Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Kérastase Genesis Fondant Renforçateur Conditioner for free in exchange for my honest review, and I love it just as much as the shampoo! It leaves my hair soft, smooth, and lightweight without feeling heavy or greasy. Together with the shampoo, it helps me go longer between washes and keeps my hair looking healthy and clean. The only downside is that it doesn’t add much volume to my flatter hair, but it more than makes up for that with how nourishing and strengthening it feels. Definitely a staple in my regular rotation!

Amazing

Liking it so far

Liking it so far. I've only used 2 times thus far and I am liking it so far. THe only issue is that I have thick hair and it takes a lot of conditioner to cover my entire head. I'm not sure how many washes this conditioner will last.

Large quantity for hydration

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was fortunate to have received this product for free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. I have color treated hair, healthy but some heat damage. I absolutely love the smell of this shampoo. However, wash day does come sooner. Unfortunately I was not that impressed not satisfied with the conditioner. I felt like I had to use larger amounts compared to other brands in order for my hair to hydrated.

Great conditioner, needs a few minor adjustments

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This conditioner really does a great job of rehydrating hair and giving it softness. I love the scent and I think you get your moneys worth for sure. However the packaging could be better as you have to unscrew a cap to use it. In the shower, this is not necessarily ideal. I was also confused with the wording on how to use this. It says use on towel dried hair, but it’s a rinse out conditioner.

MISSING: Softness

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For a product to claim it “provides immediate strength and softness without weighing down the hair”, I think they need to revisit their formula. After using this product for the better part of a month, I was left with extremely dry hair and scalp that took on the resemblance to straw. Wooooo! 😒 While this might work for some, it definitely did not work for me.

Bang for your buck

Shiny and Smooth

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Kerastase Genesis conditioner as a complimentary sample. The bottle is a squeeze tube and very easy to travel work. It’s not too big and can fit in virtually any bag. It has a twist off top which fits securely closed. The conditioner is thick as most conditioners. It is creamy and gives off a citrus scent. I found it to easily spread through my hair and i immediately felt that it made my hair feel soft as it coated my hair in the shower. I allowed it to rest for a few minutes and washed it out. It was easy to get out and made my wet hair feel very sleek. Once it was time to brush my hair, it was odd that my hair felt stiffer and harder to brush through. However, once I managed to get through the different texture, I noticed a sleek and soft texture. My hair was very shiny and looked noticeably healthier even after the first use. I have a lot of frizz and I felt it almost disappeared even though I had only air dried my hair at this point. I felt that my hair felt very clean and it was not weighed down at all. It was bouncy and lively. I am very pleased with my results after using this shampoo and am looking forward to seeing the effects of less breakage and fallout. Overall, I am very satisfied with this formula and would recommend it.

Exactly what I was looking for

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ive been looking for something that strengthens my hair, but is a bit beyond a protein treatment. I had tried a bond repair shampoo and conditioner from a curl brand, and liked it, but could only really use it twice a month max since my hair wasn't damaged. If I used it too much, my hair would be tough and wirery. This I'd like a lighter version of that! I have fine, average density 4b hair and typically wash twice a week. I tried this with the matching shampoo and found using it twice a week was possible, but preferred using it once a week and my hydrating focused set the other wash, or using the conditioner twice and the full set once a week. That is because this conditioner works but it does leave my hair a bit on the dry side. I have to change what leave in/stylers I use to make sure I have soft hair, but I could still use what I already owned. Using this I did see less breakage when washing my hair and my coils are so defined naturally without much additional manipulation. I did find the conditioner worked with well with my other shampoos, but definitely worked best within the set.

