[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this stuff! I have frizzy, half curly, half wavy but doesn't make the full loop hair. It's generally dry and puffy and frustrating, this stuff helps soooo much though! It helped make the wavy bits curlier and look more like the curly parts, it's very moisturizing, and it smells amazing! I wish there was a refill bottle or a jumbo size, that's how much I like this stuff!

The best available on the market

I have yet to try any other product that boosts my curls as well as this. I use it the day after I style my naturally curly hair, and spraying this on makes it SO much more curly and defined. Like a miracle drug. Nothing works like this does to enhance curls.

A little disappointed

New must have

I have a natural mix of 3A to 3C hair that is fine but coarse due to gray growing in. As I age, my curls do not clump as they used to. This Curl Absolu works wonderfully on my hair when its wet or dry to control my styles. Its not heavy nor sticky and smells geat.

Offensive smell

Drying and makes hair very frizzy

Used this product on second day after washing and it made my hair frizzy, dry and crunchy. After the spray dried, the defined curls on my head turned into a big frizzy ball. It ruined the definition that was there prior to application.

Holy Grail!

Dislike - greasy feeling and flat

I use the rest of the Curl Manifesto line (except for the masque) and I love the fragrance and the results of the other products however this Refresh Absolu Spray I do not like at all. My hair feels slimy and it's hard to wash out. My curls become flat. Not for me. I'm sorry I spent so much on the product. Waste of money and goes in the trash.

Déception totale!

J'utilisais "crème de boucles" et "eau de vague" de la gamme Aura Botanica, mais suite à l'arrêt de production de celle-ci, on m'a recommandé Manifesto. Horreur! Je suis "boucle de type 1" si j'en crois votre définition et j'ai perdu beaucoup d'épaisseur donc il n'y a plus rien pour moi. Car Manifesto est trop lourd, il donne un effect "gras" et un allure de "tête de rat" (volume = ZÉRO). J'ai donc essayé "Refresh Hair Spray" en quantité plus ou moins (maintes tentatives)... rien à faire!!! J'adorais vos produits mais j'ai assez gaspillé d'argent inutilement. Terriblement déçu.

Best curl product ever!

Natural feel with Light hold and shine. I use it everyday. Doesn’t weigh down hair or make it sticky. My short, blonde, medium naturally curly hair has never been happier. I don’t like product that makes my hair look crunchy or wet nor that weighs it down. This spray is easy to apply and gives my curl definition. When I wake up I mist my hair w water, scrunch a bit and then spray on this product and shape my curls. Keeps them soft and defined without frizz. It’s a dream! Perfect!

Not such a great product

I used this on 2nd day after brushing my hair. BTW brushing my hair on the second day, brushes out all the curls and my hair looks super frizzy. I was hoping this product would help. It does not. It just makes it look greasy on the parts where the spray landed and everything else is still super frizzy. The smell is very very strong stinking of coconuts.

Good brand

I think all of their products are good. You really can’t go wrong with the science behind this brand. It didn’t work with my hair but that’s my hair not the product. One way I’ve used it is to spray on a section of hair I need to restyle the next day and then blow dry that section straight so works for all hair types I think as a restyle or refresh till the next wash.

An extra day

This does what it says, IMHO. I enjoy being able to go even one more day before washing my hair. The key is not to use it like hair spray, make sure you get all the curls, underneath too. I flip my head down and spray that way so I get underneath as well as the bottoms of the curls.

Doesn't feel "Refreshed"

This entire line is a "no-go"!. When the discontinued the Discipline & Oleo-Curl creme, I bought this line. My hair has gone down hill from there. I've used this entire line, sometimes just one product, then the entire line as suggested, and also tried to mix-n-match with other products. At the end of the day, this line leaves the hair weighed down, dried out and dull. With the Discipline shampoo & Oleo-Curl line, I could go a few days without washing my hair. With this line, the next day my hair looks and feels dirty, and "refreshing" it only makes it look & feel worse. PLEASE BRING BACK DISCIPLINE & OLEO!

Smells Beautiful

The product smells beautiful but I do not know if it works. I do not know if it’s just my hair (my curls don’t sit overnight, so it could be damaged) but I would buy a small trial before investing in a big bottle of this.

not as I expected.

I love Kerastase products. I've been using Bain Hydra-Fortifiant Shampoo and conditioner, they work perfectly amazing for me. Unfortunately, Refresh Absolu Redefining & Restyling Spray didn't meet my expectations. It is just a waste of money. It is small and didn't do anything to my curly hair.

Good Refresher

For reference, my hair is fine, medium density, wavy/curly, and highlighted (i.e. damaged). I tried the entire Curl Manifesto line, but unfortunately this is the only product from the line that worked for my hair type. It did a great job of reactivating my waves and curls without any crunch. Bonus: it smells great! I found the other products made my hair too "soft" (for lack of a better description) so it just fell flat, even though it did still retain some definition. On the plus side, my frizz was dramatically reduced with this line. If your hair isn't damaged or really fine, this would be a great system to use, but for me, the Resistance line is better.

Frustrating applied as directed but it didn’t wor

Best refresh ever!

I use this on second and third day hair. I spray it on the palms of my hands and lightly slide it down my hair then I spray some more on my hands and scrunch it in. Then let it dry and scrunch with dry hands. Works great!

It works but pricey for the quantity.

It does a pretty decent job at reviving your curls the next day. I tried using it a second time (2 days after washing) and hair was decent (not same as first after wash). It does take a lot or product to get the job done which means I would have to buy this pretty often at its high price. If you have long hair, this might take a toll on your wallet. I wish the bottle was bigger or the price was cheaper.

Revives my curls

I noticed the spray hold down my fly away curls down after a good shampoo wash and hair mask and masque plus an extra cream then oil for shine. And to top it down a good spray for the fly away curls.

Does nothing for me

I have short, thick curly hair. I don’t wash my hair everyday but I must spray my curls with water in the morning to reform my curls and so I don’t frighten small children. I was hoping this would replace my morning spray down. This barely squirts any product and doesn’t come close to refreshing my curls. Pity, because if it actually worked I would continue to purchase it. I guess I saved some money there. Back to plain old water.
