VIP for aging, colored hair
Color lustre conditioner is a must if you color-treat your hair and are getting older. It makes my unruly mane manageable, soft and shiny and extends the life of my highlights / lowlights. If you want your colored hair to stay at it's best, you can't go wrong with this line-- while it's great on its own I highly recommend pairing it with the color lustre shampoo.

Lacks quality/thin formula

Much like the Shampoo

Before using these products, I was somewhat skeptical, wondering if these products deliver a greatness above other shampoos and conditioners to justify the price. The first use of these AMAZING products, I seen the extraordinary results that showed me that shampoo isn't just shampoo and that they should not be mistaken as equally created. The smell of these products are divine… a light rose scent that is luxurious but not overwhelming. The shampoo along with the color Lustre glaze conditioner are a great combination that leaves your hair feeling incredibly soft and shiny and incredibly silky smooth. After the first use, my color treated hair looked and felt hydrated and healthy. My hair color appeared more vibrant, not dull. I look forward to trying the other products in this incredible line. I have long hair and it washes out nice (my hair does not feel sticky) like some other conditioners out there. I already recommended this shampoo to my family and friends. Worth to note I have bleached hair (have been doing it for years now) and this product is gentle enough. I would say I have oily hair. Good Shampoo

However after the shower it's not super strong in my hair. I did like this shampoo. I feel like it did a good job at cleaning my hair and scalp without overly drying it out. I have curly hair and I don't feel like it weighed down my curls either.

Color lustre

I'm not comfortable with using products that contain these. The conditioner was a light conditioner but felt like it enhanced the color.

Nice
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did like this conditioner but it's not for me. The scent is nice and light. I received a travel size to sample and I had to use the whole thing at once because I have long hair and it is not very creamy. It takes a lot to really coat all of my hair. I like to condition every inch really well and then I put it up until the end of my shower and then I rinse. It still wasn't as much as I would normally apply to deep condition. It's soft but not very thick. It takes a lot to really feel it in my hair. I don't normally apply this much. I can't tell if it did anything for my color. I wouldn't say it did anything at all. Nothing noticeable when I got out of the shower. I won't be switching from my current salon brand because this is pretty high priced for the amount you get. I recommend it if this sounds like a conditioner you would like and your okay with spending more because it's nice enough. It's just not for me.

Works great for my freeze damaged hair.
It detangles and soften my hair definitely looks healthier, scent is very soft.

I'd been swimming with chlorine plus my hair is already bleached so it had got really dried out but then I tried this and Wow! It made my hair super soft and shiny!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't dislike nor love this conditioner as nothing about the product results stood out to me! It seemed like your average conditioner that puts the moisture and slip back into your hair but that's about all. I didn't notice any difference in my color or any improvement in how my hair styled after using it! I need to see more results that stand out from other products to justify spending retail price for it. I have used conditioners that cost half the price that did more for my hair.

BEST CONDITIONER PERIOD

This is a pretty good conditioner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed my free sample of the Color Lustre Conditioner. It had a nice mild perfume-like scent, kind of like a slightly musky, sweet floral. It has a fairly thin consistency and my hair soaked it right up. I actually prefer a more buttery feel to my conditioner that I can feel while it's in my hair, but not a big deal. I have to admit my color is currently pretty faded, but it definitely didn't fade any further after washing with this conditioner. Once dry, my hair looked smoother with less frizz than usual, and felt well moisturized. It had that good kind of heavy feeling, like it was strong & nourished but still had volume.

Color Lustre Conditioner

I only had to use a small amount in my hair, which is past the middle of my back. The conditioner smells great. I washed my hair three days ago and my hair still looks great. I have frizzy hair and didn't even have to use extra products. I do recommend this product.

Ultra lightweight

Soft Hair

I decided to try Color Lustre Conditioner and I haven't noticed anything more than the normal settling of my color, it definitely isn't stripping it of brightness. In fact, my hair feels so soft and looks so shiny after a wash with Color Lustre, and the rose fragrance is so nice.

This conditioner is lightweight has a beautiful scent and enhances redhead tones. I agree with Skylar’s review that it is too drying for medium to coarse voluminous hair. Have yet to try thermo milk or perhaps use Silk bloom conditioner. Leaving out the conditioner and using the mask as a alternate might have the frizz free full bodied lush look that Pureology Hydrate is known to produce. I found the scent more attractive than the stinging peppermint. At the expensive cost-other products are necessary to tame frizz and dryness. I’ve heard Joico Infuse Red is drying also. Sebastian Whipped Creme or Redken Aerate are essentials to create slip and sealed movement.

Big hit: color lustre shampoo conditioner combo !
Just tried out the color lustre shampoo and conditioner i had ordered and i’m totally happy with the result. My hair has body and looks lustrous ! During lockdown i was trying to manage with some products from local drugstore but this is a differrence of day and night i honestly have to admit !

Silky Shiny hair
I did not appreciate the magic of Shu Uemura until I stepped away from it.
As a stylist before a career change, I did not fully understand how amazing it was to work with these products until I no longer had them to use. I was recently gifted this shampoo/conditioner as well as other products and can say in ONE use, my hair is softer, shinier, and smells more amazing than it has in over a year.
