Very nice, but not my favorite
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cream is moisturizing and smells great, but it was a little too thin for me and didn't give the kind of hold I was looking for. May work better for someone whose hair is even more coarse than mine. I paired it with the gel cream in hopes for my curls to take better shape, but it still wasn't enough, and my curls lacked their usual bounce. I love Keratase products, but this one wasn't my favorite, unfortunately.

I have sextremely thick, coarse and curly hair…most days it is unmanageable until I found this brand. I love love love everything about it. I love that it’s healthy for me and my hair, free of sulfates, it smells amazing and I have found that I can go from every other day of washing to every 2 days which is huge when your hair is like mine! Looks great, smells awful
I bought this for my teenage son who’s trying to wear the longer, grown-out, wavy hair look. It has been great in giving him the look he wants. His hair used to look dry and wonky, but this line (bought the shampoo, leave-in conditioner and spray) have helped him achieve very nice looking, wavy hair. However, I can’t get past the SMELL! Why? Why would Kérastase pick Play-doh for the scent?? Yes, I swear it smells just like Play-doh. We’ll have to find another solution cuz this makes me gag every time he comes near.

Simply the Best

As a product junkie, it's easy to talk me into all sorts of new luxury goods, BUT I am never out of Kerastase Hair Cream. I live in the south where it is super humid (great for skin - bad for hair) and Crème De Jour Fondamentale Hair Cream keeps my frizz at bay and my curls soft and pretty. It also leaves your hair touchable, which is major because most other frizz/curl care products make it "crispy critter," as we like to say.

Very nice leave-in for curly hair. Keeps curls formed, bouncy, but moisturized. The cuticle was smoother compared to most curly hair leave-ins I've tried. Conditions without being too heavy or weighing the hair down. I was surprised the curls were somewhat formed after a nights sleep. Recommend!

I’ve tried out a lot of different brands for fine curly/wavy hair, even the ones exclusively specialized in curly hair care, and none of them performed as well as this product. Thats my holy grail! It keeps my curls in place and my frizzy hair under control. The scent is not too strong and you don’t need to use a lot of product, at least not in my case!

Product ingredients
Friends raved about this product and was about to purchase until I saw the ingredients. It’s advertised with manuka honey which is very beneficial but was bummed when I saw it at the bottom of the ingredients list which means there is not a lot in there and the first few ingredients (usually the most in the bottle) was water, alcohol and seed oil….as good as my friends made it sound not sure if it’s worth the money no matter how well it works.

The cap, container needs improvement.
The only issue is the container. The hair cream is "slippery"and the screw cap top on the bottom of the container is a pain. If only they made this with a flip top cap, or even such a small purse size that would be portable, refillable, and have an easy to use cap!

My hair stylist recommended this product to me. It makes SUCH a difference. I use it with Gelée Curl Contour Gel-Cream and the combo really defines my curls. The curls also hold over night which doesn't happen without using these. It has a mild tropical smell. While not my go-to scent, I like it. It's not overpowering.

If your hair is course and frizzy, get THIS!
This is soooo good for softening my thick, coarse (really wirey), curly hair. I have never found a product that controls frizz like this! It can relax loose curls so probably best for medium to tight coils.

Une hydratation maîtrisée
J’utilise cette crème depuis plusieurs mois maintenant.
J’ai les cheveux très épais et plutôt frisés bouclés. C’est la première fois que je trouve une crème et une gamme de produits aussi bien adaptée à mon type de cheveux ( métisse indienne). La crème les hydrate tout en les gardant légers et prépare bien la boucle.
Le parfum est délicat et sensuel. Je suis très sensible au parfum des produits et là c’est tout simplement un plaisir sensoriel. J’ai enfin arrêté de me lisser les cheveux car je supporte très bien leur texture grâce à cette gamme . Ils sont doux aériens et la frisure est très jolie

good cream but terrible old lady smell
They changed the smell years ago and I can't understand why. It went from a fresh citrus smell that got me LOADS of compliments to smelling like an old lady musk. Whoever is in charge of fragrance is doing the devil's work here. Why change it to make it worse?

Amazing
I have never used a hair cream like this. It moisturizes my hair without buildup, which is very important to me because I have low-porosity hair. It's the only thing preventing my hair from feeling prickly at night. My hair feels soft and is not greasy. This is the only product that has worked on my hair.

Best lightweight curl creme
I’ve been looking for a curl crème lightweight enough for my hair for years. This is the best one I’ve found. It’s light enough not to weigh my hair down or get oily between washes, but effective at calming my frizz and better defining my curls.

Enfin le produit miracle…
Je n’ai pas l’habitude de laisser des commentaires… mais là je suis tombé sur le produit miracle. J’adore… adieux les petits cheveux de bébés qui font des frisotis.
Je me met le produit sur cheveux mouillés des racines jusqu’au pointes, une fois que les cheveux sont séchés ça peut faire un peu carton je passe juste ma main dedans et là hop chevelure de rêve… même le lendemain matin les petits cheveux de bébé sont domptés . Merci kerastase.
