Amazing

Definitely does something, I feel bold without it. It comforts my scalp after shower, I have a sensitive scalp. I only use a coin sized amount to apply, I use it when there is no water dropping out after shower. I love it and it made my hair looks shiny than without it. But it is too expensive, but also meantime I can use it for a quite long time, around 1 year. It expires 18 months, so I can make sure I don’t use expired stuff on my scalp. But I have noticed I couldn’t finish my last bottle, I had to rush to buy this new one which I hate. There was a lot of serum left on the bottom, tons of caviars. I felt bad for my money. I had to pour the caviars out and squeeze it for more serum, feel so sad about this part. I wish the pipeline could be longer or there is some way to use all the caviars. Also, the smell of this serum is the same as the oil one, I am crazy for this smell, so light, moisturized, and also protect my hair and made it doesn’t look that fuzzy.

Disappointing Experience with Kerastase Serum

I recently tried out this serum with high hope, but unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. The tagline, "Smoothness Promised, Frizz Delivered" seems more fitting!! Given the reputation of the brand I expected more from this product. Frustrating part is it left me a problem I never had and that I haven't experience previously. I can't help but feel my money was wasted and the product did the opposite of what I expected. Sad to say it's going in the trash money, down the drain.

The best serum for your hair: Serum Universel

Serum universel gives my thin hair shine and body. I use it every time I wash my hair and my hair has never looked so good. I am 70 years old and do not color my hair. It is still the color or my youth.

A lot less frizz! I have long hair without a lot of layers and it would frizz like crazy and my hair was almost crunchy until I flat iron it. But with this Serum, my hair is a lot softer and and much less frizzy

Serum worth every cent

I’m 67 with thinning hair a bit at my front hairline. I noticed with Kerastase scalp Drops, shampoos and conditioners that my hair health ‘IS’ showing improvements. When I added this serum an expensive product… well … I definitely could see improvement straight away. I have lon almost mid back. Where by. My chemically treated hair always presents a challenge. However this serum I found it works well at my roots. Kerastase does not claim to make your hair grow with this serum but I saw benefit at my new wisp growth.

Great but have to use a lot!

I love this product and it is a game changer, but I have to use a lot on my thick, coarse hair. I’m almost 1/4 through the bottle after less than a week!!! It’s so expensive to keep using like this. Im so disappointed that I can’t afford it at that rate. It leaves my hair soft and shiny and full. Is there another product I can use to supplement so I don’t have to use so much?

Great!

So far this product is great. I used it for a recent outdoor summer event. I think it helped battle the humidity and give my hair a great smell. My hair is getting thinner as I get older and this gave me a fuller look. This is the whole reason I purchased the product. so far it has lived up to its potential. Not sure I will purchase again it is very expensive. I have only used it 4 times. I need to use the whole bottle before I decide to buy again or not.

Great Product-HORRIBLE Delivery

I love this SERUM UNIVERSEL and it’s plentiful benefits for my hair and scalp. However, I am feeling completely cheated out of a lot of product and a lot of $money$ spent on this extremely expensive serum. The dispenser will no longer work with a third of the bottle still full of the black caviar beads, which you obviously cannot manually crush nor retrieve the serum from. How to fix this?? It feels entirely too wasteful to just throw away a third of the amount of the original beads!

A big fan!

A lot of beads in the bottle

I was really looking forward to trying this product but I was surprised to find most of the 'serum' is in the bottle with black 'vitamin e' beads, therefore the product wasn't really '40 ML'. I will stay with the usual 8H Magic Night Hair Serum.

Very nice product that has made a difference

I enjoy the serum a lot. It’s lightweight and doesn’t leave my hair oily, but delivers good nourishment and moisture. I have seen an improvement in my hair since using it and it leaves my hair soft and shiny. I’ve also noticed less frizz/fly always. I like that I can use it on my scalp and lengths. Honestly I don’t quite get how a hair product can be anti-aging, but I can say I can see a difference, whatever you want to call it.

Love Chronologist but didn't get this product

Agree with another reviewer, I'm not sure what it does, or what my expectations should be. I ordered a bottle and the pump didn't work, it clogged with the beads inside. Customer Service was great, they shipped me another bottle of, but it honestly clogged with the little beads too. It was very hard to get the product out. I tried to pour it out into my hands and smash the caviar beads with my hands... What a mess. While I thought my hair looked good when I was able to use the product, I didn't see any tangible, earth shattering difference with use. The smell is wonderful, and I do use the entire Chronologist line, I love the blow dry cream, it gives my hair a ton of shine and people always comment on it and ask what I use. I do not know how this product was supposed to be different from the blow dry cream?

Un produit unique

Ce produit fait des merveilles sur mes boucles de type 3b-3c. Il leur donne beaucoup de brillance ainsi qu’une texture soyeuse jamais obtenue avec d’autres produits. De plus, il contrôle parfaitement les frisottis. Quatre jours après l’utilisation de la gamme ( pré shampooing, shampooing, masque et sérum) mes boucles sont encore parfaites.

Not sure what it does...

However, it is expensive and despite the blurb on the Kerastase website, I'm not really sure what it does for my hair... I have fine, thin hair and it can only take so much product before it goes limp and gets greasy. I have to prioritize my volumizing foam and the heat protectant when I go out, so this product would only be used (by me) at night or when I'm working from home.

Really great product, better for wet hair than dry

Shine On

Great brand, great new product

I usually buy a product only after she's used it on me since they are pricey. It smells great and add fullness and shine to my hair. I really like this!