Hydrating without leaving hair oily

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this conditioner for a month now, and overall have been very impressed. Starting with packaging, to administer the conditioner, you squeeze on the bottle and a cream comes out, similar consistency to lotion (the bottle is also shaped like a lotion bottle). It is definitely not runny enough for the conditioner to easily come out without squeezing. After a month of use, I am still having no trouble with the squeeze. The scent is lovely, almost a floral-y scent that lasts all day long. As someone who can be sensitive to smells, this can sometimes be too strong, but it’s just light enough that I still am willing to use it. The conditioner itself makes my hair so soft but also is not very heavy. A small amount goes a long way. For someone with really oily hair, this is one of the few conditioners that I feel comfortable, putting close to my roots without it, weighing me down too much. Lastly, I always check the ingredients in my beauty products. While this conditioner is not all gold stars, I don’t feel alarmed by the safety of the ingredients included, and feel comfortable using this in my hair.

It smells refreshing and hydrates my curls without weighing them down, which I struggle with because even though my hair is dense, it’s very fine. I always get compliments after I use this in my wash day routine. I like that it’s light enough that it doesn’t cause a ton of buildup where I need to clarify often. It also provides a good amount of slip for gentle detangling.

Good product, odd bottle top

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'd give this 4.5 stars. Love the actual product but the tops to the bottles are annoying when actually using the product. I prefer not having to set a cap down somewhere for hair products meant for the shower. It didn't smell strong when using, but after my hair was dry I would occasionally smell a hint of fragrance that was pleasant and perfume-like without being strong. I'm not sure if it's the shampoo or conditioner with the fragrance, or both. It didn't do anything for frizz or flyaways. I would purchase even with the disappointing bottle.

Leaves hair soft and hydrated

Thick conditioner, but would still use hair masks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The conditioner is nice and thick- I want a conditioner that is very nourishing and almost felt more like a mask. The scent is nice and I also liked that the conditioner didn’t weigh my hair down. The downside is some of my fine hairs did seem more dry than usual when I used the conditioner- it did a good job with detangling - but would still need to be paired with a deeper penetrating mask

Love this conditioner, lightweight and works!

The texture of this conditioner is perfect, it’s creamy but fairly light weight and I feel like my hair sucks it all up! It also doesn’t leave a residue on your back like some conditioners causing acne etc. The scent is also great, and lasts for days! I do prefer the conditioner in this line over the shampoo but have been using them together. Overall I would recommend if you’re looking to strengthen your hair if you experience hair loss when washing and brushing!

Great conditioner for breakage prone hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have extensions but used this on my real hair. I have very fine hair that is prone to breakage. Over the course of a couple weeks I noticed alot less shedding and breakage. It is pricey but worth it ! Smells amazing too . It didn’t make my hair greasy or oily at all.

Genuinely strengthens & heals my hair!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Omg this is the best conditioner I think I’ve ever used!! My initial impression was that it wasn’t anything special. The scent is nice, nothing notable. What really matters is the result. My hair has become thicker & more voluminous, others have even commented on it! My own mom had been mentioning how it was thinner than it used to be & after I started using this conditioner w/ the shampoo, she’s brought up how much thicker & healthier my hair has been looking!!

For dry and/or curly hair

Easy to detangle after and so smooth!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I paired this conditioner with the shampoo of the same line and was happy with how soft the two left my hair! The smell is pleasant and left my hair smooth immediately after use. It easily de tangled my hair, however I seemingly had to use much more product than I expected to. I think this could be attributed to the small opening for the conditioner to come out of. Overall though, I liked this product!

Get a flip top!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] [I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Clean scent and lathers nicely. I'm unsure if this has had any strengthening effect, however, almost 2 months into my postpartum journey, I haven't lost any hair yet and hair loss from my prior pregnancy has just started to recover, slow down to a halt, and my hair finally is starting to feel like itself again. I was happy with the results of this product. My hair felt clean and looked nice even without styling. I do absolutely find the packaging (the screw on caps) annoying 😑. They need to be flip tops. No one needs to use two hands to open a bottle and then need a place to put the cap while using the product and having to rescrew it back on.

A must in hair routine

Strong manageable hair
