Didn't work for me...
I love this line in general as I am a frequent lap swimmer in chlorinated pools; however, this particular product didn't do anything for my hair. I tried using it a couple of different ways but it's not for me.

Doesn’t soften and makes hair stiff
Don’t know if something is wrong with the product but. I’ve tried the old soleil mist and my hair was super soft. This one makes it stiff, hard, crunches is all up together and makes it look dirty. I’m very disappointed as the product is expensive and doesn’t do what it’s supposed to.

Amazing!
I absolutely love this product. Hair oil is usually way too heavy for my natural curls which I prefer to style into loose waves. Living in the South, humidity is a constant problem so you wouldn’t think dryness would be an issue but it is. This oil is the perfect ratio of water to oil so that it provides excellent shine and hydration which eliminates frizz without compromising volume or the life of your style. My curls stay fresh and springy without being weighed down. When I get a blow out, there’s no worry that using this will shorten the life of my blowout. There’s no greasy residue and the spray bottle achieves a perfect mist to take fly away and finish your style with a glossy .shine. I highly recommend it!

Wanted to love it

Use it as a pair
Use ot as a pair. I started with the shampoo. I got this as a sample. Love it for summer hair. I have naturally beach waves and coily hir underneath. I was my hair twice a week normally. My hair is processed with blonde highlights, so people do think it's my natural color (thank you to my hairdresser). She introduced me to the Kerastase line 20 years ago, I have tried many other high end products and always go back to Kerastase. So, I tried this new summer line considering my summer look is natural air dried hair and washed more often because of the pool and Texas summer heat. The shampoo combined with the oil is fabulous. I noticed my hair wasn't frizzy nor dry. It brought out my highlights and my hair was silky. It is my new summer combo must have in stock ritual. I do think if you don't have some natural curls or waves, you will not notice a difference. My waves resemble Kate Hudson's in Fools Gold. So, try the combo.

More Guidance Needed
I love the idea of this product. I just don’t think that there’s enough explanation of when and why to use it. It’s an oil mist so… What hair types can benefit? How can they benefit? Is it a styling product? A pre-styling product ( heat or air dry?)? A finishing or a base product? What is intended result? “Mermaid hair?” “beachy waves” “sleek and shiny?” It smells nice. The purpose and directions are a little too vague for me to know what to do with it.

By far the best beachy wave spray
I have naturally wave hair and typical sea salt sprays make my hair dry and brittle and un-brushable the next day. This spray gives me soft and beautiful waves. It is the best product I’ve used for beach waves. For those who say it dries their hair, make sure you shake it first because the oil separates from the liquid and in order to get both you need to shake it.

Acid smell
I normally love all Kerastase products and I have used several of them and love all of them but this one. The smell is really bad, it smells like vinegar and left your hair smelling bad. It may provide good hydration but the smell is so unpleasant that makes it impossible to use

Mermaid Hair
I’ve been looking for a product like this my whole life. I have wavy, frizzy, long hair that’s been impossible to wear curly. Any product that I tried either left my hair crunchy and untouchable, or frizzy and sticky.
This product is a miracle. I towel dry my hair, spray it, brush and then air dry. My hair is defined, soft, touchable. If I want curls, I let my hair dry In a bun and then I get perfect waves

Protectant and styling spray
I originally bought this thinking it would be a light leave in conditioner- it’s not that. It’s more of a protectant & styling spray. This provides a light hold on hair, making it easier to style and provides some structure. It’s got some oil in it to nourish hair. My hair is super dry due to chemical lightening. I need to apply oil after shampooing to replenish the lost moisture, I’ll spray this after I put in some oil to give my hair more body and to protect it from UV light. Overall, I like using it.

Drying
I just purchased this product sprayed it on damp hair and made it super dry and stiff. I’m even afraid to run my fingers through my hair because it feels dry and straw like. I spend a long time outdoors and this didn’t do anything for me. Sorry love kerastase but can’t recommend this product
