. I absolutely love the smell of this shampoo and mask! Oddly enough, It reminds me of the pink Chanel tendre perfume mixed with Irish Spring Soap. It’s a very fresh fragrance and strong. I love the strong smell but I know others may be sensitive to it. The fragrance does last in my hair until wash day. Now, wash day does come sooner and that’s why I knocked a star down. I’ve used this product for a good month before reviewing and I get the same results every single time- greasy hair! I’ve shampooed only the roots of my hair, double cleansed, and rinsed extra. I’ve used small amounts of the mask on just the ends, and extra rinses. I always get greasy hair on day TWO that looks like I went a good 4-5 days without washing. So, this formula is very hydrating and smells beautiful, but I will not be purchasing again.

good conditioner

I didn’t notice a difference in the shower itself, but I did see a reduction in breakage during styling. The vast majority of breakage happens in the shower for me, so I expect results may change for the better in the mid-long term. The product itself has a slightly thinner texture than the conditioning masks that I am used to, but that didn’t detract from its fortifying capabilities at all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I don’t love is the price. I personally wouldn’t this much for a hair product. I also didn’t love the scent of the product either. It worked fine but I didn’t notice a huge difference in my hair or scalp afterwards.

She’s got the whole package

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a curly hair girl, so my curls often need rehydrating ~ therefore I’m always on the hunt for a good hair mask. I would absolutely recommend this one ~ when using it in the shower it wasn’t sticky at all. It smoothly applied to my hair and then washed out easily. After using a few times, I definitely feel like it’s effective with lasting hydration. My curls felt and looked very happy ~ my roommate even commented. The scent wasn’t overpowering either, and it just smelled clean with a hint of floral. Pink is my favorite color, the packaging had me interested immediately. Overall, very satisfied.
