wonderful product-- will never switch

I have used this product for years and have switched to other Kerastase products just to try. I have colored hair and this truly does maintain your color. Smells amazing-- literally I could bathe myself in the smell and my hair feels and smells amazing too!

Not for me

Good concept

Nourishing and good for colored hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample of this product from Kerastase for free in exchange for my honest review. After using this shampoo for a couple of weeks I have to say it seems to really help keep my color longer. I shampoo 2-3 times per week. The scent is slightly too perfumey for me. It's a good scent, but my hair doesn't smell as strong after drying so it is not a deal breaker for me. Overall I feel this shampoo does not dry my hair out, it feels moisturized, and my color does seem to not wash out as quickly. I would give it a try if you have drier, color-treated hair.

awful for natural curls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried using this along with the Chroma Absolu shampoo and I have never been so disappointed. This conditioner felt like it was moisturizing my hair well when I was in the shower. After air drying my 3a/3b curls and using my usual styling products, my hair looked awful. The top half of my hair was so dried out. My curls that were usually well-defined, shiny, and bouncy, looked frizzy, wavy, and dull. This is also heavy on the fragrance, and it did not fade away. Hand in Hand!

Just like I would never buy another shampoo for my colored hair, I would never buy another conditioner. Either is conditioner still light it keeps my fine curly hair from being weighed down yet my curls stay beautiful and not fuzzy. VERY hydrating!

Perfect for soft, shiny hair!

It also smells like a high-end perfume. I get SO many compliments on my hair scent! II use this with the shampoo and they work perfectly together... My ONLY complaint is the packaging. The screw on lid is a thoughtless design. You unscrew- pour conditioner in your hand, but then need two hands to screw the lid back on, so I always loose some conditioner in my hand while trying to put the lid back on. Wow, obsessed is an understatement

Just meh...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free in exchange for an honest review. I really wanted to love the Kerastase Chroma Absolu Shampoo and Conditioner. Kerastase has a connotation of luxury and I was expecting the same results that I have in the past using their products. Unfortunately, I would not recommend or purchase. The shampoo left my hair kind of dry. The scent is kind of herb-y. Not terrible but not my preference. I had my husband try both the shampoo and conditioner and he did not care for either. One good thing about the shampoo is that unlike many other sulfate-free shampoos it actually lathers up. The conditioner can be compared to any drugstore conditioner. It left my hair manageable but there was no exceptional WOW feeling. For reference - I'm in my mid-thirties and about a year postpartum. I have color-treated (single process - to cover stray grays) medium hair (elbow length). I also don't have any restriction in my diet and do not drink or smoke (I know some people find the link to hair health important).

Smells Great but ...

Great shampoo and conditioner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been trialing the Chroma Absolu Bain Chroma Shampoo and Conditioner in exchange for my honest opinion. The packaging - pretty, though the screw off top can be tricky in the shower. The print on the bottles is impossible to read if your eyesight is less than 20/20. Smell- I find it pleasant without being overpowering. After drying, my hair smells clean vs perfumey. Product Consistency- shampoo is thick though it doesn't suds up like some other shampoos. Not an issue for me as I e come to expect this in paraben free products. The conditioner feels nice and creamy. My hair - extra thick, coarse, wavy, graying, mid length. Usage- I'm a wash rinse repeat kinda girl and only wash 2x week. While the frizz isn't eliminated, the Chroma Absolu leaves my hair soft, with a nice healthy shine. It doesn't feel weighed down with a lot of product. After about day 3 which is usually when I wash, my scalp feels to be a little more oily- not visibly, just noticeable when I run my fingers through. The softness and shine are like that when a nice masque has been applied. Recommendation- I absolutely would recommend. To anyone looking for paraben free shampoo that delivers on healthy shine and softness. I will happily purchase these products.

I'm glad I received mine as a free sample, because there are plenty of other products that do what this does, or even do it better. Not much slip

It smells nice, lathers well, and didn't leave my hair feeling stripped or dried like some shampoos. The conditioner smells great as well, but I felt like I had to use so much just to get some slip in my hair, and even then it didn't feel very moisturizing. It may work better for other hair types. Overall, I would buy the shampoo again, but would pass on the conditioner.

Silky Smooth and Frizz Free

Quality results but I didn't love the smell

I have mixed texture hair that has very curly areas and then wavy area. But even with the reduction in frizz, I really didn't love the smell. It reminded me of cherry cough drops. I had my mom smell it and she agreed. I will say the consistency of the conditioner is nice and thick. It grabs onto the strands and absorbs well. Once my hair was dried the smell was more subtle and tolerable. The photo is my hair on day three. It does keep your hair nice for a while which is a plus . I just really couldn't get on board with the scent. I'd recommend this if the buyer liked this scent, it's a good product overall

Game changer!

Average Conditoner

Smells amazing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Directions for use and entire label is in another language, which is fine just don't use to much. Used a quarter sized at first as I have thick hair and my hair the following day was pretty oily so next wash I tried a smaller amount & it worked out fantastic, even for thick hair I'd say used a dime sized. The smell is amazing.

Lightweight and Smoothing

Just Like I Left the Salon

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did receive this to try for free but I am honest - this conditioner and shampoo made my hair so shiny after one use. I really feel like I get salonr results at home (my hair even styles easier, holds the style longer and smells DIVINE.) It keeps my hair feeling soft as well, while protecting color. I have always loved Kerastase products - they are quality and known for protecting and keeping your dry hair moisturized and repaired. Love!

Best conditioner ever!

I found my go to conditioner for everyday

Chroma sulfate free shampoo/conditioner

Great product terrible packaging

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved it it left my bleach treated hair feeling great after just one wash, the frizz was barely there!!! usually i have to put products to make it loook decent vs this i felt fine with it as is, smellls great my boyfriend loved the smell and lasted for a while!! but the packaging is awful it's a twist cap like a water bottle which suck when ur wet and soapy and inconvenient but over great

Softer and shiniest hair ever

Like the other Chroma absolu products this conditioner is lightweight but really nurtures the hair. My hair is long and colored for years and feels very healthy

I really love it

Great product

Great conditioner strong smell

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy this conditioner it made my hair feel super soft and hydrated, and the formula is great and thick. I do feel like my hair is shiny and more hydrated after using. The only drawback is it is pretty strong scented so if you're sensitive to smells maybe skip this. Overall a great conditioner I would recommend it!
