AirLight Pro par L’Oréal Professionnel, le 1er sèche-cheveux professionnel à la technologie infrarouge pour un séchage plus rapide, moins de consommation d’énergie et aucun dommage.
Co-développé par des professionnels de la coiffure et Zuvi, une start-up de la tech créée en 2019 par le docteur Mingyu Wang – un scientifique et ingénieur au plus de 500 brevets dans l’électronique, la robotique et la technologie écoresponsable. AirLight Pro utilise la technologie de la lumière infrarouge qui est une partie du spectre de la lumière naturelle.
Sur les cheveux, la chaleur de la lumière infrarouge est prouvée pour se déplacer plus vite et plus précisément qu’avec la technologie de convection des sèche-cheveux traditionnels. Le résultat permet un séchage plus rapide, moins de consommation d’énergie et moins d’exposition à la chaleur pour sécher sans abimer les cheveux.
AirLight Pro s’adapte aux besoins de tous vos clients. Le bouton à l’avant permet de régler la température. Le bouton à l’arrière permet de régler le flux d’air. Plusieurs modes co-développés avec des professionnels sont automatiquement disponibles sur l’écran. Une infinité de modes peuvent être créés depuis l’application, puis enregistrés directement sur l’écran de l’outil.

Votre AirLight Pro est équipé de 2 filtres, l'un à l'arrière et l'autre en bas de la poignée. Pour garantir des performances optimales, nous recommandons de nettoyer les deux filtres régulièrement. La fréquence de nettoyage peut varier en fonction de l'environnement (qualité de l'air/poussière/particules telles que les laques).
Des notifications intelligentes vous indiqueront quand un nettoyage est nécessaire.
L'appareil réduit automatiquement sa puissance et s'arrête si les filtres sont obstrués afin de protéger le moteur.
Voici les étapes à suivre :
1. Veillez à ce que l'appareil soit éteint et débranché lorsque vous le nettoyez ou remplacez le filtre.
2. Commencez par le filtre arrière : Tirez sur le couvercle circulaire pour extraire le filtre. Retirez le couvercle en plastique en le tournant dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d'une montre.
3. Retirez le filtre inférieur : Pincez doucement le caoutchouc à la base du filtre et faites glisser le filtre vers le bas. Libérez le filtre du câble.
4. Nettoyez les deux filtres à l'eau et au savon doux, rincez-les abondamment et laissez-les sécher (une nuit est généralement suffisante).
5. Remettez les filtres en place et allumez l'appareil. Si vous avez reçu une notification pour le nettoyage du filtre, elle disparaîtra après quelques secondes.

love the blow dryer, but am now having to get my 2nd blow dryer in the past 6 months due to it dying. when you’re putting in a big invest, it’s very disappointing to have to constantly reach out in regards to it breaking. i don’t want to say it’s a waste of money because it truly an amazing blow dryer, but longevity is definitely an issue.

Better than Dyson
Best dryer on the market, period. Lighter and drys hair beautifully, much better than the Dyson I’ve been using at work. I paid a lot of money for a Dyson dryer not to have infrared tech, and yes infrared makes a huge difference with frizz, shine, and faster drying time.

Worst blowdryer
This is by far the worst blowdryer I’ve ever bought. Two have now gone out on me in the past month. I wouldn’t recommend this blow dryer to anyone. The money this blow dryer costs is an investment and when it doesn’t last more than two weeks that is not a product i want to purchase. DO NOT BUY

Disappointed
I so badly wanted to love this hairdryer. As a professional Stylist, there were so many amazing features. I love the infrared technology, the speed at which it dries the hair, the magnetic attachments. But after using it for a couple weeks, it has been tripping my electricity and cutting off midway through blow dryer. I just don’t have time to deal with that. I need a workhorse and it’s just too fussy.

Do not recommend
Do not recommend! This is my 2nd one within 3 months. Shuts down after every 3rd blow dry. Constantly cleaning filters which comes thru the screen.professionals deserve better especially for the price.

Power cord issue

My favorite for drying curly hair !!

Before i would avoid diffusing textured hair at all cost because it took so much time and ended up more frizzy than it would if I just let it air dry . It dries the hair so fast without making it feel damaged and dry. It’s also very high tech and has cool custom settings for me to tailor per hair type. Plus my clients love it

Not impressed
Start off as a fabulous dryer. I loved it more than my dysons, that I've had in the past. After 9 months of use, I have lost all but one magnet on the main filter. And now it keeps telling me to clean the filter. Even though I clean both of them every four days! Now the handle is heating up and makes it uncomfortable to use. That is when it is working, and not telling me that I need to clean my filter even though I just cleaned it the night before!

