Waves without the crunch

I have wavy hair and I'm still learning how best to style it. However this gelee is far better than others I have tried so far because it gives hold and definition without making my hair feel crunchy and dry. My hair still has some body and softness to it.

Great Product, Awful Smell

I love the way this product works for my wavy hair.i mix this with the elixir oil, and get great results. However, the fragrance is absolutely awful. I’m actually self conscious wearing it because I dislike the smell so much. I’ve used it for a long time, but am thinking of moving onto something that doesn’t bother me to wear. This is a common complaint of this product, so we’d love to see a remake with a better scent.

Works well with other products

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This didn’t work for me by itself, but with the Curl Manifesto crème de jour and scrunched with either the mousse bouffante or curls rock amplifier this gives me nice spiral curls without frizz and without crunchiness (once they have air dried and been massaged).

Made my curls bouncy again

I love the smell of all the Kerastase products. The curl gelee instantly smooths my hair and it just feels high end. I love how my curls are bouncy and frizz free and it doesn't take a lot of product. This is definitely a necessity

Did not help me

I only use Kerastase products for my hair. This is one did not work for me. I have thick, curly hair which I usually wear straight. I thought I would start wearing my hair curly and used this product along with an oil serum by Kerastase. My hair dried and could not be frizzier! I immediately re-washed my hair to remove this product.,

Conditioned Curls

This is great for air dry styles or a more polished style. If you opt for the latter I recommend a diffuser with this product. A little scrunching and your curls will stay soft and bouncy all day.

Absolutely amazing!

This product is fabulous! The effect after first use was impressive. My hair is naturally curly but I’ve gone through years of straightening. Stoped doing it about 4 years ago. Since, I have been looking for a product that would deliver a light weight curl effect on my hair, but still hold it. This gelée is amazing. I have A LOT of hair, and just 4 small pumps were enough. It delivered what I was looking for: defined curls, frizz control, hold but still super light and bouncy. 10/10

Déçue!

J’ai utilisé ce produit deux fois et j’en ai été très déçue. Avec ce produit, les boucles de mes cheveux ne sont pas bien dessinées et elles ont un effet rêche que je n’ai pas avec d’autres produits que j’utilise. J’ai été vraiment déçue par la gamme curl manifeste contrairement à une autre gamme que j’ai pu tester. Dommage que le pot reste dans mon placard vu le prix ;-(

worth the price

My hair stylist recommended this product to me. It makes SUCH a difference. I use it with Crème De Jour Fondamentale Hair Cream and the combo really defines my curls. I'm a little confused at the differences between the products but the combo works.

Curly girls love

I gave it a 3 because as with your other products,it is too highly, intensley fragranced!!! It gives me a headache? Don't the people in France know how to LIGHTLY fragrance a product? I love what your products do; they are of good quality, but hard to use because of smelling like a perfume tree!!

Gorgeous product

Bought this to replace the older Oleo Curl Discipline cream I used. It's lovely, creates gorgeous soft curls, and the fragrance is also a lot more subtle than the older version, which I like. Love the Manuka honey in this line.

Déçue : ce soin alourdit les cheveux

J’ai des cheveux permanentés et je recherchais un soin nourrissant sans rinçage. Je trouve que ce soin alourdi mes cheveux et finalement l’effet souhaité sur mes boucles est inversé : ça détend trop mes cheveux et donc mes boucles. Déçue ! Je l’utiliserai avant le shampoing pour nourrir mes pointes et je verrai à l’usage …