Hair Perfection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first hair serum I've tried, but I don't need to try any others. My hair hasn't been this smooth, shiny, or manageable since I had a Brazilian Blowout 4 years ago, and this serum is much cheaper than that. I use one pump everyday after blow drying and straightening or curling my mid-back length hair, and I use two pumps before I go to bed. This product doesn't make my hair feel gunky, just smooth and healthy.

Use When Styling with Heat

Then the style only looks good for one day and my hair has no life. Using the Kerastase product while heat styling helped to add a little shine, reduce frizz and allow me to have fuller hair over a few days. Luxurious scalp and hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to try this Kerastase Chronologiste Universel Hair Serum and was not disappointed! You can apply it to dry or damp hair but I prefer to apply it to my scalp and hair while damp since I have wavy hair and the majority of the time air dry my hair naturally. I pump out the serum which squeezes out of these pearls into a silky white texture of a serum that feels so luxurious in between my fingers while applying to my hair. Just the mechanics of how the serum comes out of the pearls is a sight to be seen out of this very posh packaging. My hair is instantly nourished, thicker, more voluminous, resilient, softer, shinier, and more youthful. It's all thanks to the two main ingredients which are precious abyssine and hyaluronic acid. The precious abyssine invigorates and regenerates the hair for bounce and the hyaluronic acid moisturizes and hydrates both the scalp and hair leaving it luxurious. This was my first time using a hair serum but I'm a skincare junkie and love facial serums so know how important they are so can't believe I haven't tried a serum for my hair sooner as it is just as important for your hair. This serum not only looks and feels luxurious it gives you luxurious results!

Nice results

Nice product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really do like this product I think it does what it claims to do my hair is soft and shiny very easy to brush. I would say that it requires more than 1 to 2 pumps for the product to be worthwhile for me. I have very long hair so for me I need at least six pumps four are used to on the length and then two to get through the top of my head. The smell is pleasant not too strong. The instructions that come with the product are so small you need a magnifying glass to read that it's very nice that they are inclusive as far as the multiple languages they offer the instructions in. I wish I had more time to review this product as I have not seen a difference in split ends or breakage.

Kerastase Chronologiste Universel Hair Serum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try the new Kerastase Chronologiste Universel Hair Serum, but I found myself a little baffled from the start. I read the information on the label as well as the instructions for use, and I found it all a bit vague. What are the benefits of using this product? According the Kerastase, hair is "transformed", "more youthful" and "visibly beautiful". As i read further, I finally get down to the promises: thickened, volumized, 4x shine, plumped & soft. It sounds miraculous. I will also note that all of these fine properties are attached to asteriks - apparently the benefits will be mine if I buy all the other products in the system. OK, I get that products do sometimes work more effectively with companion products, and there are many systems of products for hair and skin. I only have this product to try, though. So how did it do? The serum itself comes out like a lotion, and only a small amount is dispensed by the pump. This is fine - it gives it the feeling of being precious and not a lot will need to be used. The directions say one or two pumps are all that is needed. This did not go very far on my long hair, so I had to add more right off the bat. Unlike serums I have experienced, there does not seem to be any oil or silicone in the formula, which can make a product feel like it needs to be used more sparingly. I tried this both on damp and dry hair. On dry hair it made no noticeable difference in the feel or texture. It did not cause any issues such as frizz or unwanted weight, but neither did it add anything to the beauty of my hair. On damp, washed hair, it may have added a little "oompf", but not like a product geared to volumizing. I did not feel a noticeable difference to my hair no matter how I used this product. Let me note that I love this brand and have tried other products which are great and salon quality. The packaging is gorgeous and expensive looking., and the product itself is dispensed in the shape of caviar pearls which are crushed by the pump to dispense their lotion. Very creative and upscale approach, I'm just sorry that the product did not actually deliver more benefits in terms of making a difference to my hair. Perhaps the rest of the system is truly needed to have that happen, and I would love love to try all the products together. I just doubt that I will go buy all of them based on my experience with the Kerastase Chronologiste Universel Hair Serum.

Kerastase Hair serum

Nourishing serum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very nourishing serum, I usually add it to the ends of my hair to provide moisture. Overall, I am very happy with it. Sometimes I use it as an overnight mask and wash it out the next day. It does have a masculine scent, if you are looking for unscented or feminine products, this is not the one for you.

Healthy hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After the first use I saw my hair looked shinier. My hair is thick and coarse, but it didn't have much frizz. It felt stronger and not so easy to break off. It's lightweight and non greasy, which makes me love it! A little goes a long way.

Quality, Elegant Hair Serum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really loved this serum. First off, the packaging was very nice with its glass bottle which let's you see the vitamin e pearls/beads. Using the hair serum was really simple, as I used it after a shower on wet or blow dried hair. The serum has a very elegant and subtle fragrance that I loved. Also, the serum made my hair look thicker, shinier, and healthier after a week of use. I highly recommend it!

Just what I needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Kerastase Chronologiste Universel Hair Serum for a few weeks now and am loving the results. This serum is just what my hair had needed for so long so I'm so happy to have discovered this product. My hair feels smoother and shinier but most dramatic is my scalp health is much better.

Best of best

I still haven’t use it yet but I’m sure it will be another one of my favorite things from kerastase, I don’t use any other hair product if it’s not my kerastase, I’ll keep posted after I use it, kerastase will solve any hair issues, I mean any! The only thing is I don’t receive my gift with this purchase!

Luxurious

It’s very nice, love the brilliance in the glass bottle. Obviously it’s extremely expensive. It did seem to help maintain my natural waves and give a natural shine