Very disappointing
After replacing this dryer for just shutting off for no reason. . The replacement is doing the same thing for no reason . I’m so disappointed I recommend this blow dryer to two other stylist and they have had the same issue . There has to be a reason why and no one seems to have the correct answer . .

not worth the money
Absolutely admitted the blow dryer at first as it sped up my dry time but after having it for 6 months, the handle overheats and keeps saying the filter is dirty even after a brand new filter replacement. multiple stylists in my salon has had issues with their airlight pro as well. just an unfortunate lost of potential from a great product. would never recommend this blow dryer.

Faulty
Very disappointed! I saw another stylist using one and she talked about how great it was and I got to try it.
I instantly fell in love with it! I bought mine in April and I told excellent care of it. Tell me why it stopped working in July?! It’s very faulty. So beware you’ll get a few good months out of it :(

Very disappointed, not impressed at all.
I ordered my L'Oreal air pro around the 1st week of June. In october it started to shut off saying it needed to cool down. However there was no reason for it . I clean the filters twice a week. I run the temperature on the second heat setting and about half way through a blow dry on normal thickness hair it shuts off. It's very frustrating and my customers want to know why it's doing that. I wouldn't recommend.

Professionals, look somewhere else!
I bought this blow dryer July 31st, 2025 and was so excited about it. Long story short, I don’t feel that it “dries” any faster whatsoever. After about 3 months (October-ish) it started over heating and shutting off to cool down— the handle would get so hot, even with my clients who have finer hair that usually don’t take long to dry.
I’ve done all of the troubleshooting and even make sure to clean the filters regularly. I barely get any blow dry time.
I bought this because I thought I did enough research and was influenced by other stylists.
I would consider getting a different blow dryer: had I known this would cost me so much and give so little, I’d go for a less fancy, less eye catching product. This dryer is over rated.
Speaking with other industry friends now, they are having similar issues. Very disappointing!

I bought this blow dryer after owning two professional Dyson's. Each died after 2 years of purchase. My AirLight Pro only lasted 3 months from purchase. I was blowing drying a client and it just shut off. It will not come back on. Very disappointed.

I loved this dryer so much from the moment I started using it however, after a month, I developed pain in my left arm because of how heavy it is and because the design is cumbersome when doing a blowout, the barrel is way too fat when you wanna turn it around I kept using it for another six months, hoping the pain would go away, but it didn't. I know it attributed to this blow dryer and I cannot use it anymore. I didn't see anyone else writing about this problem, but I know it was a problem for me. The weight of the dryer is just too much Even though it works very efficiently.

Disappointed
I loved this hairdryer until it stopped working. It has started shutting itself off after a few minutes of use. I purchased it in May, didn't even last 6 months. It also only gets used 2-3 times a week. Although I am a licensed professional , I use it for personal use. I wonder how long it would have lasted if I was using it all day every day in the salon on my clients....?

So disappointing
I absolutely loved this blow dryer recommended it to all of my coworkers and talked about it all the time. Unfortunately it has recently been turning off for no reason and I am so careful with how I store it in the salon and I clean the filters everyday so it doesn’t make sense. I’ve only had it 7 months and for the price it should not be broken already. It’s frustrating that I have to go and buy another dryer today so I can work.

It's very fast and has good power, but I can't work with a dryer that constantly stops because it says the filter is dirty, even after I've just washed it. I want to return mine (2) because they're expensive for that huge inconvenience that slows down the stylist's work.

The App, not the Hairdryer
The blower works great, just if like me, only used the sleek mode! If you try to log back in to the iphone to change settings, it may suddenly expire. Then you’re stuck, unsure how to access it again and scrambling to find a code you thought you already had.

Extremely disappointed
I LOVED this dryer, but it only lasted all of 6 months. Now it only lasts half a blow dry before overheating and dying. I have cleaned the filter regularly and am extremely careful with my tools. I have a lot of clients with thick curly hair and am starting to think that this dryer is just not meant for true professional use.

Love & frustration
I'm a stylist and purchased after seeing this dryer at a hair show in Nashville. People asked if it was all it was cracked up to be and I say "I've been doing hair for 15 years and never loved a blow dryer more" UNTIL ... the magnets fell
off the filter (no permanent way to get them to stay) and then it started cracking into pieces. It affects how the blow dryer performs and turns off mid blow dry because of this. Would happily buy a new filter if it was an option & think it would fix it, but jury still out if I'd buy the dryer again because of this technical issue.
