I have been using this for about a week, and I’m noticing less split ends and that my hair just generally feels healthier. The scent is not overly strong and smells great in my hair all day. The oil is a bit on the heavy side, but I suspect that’s necessary due to its reparative qualities.

Shine Hair Oil

Single Best Hair Repair I have Ever used.

My hair is colored, damaged and badly in need of a hair cut. My dry damaged ends have been breaking off like crazy. Since i started using this, my hair has been transformed into something that I haven't had in years. I was actually contemplating cutting my hair very very short because of the damage, however this Kerastase Huilie Glass Reparatrice Intensive Shine Repair Oil has been life altering.

Easy to use

Feels super nice

Nice oil, no shine.

On my 3C hair however it didn’t do much for adding shine/sheen, or making my hair feel healthier. The smell is fantastic though, I’ll give it that.

Leaves hair soft and shiny with added heat protect

Amazing for damaged and non damaged hair.

I started using this with all my other Kerastase products. I will use it on wet hair before I blow dry or on dry hair to smooth. It’s lighter than other serums I use but the damage repair is really important to me as I have highlighted hair that was extra damaged due to having more fragile hair because of hypothyroidism (I didn’t know until a couple years ago and I’m on a heavy hair repair journey!). It smells AMAZING. My boyfriend’s daughter is obsessed with it too and she doesn’t have damaged hair. It’s just brown and un colored but It makes hers extra shiny and silky and smell amazing. She asked both parents for it for Christmas haha!

WOW!

Favorite hair oil ever!

Silky, Shiny, Smooth and Hydrating Results!

Its working to repair damage as it states

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kerastase Premiere Huile gloss Reparatrice Intensive shine repairing Oil so far has been great! I have damage to my ends which has been hard to work with even with routine cuts I seem to keep getting damage. The oil so far I think is actually sealing quite bit of this damage which was pretty surprising to me due to the fact some things sound to good to be true. I use it after a shower and towel drying. Remember this stuff is flammable so if you are using heat you need to make sure your hair is completely dry before styling with the oil in your hair. The oil is super concentrated and adds a beautiful shine to my locks. I have really long waist length hair and the gloss doesn’t make my hair look dirty or oily, but refreshed and healthy. I needed that! I have to use two pipettes because of my length, sometimes adding in a half more to a third depending on my hair that day. It smells pretty clean, Im kinda smelling Dial soap vides but I dont hate it because it just smells clean to me. Maybe a some lemon scent too? The texture is pretty good too and easy to apply. I look forward to testing more of this brand in the future. I would love to try a hair mask! I think that would be great to add with this in a routine. This hair oil is life changing

New staple in my routine

Nice texture and strong scent

Great for repairing damaged hair

Kerastase is a well-known hair care product brand especially for those of us who damage our hair with bleach. The packaging is very nice and sleek and looks great on your vanity. My one complaint is that I had to look up directions on how to use it because they are absolutely tiny on the box. Some oils are better off being put on while wet and others are best on dry hair. This particular oil you can use on damp or dry hair. I absolutely love the way my hair feels afterwards. I use it on damp hair and I start my ends and work my way up to the roots. My hair is damaged because I bleach it and add fantasy colors. This makes it feel like I have absolutely no damage to my hair. It smells absolutely wonderful with a gourmand scent that does not overwhelm your senses. This is my second product from Kerastase and both have an absolutely amazing. I do have to say it can be on the pricey side but you do not need to use much of the product to get the results that you want.

The consistency has a nice slip to it and feels light to the touch and my 3c/4a curly hair absorbs it really nicely. The only thing I’m not a fan of is the dimethicone in the ingredients. I try to steer clear of any products with silicones, but outside of that, it seems to have given my hair a really noice shine that isn’t over the top. Only time will tell if my hair feels stronger after usage.

Must have in my daily routine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! 5 stars!! Due to my hypothyroidism being out of control the past summer, my hair was severely damaged and dry. Since using this, my hair is strong and super soft. The smell is subtle yet pleasing. Although my hair is not back to being 100%, this oil has improved it drastically and I am now feeling confident again with my hair. I highly recommend.

Decent as a hair gloss

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This oil kind of shocked me at first as it felt almost soapy to me when I first applied it. I have 4C AA American hair so I have not be the target demographic for this product. With that being said I figured that maybe I had applied to much so the next time I used less and it did add some shine to my hair. I cannot speak to how it works on split ends/strengthening the hair, but this seems to be a decent gloss. Overall this is not something that I would run out and purchase but I will use the rest of this bottle that was sent to me so I can see if I get the full effect of what it claims to do.

Great for fine hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to try this Kerastase hair gloss treatment as my hair stylist almost exclusively swears by kerastase products and she has always created the silkiest and most natural looking styles for me whenever I get a cut, highlight, and blowout! As someone with naturally oily roots and hair, I’m always wary to use any type of product but have learned to use them sparingly! I love that this product smells so good but is also not artificial, just light and pleasant smelling both on my hands and in my hair! It protects hair from heat during blowouts and curling or straightening and also provides a grease free shine and bounce. One small pump on damp hair before blow drying was all I needed to reap the benefits! Will definitely use again and would recommend for anyone who needs something light and clean for their fine hair!

Works for porous hair

Shiny gloss hair must have!

Good slip and seal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging should of had some cardboard fold to hold the bottle in place. The bottle was definitely rattling in the box during shipment. The cap was slightly loose. Luckily nothing spilled. The cap is easy to twist, but the droppler squishy part seems flimsy. **Now the actual product smells amazing! Very luxurious!! A little goes a long way. This hair oil coats the hair nicely and creates a good slip and seals to the ends and softens the hair nicely. I am definitely so happy with this repairing oil. I have curly/wavy, heavily colored, and processed hair, and this oil immediately made my hair feel soft, smooth and eliminated the frizz.

I've got super fine hair, and this doesn't weigh it down or make it look greasy at all. Plus, it's got a fantastic fresh and luxurious scent that's just right, not too overpowering! Seriously, it leaves my hair so silky smooth and shiny, especially after blow drying and flat ironing! I’ve only been using a few days so I can’t speak to the strengthening but I can tell that it makes my hair shinier and hydrates my ends instantly! Price point is a bit high which is why I took off a Star but you only need a tiny drop or two so it should last a long time! 10/10 recommend!!

Soft shiny hair that smells salon fresh

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This oil has a lovely slip and a nice fresh scent that has that 'salon' product smell which I love. It absorbs nicely and doesn't leave hair feeling sticky or greasy, just soft and shiny. I like the idea of the packaging but I do find that because the oil is very viscous, it tends to drip off the dropper on the way to your hand. Still would buy once I finish this bottle, which seems like it will take a while because a little goes a long way.
